28/10/2024: Great atmosphere and music. I caught the Barman on a bar day, very grumpy 🙄 Service was ok and so was the food. Pub grub style.

03/11/2024: Great place freindly saff .always gets our Christmas cake there .it's the best always .but not this year 2022 cake wasn't as good was dry and hard sorry to say no better in 2023 got a better cake some were else.

20/10/2024: This is where real Italian food lives in Cork. Check out the freshest pastries, sweets and food overall. I like their chocolates with wishes, and love getting little cakes and bakes, all fresh. Nice cosy tables to sit outside and indoors for lunch or just tea and coffee.

24/10/2024: What a disappointment! I have never ordered from a Chinese before that didn't give rice with their meals automatically. We ordered a curry and black bean like we normally do, expecting rice but nothing came with it. We only ordered these with 2 minerals and prawn crackers which came to €30. This is an extortionate price for that amount of food and the prawn crackers are stale. Don't waste your money. Never again! What a joke.

16/11/2024: Went for the comedy show upstairs, and wasn't disappointed! I will definitely go again next time I'm in Cork, Dave and the other comics were all hilarious, each in their own unique & funny perspectives, and masterful in creating a cozy vibe that got us all laughing together at some of life's absurdities. 🥳😂🤪💯🌟 Highly recommended if you like to have a good laugh!

10/11/2024: Had a couple nice Irish coffees here. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Vibe was laid back and cool. Good place to people watch.

02/11/2024: We went to Barry's for my husband's graduation. From the second we arrived until we left it was amazing. From the food to the service it was all amazing. Our server Maeve was amazing professional and joined in the banter we were having we loved it . If you get served by her you are very lucky . I hope Barry's management knows how amazing she is . Staff like Maeve are very hard to find . Thanks so much Barry's and especially Maeve.

10/11/2024: We came today to try this kebabs after seeing so many good reviews 17.50€ a meal for a kebab a chip and a can of coke … I mean I understand inflation and all but there has to be a limit . If I would have seen the prices before walking in, I would have passed . The meat was ok, not good nor bad . The bread however wasn’t to our taste it was chewy. Overall it wasn’t neither good or bad , just very average when it comes to food and overpriced.

01/11/2024: Many people spoke well of the restaurant, and today I decided to try the food that everyone talks about, and let me tell you, the food was excellent, well prepared, the dish came beautifully, both the lamb and chicken were well seasoned, fresh salads and a cold drink, I recommend it and I will always come back, congratulations to the team.

09/10/2024: This hotel is getting old, the house and rooms are dirty and many things are broken. The breakfast service is a disaster. Too bad.

07/10/2024: The hotel is dated and dingy! My room is filthy the hotel itself smells a bit funny. Carpets throughout the hotel are dirty and stained including in my room. Chairs in the room look like they were pulled out of a dumpster… So far the staff have been great and friendly so that’s a plus and it’s a good location. I had high hopes for this place when booking but it’s 100% not what it seems and is definitely misrepresented in the adds. I would not book here again.

31/10/2024: The pizza is incredibly tasty, but I had to wait more than half an hour, but I really liked it

28/10/2024: Went out of my way to visit this place while I was working at the Jazz Festival, place wasn't necessarily busy, waited 20 minutes after ordering a simple margherita pizza - noticed a group in front of me who arrived after me were getting their food. I asked at the till if my pizza was nearly ready, but it wasn't even put through the till and nobody knew about, yet there were at least 4/5 people working there at the time. Very disappointed, I never leave negative reviews but this really annoyed me. Considering how little seats are in the place, such a waste of time. The lady at the till was apologetic in fairness, despite not being the one who took my order in the first place - nothing from the guy who took my order though. There's human error, and then there's just complete incompetence.

09/11/2024: Poor hygiene - saw woman working there sneezing into hands and handling my sandwich to me. When I told her I wanted a new one she called me a liar.

20/10/2024: Best Keto Salad in Cork Cobb Salad!!! And the sandwiches are delicious!!! Even the baguette with butter is a revelation - from a Polish bakery. Crispy, delicious, fragrant.
