26/12/2025: Bright Side has become a regular stop in our morning. The staff are always welcoming, the coffee is up there with the best in Cork, and the white chocolate and raspberry muffins are to die for.

09/10/2025: Lovely little spot for a coffee. The service is very friendly and welcoming. Coffee always delicious. I docked a star for the Hallumi bagel because I just thought it tasted a bit odd with the combination of ingredients. It was nice enough but just a bit too sweet with the squash and the caramelised onion relish. I was a little disappointed I hadn’t ordered something else. Aside from that I do enjoy the setup of this cafe it’s bright and airy and nice to sit in.

We were running significantly late due to unforeseen circumstances, but the owner, Anne, was absolutely fantastic and incredibly accommodating. ​Anne stayed in close contact with us while we were en route, kindly sent us the menu ahead of time, and even took our order so the kitchen could prepare our meal while we traveled. This level of communication and care is truly rare and saved our evening! ​Once we arrived, the setting and atmosphere were warm, intimate, and absolutely on point. The food was nothing short of fantastic—every dish was delicious. The wine selection was also superb. ​Thank you, Anne, and the entire team at 51 Cornmarket, for turning a stressful evening into a wonderful dining experience. Highly, highly recommend!

15/11/2025: Highly recommended to give the curry corner a chance. Delivers high quality both in taste and service. I visit often and I personally recommend their lamb and chicken dishes. They have all options for naan bread and sea foods too. They also have the fast food options like the burgers doner kebabs which are also a top pick for me. Only con is that they are only a takeaway shop.

23/02/2026: A great little gallery with really friendly staff. We went to the Dinosaur exhibition at the weekend and really enjoyed it, our tour guide was engaging and very knowledgable. I highly recommend this exhibition in particular, it's on until April 2026.
