19/08/2024: Had veggie pizza and margarita pizza , best taste I had in a while .

18/08/2024: The best pizza in Ireland. These folks know what they’re doing. Super friendly too. We asked for a Garlic Cheese Pizza bread which isn’t something that was on the menu and they made it fresh with raw garlic and suggested adding a bit of olive oil too. It was 12 out of 10!! Thanks folks!

25/05/2025: I friend of mine got me a hazelnut Flavoured coffee from you guys recently. It was super. I decided to order a 1kg bag since we have a new born in the house and depend has increased.

01/04/2025: Service was friendly and quick. Limited prepped menu allows for quick takeaway. Can enjoy the food while walking around. Make note that the spicy tuna roll is cooked, so it has a cooked tuna flavor as you’d expect. Overall it was pretty great food and I would recommend.

22/05/2025: Stopped by Soma 2 after dropping off clients in Cork, a real gem of a spot! As a professional chauffeur with Titanium Life Chauffeurs, I’m always on the lookout for places that are quick, comfortable, and serve quality food — this one checks all the boxes. Had their ham & cheese toastie and a cappuccino, both were excellent. The toastie was perfectly crisp and the coffee had that rich, smooth finish with great latte art. Also tried a slice of red velvet cake — soft, fresh, and delicious. The place is bright, clean, and welcoming, with plenty of parking in the back, which is a big bonus when you’re in a hurry. Staff were super friendly and service was fast — ideal for a quick lunch stop while on the road. Highly recommend it to fellow drivers, locals, and anyone passing through Cork! 📸 (Photo attached – says it all.)

16/05/2025: Really don’t know where so many 5 star reviews are coming from. Visited 14.05 evening. Waitress in glasses saw me entering the restaurant and completely ignored me until I went up to the bar area to “let my presence known”. Ordered grilled salmon (€25) that was all dry and white wine sauce hard seen. In terms of ambience it’s average at best.

21/12/2024: Awesome Irish Pub! Super friendly staff and great beers! Regularly small concerts take place. Be careful, the place is not very big and there are many regulars so places are taken quickly! No food.

05/04/2025: Probably one of the nicest takeaway burger I ever had. Burger came very fresh, the packaging was so well done. Chips were really nice too. And the price is fair. We even git a complimentary Tiramisu. So we will definately be back again. Also the delivery man was a gent.

08/05/2025: One star is being generous the prices, the amount of time wasted going to different queues for coffee ice cream and whatever else is ridiculous it’s very pointless and confusing. I was there recently for ice cream for my daughter the machine ran out more had to be made it took forever the staff need to be trained better. I got a refund and left absolute disaster I ordered a birthday cake for my daughter they added there own thing on it for whatever reason and it ruined the cake. Serious improvements need to be made.

08/05/2025: Just hosted my 80th birthday at this remarkable gem. Valerie was wonderful to work with. Nothing was too much trouble for her. I had some, shall I say, a few unique requests and Valerie said “of course” yes, we can do that. My guests were impressed with the whole evening. The food, the wine, the vibe, the atmosphere were exactly what I was looking for as I celebrated a momentous and significant milestone in my life. A fantastic choice, great selection of food, lovely staff and great banter, highly recommended Food Capers, will go back next time we are in the area. Set our day off to a mighty start. Thank you.
