24/06/2025: Best wine bar in Cork - visited a few times since opening and it's always nothing less than excellent. Great wine, good sharing plates and very friendly service.

21/11/2025: We had the pleasure of dining at 51 Cornmarket tonight, and the entire experience was world-class, especially the service. We were running significantly late due to unforeseen circumstances, but the owner, Anne, was absolutely fantastic and incredibly accommodating. ​Anne stayed in close contact with us while we were en route, kindly sent us the menu ahead of time, and even took our order so the kitchen could prepare our meal while we traveled. This level of communication and care is truly rare and saved our evening! ​Once we arrived, the setting and atmosphere were warm, intimate, and absolutely on point. The food was nothing short of fantastic—every dish was delicious. The wine selection was also superb. ​Thank you, Anne, and the entire team at 51 Cornmarket, for turning a stressful evening into a wonderful dining experience. Highly, highly recommend!

03/12/2025: Exceptionally helpful and friendly staff . Parking can be a little tricky if driving during school times so I time my visits to suit . Excellent pharmacists who are always available to chat about any medical concerns .

22/09/2025: Long wait for main course cavery on a Sunday, Table not ready upon arrival but having said that the place was full up in every location and a big party upstairs. Food was OK but nothing to write home about. Beef carvery was tough and curry was bland and lacking in spices and flavour. Chicken wings were spot on though.

05/09/2025: A very good pub in the area with excellent staff, it has a back area with huge wooden benches, very good pints, in short, an authentic traditional Irish pub, and now with the students returning there will be many lively nights.

04/08/2025: A very cozy bar with good music and a relaxed atmosphere. It's nice to finally find a place where vaping is prohibited. I wonder when they realize it's the same as smoking. Thank you for providing a smoke-free space.
