22/06/2026: Fantastic stay in a beautifully refurbished room! I recently stayed at Leonardo Hotel in Cork and was incredibly impressed by their newly refurbished rooms. The redesign is both stylish and highly functional, with a lovely contemporary color palette featuring warm terracotta and dusty pink tones. The Bedroom Area: The beds are absolutely pristine, incredibly comfortable and topped with plenty of crisp, fresh pillows. The new patterned carpets give the space a very premium, cozy feel. Workspace & Amenities: The workspace area is brilliantly laid out. It features a large, flat-screen TV mounted on a chic pink panel, a dedicated desk with convenient power outlets, a matching vanity stool and a comfortable armchair. They’ve also thought of practical touches like a cooling tower fan and a well-equipped tea/coffee station. Storage & Entryway: The attention to detail continues right from the entrance. The hallway features a stunning, full-length arched mirror and beautiful custom built-in wardrobes that blend seamlessly into the room's color scheme. The Bathroom: The bathroom feels like a luxury boutique hotel. It features a gorgeous modern floating sink, an illuminated LED mirror and a fantastic walk-in shower complete with stylish vertical terracotta tiling and a rainfall showerhead. Everything was spotlessly clean. The Service: Beyond the brilliant new rooms, the staff here are absolutely wonderful—so friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout the entire stay. Leonardo's has done an amazing job with this upgrade. It offers the perfect mix of excellent service, comfort, style, and a great location in Cork. Highly recommended!

16/06/2026: The staff was great friendly and informative. We arrived by town truck as the car rental broke down. The staff immediately made us feel comfortable. Rooms were clean and shower had great pressure. Being in walking distance to buses, train, great restaurants and shops we canceled car.

22/06/2026: Has to be the nicest lamb vindaloo ive had, 100% spot on lovely, chips too very nice hand cut chipper chips not them frozen ones. Nan bread and rice both amazing, lovely heat from the vindaloo and lamb nice and tender, the lads are sound too, nice meeting you guys, ill definitely be back, the lad from dublin in the truck if you remember 😀 amazing food 😋

25/09/2026: I’m a regular at Sliced Ballincollig, they’ve the best pizza and really nice salads, staff are always friendly and order is prepared on time. Also we love s garlic bread here. The only one dish I wouldn’t order again is carbonara, but maybe I was simply unlucky on the day.

22/08/2026: We had a wonderful experience at Sliced today. The staff was so attentive and accommodating with our 8-month-old and helped us know a birthday surprise. The food was fantastic as always. I enjoy their pasta and pizza dishes. Very likely the best restaurant in Ballincollig. Thank you.

18/08/2026: A simple but interesting museum with an audio tour included in the entry fee which mashed a change from lots of reading. Good to visit before walking around the mine sites.

09/09/2026: Got two paninis with ham and cheese, no sauce on them. Offered garlic mayo or taco on the side with crisps. Extremely dry and basic for €6. Got a salted caramel frappe which was OK but got a Nutella one which wasn't really cold and extremely watery. Got a cookie and peanut butter cup which were both average. Overall a disappointing lunch. Can't fault the staff, they seemed lovely. Place was very busy. Just stopped there for convenience and they had good reviews so I was expecting a much nicer lunch but I wouldn't be rushing back.

19/09/2026: I've traveled extensively and can honestly say that pizza this good outside of Italy is very hard to find—cooked to perfection, well-seasoned, and super easy to digest. Well done. The desserts didn't disappoint, but unfortunately, I was so engrossed in eating them that I didn't take a photo. We'll be back again, and next time I'll try. Thanks also to the very kind and polite waitresses.

26/08/2026: their use of AI for posters is very disappointing. not very authentic italian at all and very unsustainable

22/09/2026: Portions are laughable. Charge a few euro for guac and barely a teaspoon tossed in at the end. Also guac has seasoning, lime and at least some onion garlic and tomato. What they are making is just avocado. If I’m going to spend €3 on a teaspoon of avocado I’d expect they’d at least salt the thing. Burrito falling apart and ingredients not even spread out. Used love it here but it’s awful now, far too pricy to excuse anymore.

19/05/2026: Great cheap and fast option for food in Cork. The pizza was delicious. The menu had a nice variety of pizza options. Seating inside was limited but it is a cool place to sit and eat.

12/09/2026: Really disappointed with the coffee of recent weeks,the taste is completely different from what it was it was a sort of metallic taste from it and the foam was no existent,I noticed it the first time and I gave the benefit of the doubt but it doesn’t seem to be resolving itself,I hope management see to this for their own sake as myself and my co workers who went there every morning have gone elsewhere now,
