25/08/2025: It used to be quite a good local shop sadly since the new build it has just become a glorified deli and staff have little or no interest . Called in again today 25 August 25 . Sad to say in 3 years nothing has changed . Still not a shop , still don't stock basic items , still a glorified over priced and by the reviews I've read a poor quality deli with staff who are not interested . Even kerri who is now running it is not interested . She is sadly running what was a lovely local SHOP into the ground .

31/08/2025: Got a spice bag and a few yrs ago they were amazing, lots of spices, well cooked and the main thing, good chicken. Today me and my friend got them and the price wasn't the issue, it was how in the entire spice bag we got 3 maybe 4 pieces of chicken smaller than McDonald's nuggets. As a loyal costumer I have to say I'm dissapointed and will be exploring other options in future to hit my protein 😢

19/08/2025: Restaurant next door was busier but I do not know why. I had chicken hot and spicy stir fry number 15 and it was delicious. Highly recommend.

15/08/2025: Nice spot, nice vibe inside. Unfortunately when we arrived most of the tables inside were reserved but we still managed to find a comfy spot. Bartender seemed totally over it but served us ok.

15/06/2025: I had high hopes for this place, but after witnessing what goes on behind closed doors, I can’t recommend it. The lack of professionalism and questionable after-hours behaviour were deeply disappointing. What’s worse, after leaving my honest opinion, I received an intimidating message. That says more about the place than any review could. I was a regular customer. I expected decency, not fear. Not sure if management is aware, but if they are, that alone should be a red flag. Think twice before supporting this place.

13/07/2025: We absolutely love Fernroyd House. My family of 8 stayed here, occupying 4 rooms. Each room was spacious and lovely, each also having its own ensuite bathroom. The made-from-scratch breakfast (including fresh baked scones!) was delicious & the perfect way to start the day. Tony and Avril are amazing hosts. The location is great… bars & restaurants all very walkable. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

30/06/2025: Our stay at Fernroyd House was a great pleasure. The spacious and quiet room and en-suite bathroom were neat and comfortable. Breakfast was a wonderful experience with fruit and self made yogurt, freshly baked scones and delicious meals from the menu. Tony’s and Avril’s service made us perfectly happy. We will definitely return! Thank you for everything.

21/08/2025: The customer care service and response needs to be worked on. More information about delivery(delivery company) used too needs to be given to the client or updated on your website/whatsapp welcome message. I had a terrible experience of being ignored without any update from the person I was chatting with. When I complained the message I got was such a terrible message, where the person responded like she was doing me a favour. You really need to do better. About the product I ordered, there is no doubt about the authenticity of the product I got it. It was exactly what I wanted. It was original, especially since a lot of fakes are in circulation and the price was the best price I saw anywhere. I hope in future I can get more of the product I got and be able to edit/update this review to more favourable experience.

04/04/2025: They have everything I wanted. Customer service was top notch! I ordered from Norway and my package arrived right on time and in good condition. Very happy with my order. If you are a lover of African food/groceries, this store is highly recommended.

27/08/2025: Good spot especially on a summers day. Nice outdoor seated area and marquee. Plenty of green space for kids to run around in a safe way. Need to book in advance as it is busy.

10/08/2025: We saw some extremely interesting exhibitions, in the first architectural building we encountered in Ireland, and finished with the most delicious mushroom toast in the Glucksman café.

03/07/2025: This is a really nice art museum in the center of UCC College. Airy, bright and nice to visit.
