The best restaurants in Dublin

10/12/2025: Terrible attitude and service.And the response even got my surname wrong.What happened was I got a phone shoved in my face to show my booking wasn't accepted.A simple no would have been fine.I will be in touch with the Embassy to ask about the behaviour.

16/11/2025: NOT RECOMMENDED! READ UPDATE BELOW. My original review still stands: Simple chicken chop suey with fried rice for 15.50, trays half empty, taste nothing special, overpriced compared to other similar takeaways charging around 10 for larger portions. EDIT – Gave them a second chance after several years. Result: another disappointment. Food: very plain and salty. Some peppers and cabbage in the chop suey tasted not fresh. Fried noodles: I ordered fried noodles, not bean sprouts with a bit of noodles. The ratio was basically 50/50, which makes no sense. Service: No napkins, no chopsticks, no cutlery, no receipt. Just two trays in a paper bag. For a place charging premium prices, this feels careless. Price vs quality: I paid 16.50 this time. For what I got, it’s simply a bad choice. Final score: 1/10. Not recommended.

23/08/2025: A great spot for coffee and hearty food while catching up with friends and family! Lasagne today was amazing, the team working there are always super friendly :)

23/08/2025: Had the nicest breakfast with my husband today and honestly, the food was sooo good! We went for some crispy potato hash and a sunshine protein bowl – such a perfect combo to start the day. The coffee was amazing too, rich and smooth ☕😍 And I have to say, the service was super friendly, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable.

19/12/2025: Good and cozy place for a few drinks in the city center, well located and cheap compared to Dublin Pubs prices.

17/12/2025: Overall: would recommend if you want a good, simple, cheap breakfast. We arrived to a half full place on a Wednesday morning 10ish and found a cleared table next to the kitchen. We ordered to the table through the website and paid online without any issue. We ordered the large irish breakfast for €9.20 and the vegetarian breakfast for €4.95 + €1.50 pp for free refill lavazza coffee. Total came to 17€ for two people. We waited around 20 minutes for the food, which i think is okay, and as we sat next to the kitchen, we saw how busy they are and trying their best to serve everyone. The black haired girl serving and cleaning tables have been amazing. If you are looking for an easy-going, good, cheap and comfortable place, this is it :)

05/12/2025: Got delivery tonight, we were very happy with the quality of the food! And delighted the driver came right up to our building, as people often don’t for apartment blocks. Unfortunately our duck pancakes didnt come with pancakes… which was quite disappointing. We also requested no mangetout in our sweet and sour chicken, but it still came with it, but that’s very minor. Will order again, but maybe check our delivery bag before taking it.

23/11/2025: Not recommended at all. The food was low quality; I'd be better off making it at home. They didn't have white wine—how can they not have white wine on a Saturday night when they are the most busiest? Unbelievable. The music was very loud; it felt more like a bar than a restaurant. Everyone was shouting, and I could barely talk to the person next to me. I'm giving it one star because I can't give it zero. I didn't eat comfortably at all, and I only stayed because I was hungry. To top it all off, the pasta carbonara is supposed to have pancetta, but it wasn't even bacon. The prices are cheap for Dublin, but I wouldn't pay €5 for a dish there. I think that's clear.

22/11/2025: We went on a special occasion, our 16th anniversary, and to be honest was a disappointment. We arrived and the place was very cold, it was a rainy day, heaters were off and people were wearing their jackets. Noticed heater was turned on only much time later. It doesn't feel like a restaurant more like a fast food chain, staff didn't really pay attention, they just seemed all in a hurry to do everything, you feel the pressure to make your order. My husband got the gnocchi and I got the fennel ragu. My pasta was ok, the gnocchi was very blandz it was supposed to be the mushroom but there were none. And gnocchi portion is very small. For starter we took arancini and the bruschetta. When you order a bruschetta you think it might come maybe three small pieces, it's a bruschetta but no, it comes only one small slice of bread for 8 euros, super overpriced. In the end not a very nice experience, not coming back and can't recommend.

14/12/2025: Ordered for delivery and a burger was freezing cold. Rang to say this and they offered a new burger but Jesus I shouldn’t have bothered the delivery driver arrived absolutely fuming. 😂😂😂

19/09/2025: Hubby and myself had a rare morning off together so we popped in for breakfast. Food was really nice and staff were so friendly. I'll definitely be back.

20/06/2025: The service was below expectations. There was no Wi-Fi available, and it was unclear who was managing the facility. Overall, a disappointing experience.

09/09/2025: Nice pub, didn't have food, its very good by all accounts. Dog friendly which more pubs wirh beer gardens need to be.

14/07/2025: Great food, good beer, and friendly staff. Nice pub. Kitchen closed after 6:00 PM.

14/11/2025: Breakfast was great but £7.50 on the bill for 2 tea's is a bit 2 much and extras £4 for 2 slices of toast!

09/11/2025: The best cafe in Dun Laoghaire and the fact that it is always busy is testament to this. Very good coffee and a wide selection of breakfast/brunch/lunch dishes to suit all diets.

17/09/2025: Always Good food every day. A choice of 4 or more of Main meal in various sizes are available every day. Service is fast and friendly. Can be busy at peak time but I always find a seat.

11/12/2025: We had our daughters birthday party there this evening. What a great place, great prices and the 32” pizza was unreal. The staff are legends 👌

25/05/2025: It was surprisingly nice! We went at random google search. But the Food was so good! It’s an Italian cafe, they bake fresh ciabatta and it’s so nice! We tried Spicy Chicken & Bacon Sandwich, Lemon Cake & Apple Pie and everything was just gorgeous! And all fresh ingredients… Definitely recommend!

13/05/2025: Fix your Google Maps Opening Hours. Second time we came and it's closed. Writing this on Tuesday @16:42 in front of the store.
