01/01/2025: Charming, warm, homely, stripped back old-style pub. Wonderful experience and oasis right in the middle of the cacophony of Cork city centre. Friendly vibe, no tvs, no music just the real deal Irish pub. You’d never know who you might bump into with such an eclectic clientele of local and international.

28/02/2025: Small shopping mall with plenty of parking. Tuesday farmers market from 1000-1400. Loving Salads have a stall here which is fantastic.

21/12/2024: Awesome Irish Pub! Super friendly staff and great beers! Regularly small concerts take place. Be careful, the place is not very big and there are many regulars so places are taken quickly! No food.

08/10/2024: Favorite chip shop of mine over more than a decade of visiting Cork on occasion. With that said my last visit a few weeks ago ended up with them giving me the wrong order that I did not realize was the case until long away from the shop. Chicken supper instead of the Cod Supper that I ordered. It was still good but it sad that I didn't get one last Cod Supper before they shut down for good this past weekend.

They were always there to help, super friendly, and made sure everything was perfect for us. 09/10/2024: I’m writing this review as I’m still here enjoying myself. It’s a bar within the Montenotte Hotel. I was greeted and felt welcomed by a gentleman out front. He ushered me to the bar happily. I was maybe 10 minutes early but they weren’t angry or upset. The bartender, Debbie, was unbelievably kind and attentive. She was such a delight to talk to and give me suggestions. I am beyond happy I randomly came here. Will definitely return just for the hospitality alone.

08/02/2025: Lovely shop selling an incredible selection of loose teas. The owner is very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the teas. You can sample in-house (limited seating available) or buy to take away.

Bebidas lanzadas a personas a precios totalmente desorbitados 12 . 50 E para una copa o vino normal. Servido podría añadir en una pequeña jarra dando una ilusión óptica de ser más que un vaso. Créeme, era un vaso desnudo. Mi amigo estaba teniendo una botella de luz Coors que tienen la osadía de cargar 6. 20 E. Todo el mundo tiene que obtener beneficios, pero hay márgenes y márgenes. Evite este establecimiento de estafa a toda costa. Ningún valor o cerca del valor aquí. ¡Qué asco cobrar precios tan exorbitantes por un lugar de mala calidad!

08/03/2025: I entered in here after running 2.5km or miles, not sure which as I don't run. I had the appetite of a man who ran 2.5km or miles, not sure which as I don't run. I ordered a mixed donner and chips meal. It hit the spot and I always remember hearing somewhere something about the last bite? The last bite in this establishment blew my mind. I don't know why, but the last bite of the meal I purchased upset me as to how good the meal was. The sauces on the plate, how it is served it perfect. I would highly recommend purchasing the meal I just spoke about. Fresh onion, fresh tomato, fresh lettuce and there was a pickled beetroot or slaw? Definitely try this place out if you are around Plunkett Street and hungry. The seating I found was perfect as a solo diner, I had a mirror in front of me to take in my surroundings and atmosphere as I enjoyed the meal and also ate upon a funky colored marble tabletop. 4 stars from me !

09/11/2024: Lovely little pub in a beautiful area, I’ve been going here since I was a kid visiting family, it’s had a lot of work done to improve the local area. The staff are very friendly and helped direct us to the new playground that’s been installed further down the marina. Food is excellent, would definitely recommend!
