The best restaurants in Dublin

23/07/2026: I was disappointed with the service I received at Avoca Monkstown. The Asian lady serving me was very rude and had no manners. There was no hello or acknowledgement when I arrived, and while I was waiting to be served, she was talking to another colleague. When I asked about my receipt, I was spoken to in a very rude tone and told, “I’ll give it back when it’s ready.” I was simply asking for my receipt and was not demanding to be served immediately. I believe customers should be treated with basic courtesy and respect. Unfortunately, the attitude I experienced made the whole visit very unpleasant.

05/09/2025: Amazing service. Called in at 9.20am needing 2 new tyres. Sadly, they didn't have the size I required in stock but said they could get them for lunchtime. I was given 4 or 5 different options and made a decision on a couple of Pirelli's. Gráinne called at 3pm to say the tyres were in, I took the car round and had them fitted quickly and efficiently. Price was very reasonable too. Gráinne is a star!

23/07/2026: The food is great the service is a little slow though There is an option for unlimited kbbq for 35 euros p/p. I think it's a bit pricey, but worth it if it is your first time eating Korean food. Would come back

21/07/2026: Disasterous service!! One Star too many. Waited 40 minutes to be told meal i ordered wasnt available. Absolutely no apology only told to order something else. Wrong meal was then brought to table and was refused eventually got correct meal however were charged for wrong meal that was brought to table. Asked to speak to manager and no manager was working. Staff extremely dismissive and disrespectful.

22/06/2026: Such a pleasant experience. Was in your store today and was greeted by a staff member Mac. He was very knowledgeable of the menu and gave great recommendations and we ended up with the midweek treat and a diablo which was amazing to say the least. Will be back weekly for sure. Brilliant 👏

18/05/2026: Good music, good place, good drinks. The only problem we had was with the blond staff member you encounter when they check your entry at the door (once you're already inside). Around 1 a.m., we left the club for a while, and then, when we were about to go back in, this guy started yelling at us because we'd gone into the wrong queue, and he forced us to queue with the people who hadn't yet entered. When we finally got inside, he complained that we had entered through a staff-only entrance (which wasn't marked at any point), he yelled at us again and made us queue all over again. Everything else was fine; I recommend the place, had a good time, but be careful with some of the staff.

07/04/2026: The music is good, but it's very hot, with no ventilation, making the environment extremely unhealthy.

31/05/2026: Don’t bother. Ordered a chicken kebab tray why did i open it to see some rubbish piece of chicken goujons chopped up with chips and a load of cheese on top. Nowhere near what a kebab should be. Absolute shambles of a place. The man taking the orders looked like we're disturbing his downtime so be ready for some uncomfortable customer experience

16/05/2026: Bottomless pit, fries are raw, burgers too, meat is partly green. Crazy place.

13/06/2026: Food is usually tasty, but they’ve gotten my order wrong or forgotten items multiple times.

09/06/2026: Love this Wowburger tucked into the pub. I regularly take my girlfriend here for little dates when we are passing by. The food is always good and the atmosphere inside the pub is great. Usually we have our food within twenty minutes of ordering and we never miss the garlic butter fries.

13/07/2026: Really great spot for breakfast. Great breakfast. Plenty to eat. Lovely friendly service. Pleasant and comfortable. Just one downside... Why serve the(lovely and fresh) orange juice in single use plastic containers? For the rest - perfect!

05/07/2026: Potential is off the charts for this place but unfortunately not up to scratch ,went and after delay from the phil lynott lookalike forgot about us and despite only 10 people in the place waited 45 mins for 2 breakfasts which were supposed to be large I bacon 2 small catering sausages 2 eggs a spoon full of beans and a piece of white pudding that was as thick as a photo the lady when questioned by another customer who asked had she forgotten about him when his wife had her food 20 minutes before him replied how dare you added to this that Phil lynott would forget his own name means avoid this place at all costs go to spar across the road

04/08/2025: Delicious ramens, relaxed and kind service. The decorations give a bit of a Japanese atmosphere. Excellent place, would recommend them from the bottom of my heart! Thank you very much! ♥️

27/07/2025: Sushi was good. However, Ramen did not taste nice, broth had no flavour, beef was not fresh. The waitress said she will tell the chef but no commercial gesture, nothing was done. Edit (Reply to owner): I did finish the broth as I hate wasting food and I was very hungry. However, please bear in mind the beef tasted almost rotten. No attempt was made by the staff to fix the issue. We will not be back. Your reply is unprofessional given the experience we had.

09/07/2026: I love the spice bag from here, they have the option with prawns! Always fresh, spicy and very tasty !

19/03/2026: Had the best night at Vermilion the food was amazing, service brilliant, 2 lovely guys looking after us , the place is spotless, had family with us from Manchester they were very impressed one said it was the best curry he ever dad highly recommended this restaurant 10 out of 10 for everything regards Liz Maher

17/05/2026: This has to be the most professionaly run bar I have been in a long time. I was there with family on a very busy day and the management and especially the floor staff guys were so patient and helpful to any wishes on the day. If you want to experience a bar of this caliber then go to the Wishing Well. You won't regret it 👋
