03/09/2026: love this place so much, always great crowd, always the best time. so disappointed with the service tonight, very snarky bartender. she talked down to us after we questioned our half filled drink. it had been served in a different glass but that wasn’t the issue, just the attitude.

20/08/2026: I went in with a few mates and I ordered a drink and they asked for my ID as to which I gave them and they took a look at it then looked at me then told me to go somewhere else even tho the ID clearly looks like me. I added the photo of my ID and a photo of me just to prove it was definitely me in this complaint

14/04/2026: The " Mahon Point Food Court " Is Very Unique But However The Atmosphere Is A Bit Crowded But Somehow The Atmosphere Is Great Not To Bad & There Isn’t Really That Much Large Crowds But The Service Is Also Helpful & Great The Staff Are Helpful & Very Easy To Communicate With The Food Is Not That Bad But It Is Great The Overall Service Of The " Mahon Point Foodcourt " Is Fine

08/03/2026: Typical food court, but the cleaning staff have to be complimented on doing a difficult job well. Also toilets are always spotless. However, very little (if anything) has been done there to properly segregate disposable food containers. For example- NO paper cups should be allowed into the general waste bins. The centre could lead the way in terms of recycling - but it hasn't tried anything like that yet

19/07/2026: Im not one to leave reviews but my experience tonight left me no choice. Delivery driver was very aggressive, blaming me for sending him to the wrong postcode. When he arrived I asked him to show me his delivery address and it was 100% my house and postcode. Again got aggressive with both me and my girlfriend. Not alone that the chips we got were more frozen then cooked. I have numerous photos if needed. Do not get delivery from this bang average chipper. Entire experience a disgrace

13/07/2026: Went down today for 2 milkshakes, the staff member on the drive through speaker asked me did I want cream on them when I said no. Went to collect at the window and 2 milkshakes were sitting there full of cream. I said to the staff member that I actually had asked for no cream and he replied "really" and said I have to wait for a new one. I told him I didn't mind as I'm allergic to cream and would have to wait anyways he threw his eyes up at me and walked away. He returned to the window with the two milkshakes clearly with new lids on them and the cream scraped off and I can still see the lumps floating in it after I told the staff member I'm allergic. I might as well have thrown the €12 in the bin rather than get an allergic reaction to it i'm absolutely appalled.

01/07/2026: Nice place to go to. I'd recommend this place. They also sell duck feed as well. Only thing, if you're a vegetarian you may or may not get a veggie option depending on who's serving. Its a bit random. I managed to get it twice but magically a day later I couldn't get it. If you can get it though the sandwich is great. Edit:

09/08/2026: Had food here with friends last night, food was delicious and huge portions! The let down was a comment made by a staff member towards one of our party. A word of foul language was used and ‘you’re not half picky are you’. Very unprofessional

10/07/2026: We had Rachel as our server for our food and drinks and she truly went above and beyond!! She recommended drinks that were fantastic and we all really enjoyed her service and personality! Truly such a lovely experience and it was only made better by Rachel. Would highly recommend this place to everyone!!

27/08/2026: Honestly not impressed with the quality, quantity,and the price for the 4 star was nuts. I wouldn't pay that in other 5 star hotels in the same county which I have worked in and stay in so am talking from experience. Staff were great,no complaints there

20/08/2026: Absolutely loved The Glasshouse. The interior is stunning — stylish, elegant and very atmospheric, with a beautiful bar and great views. The food was excellent. We especially enjoyed the pizza and the cheese board, and the cocktails were fantastic — beautifully presented and very well made. Service was friendly and attentive, and the whole place has a really nice relaxed but upscale feel. Definitely one of those places where you can comfortably spend an evening enjoying good food, cocktails and the atmosphere. A great experience from start to finish. We’ll definitely be back!

18/11/2025: Very good prices. I've been going to akira for a while now, when I want some comfort food and something that is not that expensive and fancy. The girls upstairs are amazing and give you a proper japanese experience. There are some amazing dishes like the ramen, it's not that easy to find a heavy and comfy ramen like in Akira. Usually I feel Japanese restaurants have become something superfancy that don't make you feel like home. Everything is about the rules and about expensive sushi, but Akira goes beyond that. Akira takes the typical Japanese experience and brings it to your table for a really good price. To put an example the sake is something that goes for 40€ minimum in most japanese restaurants. If I remember right, you can have bottles of Sake for less than 25 euros in Akira.And even Wine. But not only focusing on the prices .Overall Akira has made me feel like the place to go, when I'm not sure what I want and never failed for a second. Thanks to all the staff.

22/08/2026: We had a wonderful experience at Sliced today. The staff was so attentive and accommodating with our 8-month-old and helped us know a birthday surprise. The food was fantastic as always. I enjoy their pasta and pizza dishes. Very likely the best restaurant in Ballincollig. Thank you.

20/07/2026: Attended an engagement party & never seen so much unnecessary stress brought on the host by the venue. Complete lack of communication from the venue for weeks while she was trying to get simple responses about requests. Details changing last minute after no communication between staff about starting/finishing times for music, tables being reserved for other parties after different information had been given to the host. Very unorganised. Once party had been booked host was then informed that the music outdoors had to be stopped early due to residents this should have been reiterated earlier to her. To then be told you cannot reserve tables inside so people can go enjoy music indoors. Food organised from venue next door Ended up feeding another party that was also outdoors so more money had to be spent on food last minute? Just completely avoidable misinformation being based between staff and the host
