The best restaurants in Cork city council

03/02/2026: Takeaway and Dine in options. Looks like a takeaway from outside but actually an authentic Italian restaurant. The decor is very Italian. Some warm colour bulbs could soften atmosphere in the evening. Food was very good and enjoyable. Staff friendly and attentive.

02/02/2026: Got two pizzas as take out and wish we would have eaten in the restaurant! The pizzas were truly fantastic but the service was the shining star. The owner is incredibly warm, welcoming, and friendly. Made me wish we would have sat down and eaten our spectacular pizzas in the restaurant and continued the conversation the owner struck up for the few short minutes I was in to pick up our order. Highly recommend!

23/02/2026: Wilton was one of the first shopping centres built in Cork and it is showing its age. A single floor anchored by Tesco at one end and Pennies at the other with a range of businesses between. Its still a one stop shop for most of the time. There is ample parking, Cork University hospital is across the road and both Aldi and Lidl are close by. Access is very good.

16/02/2026: Good center in a good location, right next to the bus station, has good food places, a Dealz and a Tesco, some clothes shops, very handy

23/12/2025: Mini golf was the opposite of horrible dont change it or else 1 star from me :D The cheese sauce is too cheesy and too thick The bowling 10/10 no notes. But please change the intro when it says how many pins you hit on the tv please .they didn’t make sense at all. From Julie and her nephew Max. :)

23/12/2025: Our third time to Airtastic - always a hit for our now 11 year old. The bounce park has a decent setup, nice viewing area, solid refreshment stand and connects indoors to the adjacent arcade and bowling. The arcade is a bit worn, a few games weren't working or were glitchy which was disappointing, but still had fun.

28/11/2025: Went there for my birthday. The food was enjoyable. Nice atmosphere. Would recommend.

26/11/2025: Great little spot best steak In town. Very happy..lovely staff too very accommodating.

01/12/2025: A pub with a great atmosphere and good service; it's fast if you're expecting it, i.e., on weekends. On Thursdays it's a bit slower, but still great.

11/11/2025: Very accommodating and great to deal with for my stag party, great staff, pints of great quality including Murphys of the highest calibre and great location overlooking the city in St Lukes

19/12/2025: Just had a delicious toasted chicken sandwich and coffee at Food Capers. The chicken was fresh and not the horrible package stuff many places do now. Service was efficient and friendly. Will deffo be back!

31/03/2026: Just had a wonderful break at the Montenotte, room was very comfortable and everything needed was available. Breakfast in the panorama lounge was delicious with beautiful views of the city. Drinks in the night overlooking the lights of Cork is wonderful. Staff are very attentive and friendly. The short walk downhill is easy to access the city and it's a very short uphill taxi back. We'll certainly return

25/03/2026: Off busy narrow street, so have a good navigation so you don't miss the entry like we did, as it was a bear to get back here. Otherwise, this has been the best hotel we have stayed while in Ireland so far. The staff and hotels attention to details are top notch. You should not be disappointed!

20/04/2026: Nice place, not much to look at from outside, but certainly a lovely cosy nook with a bit of humour.

11/03/2026: I love this little spot! The food is really made with love and you can taste it. The atmosphere is cozy and quirky and the whole experience is a little joy !

04/01/2026: Really poor. Website advertised kitchen open until 9 pm. Tried to place an order at 19.37 to be told that the kitchen closed at 19.30. Despite our group placing an order at 19.26 and pizzas did not arrive until 19.55 they would not accept an order for two pizzas. Stonky behaviour by manager Gary Caughlan who demanded that the kitchen closed. Staff obviously still on site. No incentive to return. Would definitely not recommend this pub as a place to go to in blackrock

30/11/2025: Had a lovely impromptu dinner date here. Food was delicious and well priced. Small internal seating area and though tables are close together, we felt it was still private enough. Service brilliant and staff very friendly.

29/11/2025: We had a fantastic experience at this restaurant. The service was outstanding from the moment we arrived. We originally booked a table for four, but since we ended up being five, the staff went out of their way to arrange a larger table for us without any trouble. The food was excellent, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the team was incredibly attentive and friendly. We truly appreciated their flexibility and kindness. Highly recommended!

08/03/2026: Staff are nice but the food is absolutely shocking. Definitely the worst boojum I have ever been to. Freezing cold, inedible, I threw it away because I felt sick eating it. Expensive mistake going here. It also took absolutely ages and the staff were in a bit of a faff because they were working on deliveroo orders. They handled it as best they could but I do not recommend this place to anyone anymore. Shame because it was good at one time! Edit: I did contact ye before posting this review to give you a chance so there's no point replying to me with that get in contact craic.

07/09/2025: €8.95 for a coffee and a scone. Way too expensive. Coffee was nice scone was ok. Got a pastiche de nata also for nearly 4 quid... Really poor left it behind. Staff were really nice.
