The best restaurants in Dublin

10/08/2024: Love going to Bear in Stillorgan for a quick coffee… the service is great, the product is high quality and only small issue here is the level of the noise when they are roasting the coffee beans, it’s way too loud if you are trying to have a chat with someone … obviously this wouldn’t stop me going there.

16/06/2024: Nice staff and love the dog friendly atmosphere. Just takes an age to get in and out for a takeaway cup.

17/07/2024: We hired one of the pedal buses for my hen party last weekend and had a brilliant time! It was so fun to do something different than the usual hen party activities and it also meant we were taken to different bars which we might have missed if we had been wandering round on our own. CJ was a brilliant 'pilot' - really friendly, chatty and funny and made the whole experience even better! Added bonus is you connect your phone to their speakers so can play all your own choice of music on the way round, and there's space for dancing in the middle of the bus if you're lucky enough that your friends let you off with pedalling! Just be prepared for a sore bum the next day if you're not used to cycling 🤣

24/10/2024: This place is nice with professional services. As their name implies, they are open till late at night which is quite handy for late night outers. I gave them a 4 star primarily because they sell ketchup for almost 2 euros which I feel shouldn't be so. How can you sell chips without at least one free sachet of ketchup and if the person needs more you can now demand they pay for it.... áit deas ach ní maith liom iad a mhuirearú i bhfad le haghaidh ketchup

12/10/2024: I usually go there late night for a classic bag of chips, salt and vinegar. 3.50 good chips, fast and hot. The place is clean and modern, better then the other places around

03/10/2024: Guys the toilets are a disgrace just clean them - drinks are so expensive could you not give your customers clean toilets with hand wash… also rude bar man with dreads - not cool - be sound.

01/08/2024: Lovely drinks, lovely pizza, excellent friendly staff. It's a really nice bar, looks great inside and really delivers. Great fun quiz too.

09/11/2024: I had dinner tonight with my friend. The food was really good, the service was good. We left a generous tip. We left €120 for a bill which was €105. Having seen the free Bailey's go by to other customers at the of their meal, we thought that maybe the same hospitality would be given to us But alas, no thank you for us. Had i given cash, I would have asked for my tip back.

08/11/2024: Cené esta noche con mi amigo. La comida era muy buena, el servicio era bueno. Dejamos una propina generosa. Dejamos 120€ para una factura que era de 105€. Después de haber visto los Bailey's gratis pasar a otros clientes en la comida, pensamos que tal vez la misma hospitalidad se nos daría a nosotros, pero por desgracia, no gracias por nosotros. Si hubiera dado dinero, habría pedido mi espalda.

12/10/2024: I had walked past Insomnia last night on the way to the Supervalu and spotted this. Since my hotel stay did not include breakfast, I popped out this morning for coffee and a pastry. Friendly barista took my order and a few moments later, my order was called out. I spent an hour at Insomnia this morning sitting in the corner with my laptop. Yes, their free wifi worked well with my flat white and chocolate croissant. The coffee was very good and the croissant was also very good. The space is comfortable with a variety of seating options. A number of work meetings happened while I watched and surfed the Internet.

09/09/2024: Coffee is great but the sandwiches were several days old, bread was stale. Surely they can make some fresh sandwiches, especially for that price. The treats looked days old also, but I didn’t try them.

05/11/2024: The cutest cafe! They are always quick and efficient and really friendly and the coffee is good. It's a lovely place, just very small and better for take away.

29/10/2024: When you pay premium prices you expect premium drinks and premium service. Drinks are nice, but this place has regular issues with slow service, even on nights that are not busy. Most recently there was a delay seating us, there was a delay giving us menus (we had to get them ourselves) there was a delay ordering (we had to go to the bar ourselves) all on a pretty quiet night. The drinks eventually came, and there was not an ounce of pleasantness, never mind an apology, from the server. We would have liked a second drink, but seen as no one seemed bothered to serve us we paid the bill and left. And is not the first time we've experienced this. Certain staff simply dont care for their jobs, therefore I no longer care to spend money there.

29/10/2024: Terrible service, especially for a cocktail bar. Waitress gave us water but never bothered with menus, we had to get them ourselves. We also had to go up and order the drinks ourselves at the bar (which shocked the bartender who said it was table service). Evetually the waitress delivered our drink with barely a word, never mind an apology. For a place that prides itself on its cocktails and service this place is very lackluster.

22/10/2024: It is a very nice place to go for lunch. The food was very nice, it exceeded my expectations to be honest as it was my first time at Eathos. The service was good and the prices are normal. Definitely a place to repeat.

15/10/2024: Staff was tad bit rude during lunch service. Were told to ‘go to our table’ even though we politely said (thrice) that we were just looking at the food display. Cherry on top was finding a hair in my soup, which was replaced but still had to pay. Sandwich was un-toasted with sparse filling. Was embarrassed to bring my colleague here for lunch. Highly disappointed!!

26/10/2024: Very nice local pub. Gorgeous food and drink, beautiful decor and great staff. Clara was amazing! ❤️

13/10/2024: It was incredibly quiet and nice before the lunch arrivals they had a really nice menu and a carvery lunch available likely waiting further 1 pm arrival. Lots of seating in different locations in the room offering hideaway options with a large bar in the middle. Toilet access was downstairs from the eating area and also down there was like a celebration/ party / group area with outdoor seating
