The best restaurants in Cork city council

13/09/2026: Had some really delicious drinks (try the Baby Beamish shot) and great service from a really friendly bartender at this bar on a quiet Sunday afternoon!

24/09/2026: The food is really good and definitely worth trying. There are quite a lot of vegan options. Too bad about the cleanliness. The place is very cramped, there are few tables and they aren't cleaned very often except by whoever just left them. Since there's no table service, no restroom, and not great cleanliness, I'd expect slightly lower prices. The food, though, is really tasty, and the staff are kind and friendly.

12/09/2026: We needed a change of pace from Irish food, and this place delivered! There are very few tables as most people do takeout, but we found a table and ordered beef pho (medium) and kimchi ramen with chicken (spicy). Both were delicious! The kimchi broth was very unique and there were lots of noodles and veggies. The pho had a lot of beef and veggies as well. They don’t hold back on the spicy, so make sure you want that. I think they could have a restaurant five times bigger and it would still fill up. I would love to go back and try their other rice and noodle dishes.

10/08/2026: I'm speaking from experience about the apartment, and it has an excellent location. The hosts are attentive and friendly; they even booked a taxi for me. The apartment meets all your needs. It is a bit noisy, at least on Saturday nights, but that's the risk you take with the bar downstairs. Everything was very clean.

08/08/2026: We had a great stay in Talbot hotel. The room is spacious and very comfortable and had a great shower. Specially the hotel has non feather rooms and an air conditioner in the room’s. If the price is right we will definitely come back to stay again.

29/06/2026: Great experience at the Talbot. My wife and I stayed there for a gig at Virgin Media park. It wasn't quite a close as I thought but the hotel was really nice and the staff couldn't have been nicer or more responsive.

02/08/2026: We went to have a snack. We shared a large dish of mussels and a pizza which were superb. We then shared the salmón dish on rice - also superb. The water provided was also excellent. Staff were patient and pleasant. The only Black Mark was the appalling state of the Gents loo.....

16/09/2026: Nice cafe with even nicer staff who are always welcoming and contribute to a great atmosphere in the cafe. The coffee is good and the lead barista is very knowledgeable about coffee. Front of house staff are always awesome and very nice. Just need that full irish to make a 4 star into a 5 star :)

19/09/2026: Great ambiance. Delicious meals. We really appreciated that they fit us in even though it was packed. The service was quick. Everyone was quite nice. Washrooms were clean. It was 10 min walk from Talbot Hotel.

10/09/2026: The food is good, the service is better! Professional staff with good customer service skills. The Beamish is top notch and the fact that I could have a tab open at the bar while I did some work emails was really handy. Very relaxed place and well worth a visit

12/10/2025: Beautiful Cafe with a lovely cosy interior and atmosphere,theres also a Charity Shop next door with some lovely items available and reasonably priced....both the Cafe and Charity Shop support Down Syndrome which is fantastic to support

16/10/2026: Fab, friendly bar I found on my first visit to Cork. There is plenty of outdoor seating just outside, and more by the quay (which is covered). Recommended.

20/09/2026: Met a friend for coffee and cake here. I had americano and red velvet cake which were excellent. Staff were friendly. It was uncomfortably loud here and made it difficult to have a conversation.
