The best restaurants in Cork city council

17/10/2026: Ellie and Conor our servers were incredible. They knew what we wanted before we did !! They are such incredible server's and I will be back just for them.

22/09/2026: Lovely, local pub with rich history. Can be noisy. No experience of eating there but the location at St Lukes Cross is central to eateries and the St Lukes Event Centre in the old church has frequent gigs.

17/09/2026: I was v disappointed when I visited here, there was a lady behind the counter making coffee and she was barking orders at other staff members. The cake was stale and my friends tea, the teabag had burst. Great location, but they need to improve on customer service and staff relations.

20/10/2026: Unfortunately, our experience at The Model Farm was extremely disappointing, especially considering that we have known and visited this restaurant for years. My girlfriend visits regularly with her family every Saturday, which makes this experience even more upsetting. My girlfriend planned to take me to your restaurant for my birthday. We called at 7 PM to ask what time the last food order would be, and we were told 8 PM. We arrived at 7:50 PM, only to be met with extremely poor and unprofessional treatment from the two female staff members taking orders. The first staff member was rude to us simply because we changed tables, while the second spoke to us in an aggressive, raised voice and seemed annoyed that we were placing an order at all. We called in advance, confirmed the ordering time, and arrived within the time we were given. We were customers expecting a pleasant birthday meal, not to be made to feel unwelcome for ordering food. If the restaurant is not willing to accept orders close to closing time, this should be communicated clearly over the phone rather than taking it out on customers who have done nothing wrong. What should have been a lovely birthday celebration turned into a very unpleasant experience and spoiled our day. It is particularly disappointing when this happens at a restaurant we have known and visited for years. Good food is not enough if customers are treated with disrespect. I sincerely hope management addresses this behaviour, because this is not the level of service we expected from The Model Farm. A very disappointing experience, and certainly not what we expected from a restaurant we had trusted for so long.

30/07/2026: We had the best beamish the best Guinness the best Murphy's we ever had and I've had loads about all over the place , a top top top and the staff are top notch

10/07/2026: Drove 45 minutes from home to get a box of cakes for my family and stopped by to get a cup of coffee. The apple square is perfect with a cup of tea or coffee. Lovely staff and nice variety of freshly made food. Kept my box of cakes in the fridge until I was ready to leave. Well worth the travel. Thank you so much! 😄

13/06/2026: Absolutely the best bakery and deli. The sandwich’s are outstanding absolutely outstanding. All staff here are amazing and very friendly people. The cakes are delicious I got my partners cake here for 30th. Definitely the best sandwich in Cork by far.

18/04/2026: Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Nice little walk to Blarney Castle grounds. Several places to eat within walking distance. Highly recommend!!

10/04/2026: Beautiful hotel, just a short walk from blarney castle, we had a gorgeous and fantastic service from the majority of the staff, the showers could’ve been a bit hotter and some areas could have done with some extra dusting but, the food was tasty and the portions were generous and the beds were so comfortable I could barely get out of bed in morning!

02/08/2026: Excellent bar, several games are offered, including darts
