29/11/2025: Paid for fast priority delivery came in over a hour? Missing pineapple and kiwi in açai bowl that I paid for just said on receipt no pineapple sorry witch does not make sense because I paid for it I didn’t get anything for my money and missing drink delivery driver couldn’t speak the best of English and said he did not have a number for the coffee drop I paid €32 euro for 2 açai bowls with wrong toppings and a drink horrible service 👍

05/06/2025: The Melon Martini cocktail was overly sweet and lacked balance. On the bright side, the appetizer—a goat cheese tartine with fig and prosciutto—was outstanding: flavorful, well-seasoned, and beautifully presented. The cod was cooked to the right texture but unfortunately quite bland. The pancetta dish also leaned too sweet, and the accompanying cream lacked depth of flavor. The Garden Room itself is bright and airy with a lovely view, and the staff were excellent—attentive and welcoming.

26/10/2025: Moved to Kiliney/Ballybrack 2 months ago and still sorting bits and bobs in the kitchen so Ive been (quickly) exploring Kambo's menu. The highlight for me is the Beef and Blackbean, but the ribs are a close second. The salt and chili chicken has brought me back to life many sunday afternoons. The szechuan sauce as a side is goregous and a shade better than when combined with a main dish (for whatever reason). Out of 40+ orders, I had an issue with 1 and it was quickly rectified without fuss despite me only mentioning it

21/12/2025: We visited this restaurant for a Christmas party about two weeks ago. We booked a table for 10 people and were clearly told at the time of booking that it would not be a problem if fewer people turned up. We paid a €100 deposit. On the night, 7 people attended. We ordered the 3-course set menu for everyone, plus a lot of additional drinks and desserts, so the final spend was well above the set menu price (around €45 pp). Unfortunately, the experience was very poor: • Instead of prosecco, we were served a still wine with no bubbles, in a wine glass. When we asked to change it, staff insisted it was prosecco. • Medium-rare steaks arrived well done. • Coffee ordered with desserts was forgotten and never brought. • When the bill arrived, only €70 of the €100 deposit was deducted, with the explanation that fewer people attended. We explained again that it was agreed in advance that fewer people might come, and that we had ordered plenty of extra food and drinks anyway. Staff claimed this policy was written on their website. When I politely asked them to show where this was stated, they could not. At that point, the waitress became aggressive and accused me of being rude, despite my calm tone. Eventually, they came back with a reduced bill. To top it off, another waiter approached our table and told me: “You are not welcome in our restaurant anymore.” Completely unprofessional behaviour, poor service, and unacceptable customer treatment. I would not return and would not recommend this place.

10/12/2025: Lovely restaurant, cosy atmosphere, I’ve been there twice in a group of 20 people for Christmas dinner by 6pm. I had duck roll, grilled sea bass and tiramisu. Food was tasty, service was fast and attentive. I recommend that!

30/10/2025: Being a long term Eddie’s fan, our meal in Dundrum today has put me off returning. The food was well below the usual standard; the chips were undercooked, the side of cheese sauce was cold, the chicken fillet burger was thrown together sloppily and served on a small side plate, the chicken tender bun was inedible and the usually delicious chocolate malts were not chocolatey and had lumps of malt in them. Very sloppy all round. We tried to visit the ladies bathrooms but had to turn around and leave as they were beyond disgusting - blocked toilets, broken flushes, cracked seats etc. I spoke to the supervisor to express my disappointment. This restaurant is not cheap, it feels run down and sadly I feel it’ll go out of business soon.

07/10/2025: I would like to make a complaint about a very disappointing experience at your café. The staff member who served us was extremely rude and unprofessional, behaving as if she was doing us a favor instead of providing customer service. We really enjoy your coffee, but this kind of attitude completely ruins the experience. I hope management takes this seriously and ensures proper customer service training for the staff involved.

27/09/2025: The place is so nice and has lots of variety of beverages and food as well. The staff is so unfriendly and grumpy! No smiles at all , I didn’t feel very comfortable there.

29/11/2025: Interior looks well. Menu reasonable for a bar. Our tables had been pre booked and our orders were taken confidently by a waitress. Some food arrived eventually, some so much later that everyone else had finished their food. The drinks arrived sporadically some only after further requests. There was a lack of politeness throughout the service. There was no attempt to apologise only blaming the girl who took the order, “nothing to do with me”. In reply to a request for compensation as I had waited almost a hour and a half for a sandwich the barman said the owner had taken the orders and suggested I ring her.

26/11/2025: There was a large group of us and we were looked after so we'll! Cannot compliment the staff enough! Food was tasty too 😋
