The best restaurants in Cork city council

01/03/2025: The food is not cheap, but the portions are too small. 27.5 A beef tenderloin roasted with green onions is probably worth at least 25% more for the same price in the Netherlands. The beef is not chewy, 27.5 should at least use some American or Uruguayan beef.

01/03/2025: Very good Chinese restaurant, one of the best in Cork. Been there for 10+ years. Menu is a little expensive though.

03/02/2025: Clean and tidy, if not a little cold and sterile. Plenty of parking outside. A large range of food options that are slightly expensive. Toilets are clean and tidy.

01/04/2025: Service was friendly and quick. Limited prepped menu allows for quick takeaway. Can enjoy the food while walking around. Make note that the spicy tuna roll is cooked, so it has a cooked tuna flavor as you’d expect. Overall it was pretty great food and I would recommend.

23/03/2025: 20€ para una cena de fish & chip y 18€. 50 para una pechuga de pollo con una pequeña porción de puré y relleno (Mass & relleno que cobraron € 6 por ? ! ? ). Extorsión. Uno de los camareros era increíblemente grosero también, afortunadamente gerente era muy bueno y lidió con su horrible comportamiento muy bien. Afortunadamente la compañía era muy buena y tuvimos charlas encantadoras.

17/03/2025: Went to coqbull few times with the last few weeks, each time I went he asked me had I got a booking when their was tables free, when I seen other people in front off me get tables without booking, went today after st patrick day parade with family and he refused me entry at the door for no reason, manager is awfull rude just turned his back and walked away, I think this is down to my ethnicity absolutely pure racism, will not be attending no more made me feel so embarrassed In front off lots off people!

05/04/2025: Flippin' delicious coffee and wonderful friendly and helpful staff. Bought some coffee to take home and they checked what I would be using to make it and ground the beans to the right consistency for me without me having to ask. Very cool ambience as well. Love.

28/03/2025: When I told the worker my order she told me they have no ice and to go away in a very rude and snappy tone. I am a paying costumer and this isn’t the first time it’s happened to me and our my friends. This is not ok

06/01/2025: I recently visited a fantastic takeaway pizza place, and I just had to share my experience! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by a friendly girl at the counter who made the ordering process so easy and enjoyable. She was super knowledgeable about the menu and helped me choose the perfect pizza, recommending some delicious toppings that I hadn't considered. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and I could tell that the staff genuinely cared about their customers. When my pizza was ready, it looked amazing and tasted even better! The crust was perfectly crispy, the toppings were fresh, and the flavours were spot on. I left the place feeling satisfied and excited to come back for more. Overall, this pizza spot is a must-visit, and I can't wait to see the girl at the counter again for my next order!

13/01/2025: Experiencia Decepcionante – Comida Sosa, Sobreprecio y Mal Servicio" Visitamos este restaurante con grandes esperanzas de una buena comida familiar, pero por desgracia, no estuvo a la altura de las expectativas. Éramos cuatro, y pedimos una variedad de platos para tener una buena idea de lo que el menú tenía para ofrecer. Empezamos con la ensalada de mousse de queso de cabra, paté, bolas de arancini y ensalada de pollo. Todos eran increíblemente simples, caros y carecían de sabor real. Para empezar, estos platos podrían haberse servido en cualquier restaurante económico, pero aquí se marcaron mucho más allá de lo que valían. Para el plato principal, fuimos con el Pato (40€ ) , Cordero (40€ ) , y Dover Sole. El pato estaba seco, soso, y venía con solo unas pocas zanahorias bebé y patatas sin sabor. El Cordero estaba demasiado cocido e igualmente insípido. La suela Dover estaba bien, un poco seca y carecía de cualquier condimento o riqueza. Lo que realmente nos dejó sintiéndonos engañados, sin embargo, fue el precio. Nos habría decepcionado la comida incluso a un precio más bajo, pero cuando pagas 100 € por persona, simplemente no es aceptable. Para empeorar las cosas, el servicio era deficiente: el personal ni siquiera se molestó en servir nuestro vino y nuestro café Calipso llegó frío. La única característica redentora de la noche fue el cóctel Margarita, que en realidad era bastante agradable. Definitivamente no volveremos. Cuando pagas precios premium, esperas comida y servicio premium, y este restaurante no cumplió con ambos. - -

13/01/2025: "Disappointing Experience – Bland Food, Overpriced, and Poor Service" We visited this restaurant with high hopes for a nice family meal, but unfortunately, it did not live up to expectations. There were four of us, and we ordered a variety of dishes to get a good sense of what the menu had to offer. We started with the Goat's Cheese Mousse Salad, Pâté, Arancini Balls, and Chicken Salad. All were incredibly plain, overpriced, and lacked any real flavour. For starters, these dishes could have been served at any budget restaurant, but here they were marked up far beyond what they were worth. For the main course, we went with the Duck (€40), Lamb (€40), and Dover Sole. The Duck was dry, bland, and came with just a few baby carrots and flavorless potatoes. The Lamb was overcooked and equally tasteless. The Dover Sole was completely dry and lacked any seasoning or richness. What really left us feeling deceived, however, was the price. We would have been disappointed with the food even at a lower price point, but when you’re paying €100 per person, it’s simply not acceptable. To make matters worse, the service was lacking—staff didn’t even bother to serve our wine, and our Calypso Coffee arrived cold. The only redeeming feature of the evening was the Margarita cocktail, which was actually quite nice. We will definitely not be returning. When you're paying premium prices, you expect premium food and service, and this restaurant failed to deliver on both.

27/03/2025: I’ve taken any visiting family here because the food is so good. The staff is lovely and the food is so unbelievably good !! We all had dinner, were so full, and ordered more because it was so delicious we couldn’t help ourselves. Fully recommend for food and for vibes 🖤

15/03/2025: Service was ok. Atmosphere was great. However a pint of Heineken cost 7.20. I would have almost accepted that if at the very least it was put it in the correct branded glass. Surprising considering that Heineken hold quality to such a high standard.
