The best restaurants in Dublin

20/11/2025: I absolutely loved Crowbar during my trip to Dublin. The atmosphere inside was welcoming and the bartenders were friendly. The prices are reasonable. I didn't go to the nightclub section of the bar, but according to a friend, it's pretty good. I recommend it!

02/11/2025: Accidentally spilled my pint after 30 seconds of buying it. Explained the bartender that it was a mistake and asked if maybe she could replace it. Instead she nastly said “you have to pay again, obviously” in a mean manner. Like I understand that but that was not nice to respond in such demeanour, especially the “obviously” part. Other bars would have replaced it for free.

09/07/2026: The food was delicious, the people were so kind and helpful, and the atmosphere was amazing. I would definitely recommend coming here!

30/06/2026: Food was amazing! Got the carrot cake and ceaser salad and both were fresh and flavorful.

10/07/2026: Proper Dublin boozer. Immaculate pints and a Proper pub feeling. It has rejected trendy fads and is a place for a pint and newspaper or some drinking in memorial of a friend who has passed.

16/06/2026: €7.50 for a pint. The guy wanted the money the second he handed me the beer. Relax, mate, let me at least find out if I like it first

29/07/2026: Good Chinese , delivery was fast and food very hot . Satay chicken skewers very nice , and salt and chili chicken balls were also good . Asked for extra veg but got barely any but it was still good . Ordered Szechuan beef but I got some sort of chicken dish instead but it was still good anyways .

15/09/2026: The perfect example of modern multiculturalism. Staff who don't speak the same language all arguing over an issue that they can't understand. Half cold half hot sandwiches. Long waits without queues. Love it, let's have more

13/09/2026: Terrible experience, I visited on a 12 September Saturday morning around 9. There was male and female in the service. Quite a racism they don’t want to serve us it looked like after a quite a sometime of waiting in the counter alone the boy came and took the order no thanks no talking at all and the girl didn’t even look while serving and pushed the tray at us quite a bad experience

08/09/2026: Really lovely Costa Coffee. The coffee is always good, and it’s a nice, relaxed place to pop in for a coffee or a bite to eat. It’s convenient being close to home, so it’s become a handy local spot for breakfast or just a quick coffee. Always enjoy coming here! ☕️😊

28/09/2026: Ordered an espresso martini and a margarita at the bar and the bartender rolled his eyes at us. We had to keep our eyes on him to make sure he didn’t spit in our drink. Customer suggestion: If cocktails take too much effort for your establishment then perhaps you should consider taking it off the menu.

19/09/2026: Waited at the bar as the bartender talked people at the bar and continued to do glasses. He then served someone who arrived at the bar after me a pint of Heineken. He told me to wait a moment and continued to do glasses as he told me to continue to wait to order as he put glasses back from the dishwasher. He then left the bar empty with myself and another waiting to order. When he came back he ignored us and continued chatting with the initial group at the bar gathering more glasses to to place back on the bar. On a Friday night at 9 o'clock to not be ready to take orders in a bar is awful to be frank. We waited 5 minutes with no one ordering for no service whatsoever. I don't know what the management is like in this bar to allow this service. It is non existent and as far from what an Irish bar experience should be anywhere in the world never mind on the corner of the capital in temple bar. You are shaming Irish hospitality and an entire industry that the area relys on with this behavior.

09/07/2026: A real gem on the North side of Dublin.Prices are average, staff are great , toilets are spotless , smoking area at back of pub. No Giant screens so you can catch up with friends. The product is excellent. 👍 Going in when Croke Park is open may not be a good idea, however there is a huge area outside Gaffney's to meet up...

28/06/2026: We booked a table for brunch at 11am, only to discover upon arrival that there is a gap between 11 and 12 during which neither breakfast nor lunch is served — something nobody mentioned at the time of booking. We waited nearly half an hour before being brought a handful of small pastry bites and scones. We had ordered two servings of pastries, and what arrived was five modest little bites between us. When we queried this, we were told it was indeed for two people, yet the tables around us were receiving noticeably more generous and varied spreads. The impression was that we had simply been given whatever was left over. A bottle of water at €9.50 and cappuccinos at €6 each would be easier to stomach if the coffee were actually well made — it wasn't. Service was slow throughout, and the outdoor seating, rather than being a pleasant bonus, featured a loose blind repeatedly hitting the stonework for the duration of our visit. For a five-star establishment, this fell well short.

15/08/2026: Sweet suffering jesus. Do not go here. Genuinely the worst meal of my life. Duck rolls were cold in the middle, stone cold but I gave them a pass hoping the main course would be better. Turned out it was significantly worse. Fatty beef rolled in dried chilli. Blew the mouth off me. Asked if they could just wipe the dried chilli off. Somehow it came back worse. Then the ultimate annoyance, when we tried to leave having tipped (bizarrely Irish), the door handle had broken and needed a staff member to reattach in order to let customers leave. Absolutely awful.

16/08/2026: The drinks are excellent, but the burger was very small compared to the sandwich and also badly cooked, the piadina was just salad and also gone bad, disappointing.
