The best restaurants in Dublin

13/10/2024: The service was poor and they didn't give the receipt that we asked for. The sandwich that was supposed to have cheddar cheese it didn't have it. The cake slice of caramel salted with chocolate, didn't taste at all to salted caramel but more to chocolate and not even the chocolate was good, and this slice of cake was too much dry. We also asked for 2 small hazeel maple drinks, and they gave 1 medium and 1 small. The drink was tasty. Also we don't think it would be right for there to be 3 people at the counter, two of them speaking in their native language and the other person being left out, shouldn't everyone speak in English during working hours?!

25/09/2024: I think the worst part is they serve people and give them trays without even seeing if they have enough spaces for people to sit. What do they expect us to do with a tray of drink and food when there's no available seats? I'd say the costumer has to see that as they walk in, but apparently they decided to close off an entire room which left a lot of people stranded. Drinks and food was okay.

10/06/2024: Excellent place for Take away!! I love the fried chips!! They are really delicious!! Ask for them with vinegar!! The meal deals are around 10€ The burger is ok and the popcorn chicken is really good

04/10/2024: Ordered pizza at 18 hrs. Wrong order arrived at 19 hrs, rang and explained. I was told order would be fulfilled in 30 min. After numerous phone calls and interactions with store correct pizza arrived 2.5 hours late. Very disappointing.

20/07/2024: Staff lovely breakfast was delicious great value for money only downside extra hot coffee doesn't come extra hot it was more luke warm but staff are great and topped it up with heat in it Ate there again this morning highly recommend the place great value for money and food is delicious

07/07/2024: Spent around €25. We got a burger to share, chips, and buffalo tenders. Was all really nice, the burger got a bit messy but that’s understandable. The buffalo sauce just tasted hot sauce and could’ve used a unique taste but over all was lovely and will be back

15/09/2024: 日曜の夜19時半頃伺いました。店内が狭いため20分ほど待ちました。 担当してくれた店員のサービスは良いとは言えませんでしたが、料理はボリューミーかつ美味しかったです。 会計時伝票の値段から勝手にチップを上乗せされ、断っても「日本人はほとんど払ってくれる」などとしつこく言われるので、チップを払わざるを得ませんでした。 その店員にバッグを踏まれたのに謝られなかったりした事があってチップを払いたくなかったので、悔しい気持ちで退店しました…。

11/09/2024: A nice small friendly good food restaurant. In the center of Temple bar area. Make reservation early. Otherwise you will wait. We loved this place. Recommend it.

28/05/2024: I have been in Dublin for a week and I found this wonderful pub, where I felt at "home". From the waiter (the red-haired guy😊😊) who served me every day, to the owner, who, without knowing me, invited me to try their fantastic whisky made by them. The pub is huge and they do celebrations, it's beautiful, with a fireplace and the decoration we expect from an Irish pub, authentic. And I don't forget the regular customers who welcomed me and made the effort to understand me and get to know me, as I speak little English and even less Irish. The pub became my school, and the customers my best teachers and friends, all accompanied by a pint of Guinness !!!! I hope to go back to Dublin and go back to the pub, because I couldn't say goodbye to the people, although I would have been very sad, and I prefer the reunions, so I "threaten to go back" 🤣🤣🤣🤣. From Barcelona and with all my love. I would like to say that the Irish people are special and welcoming and I will see you as soon as I can. A big kiss to all of you, Maria.

06/11/2024: Sunday 3rd November I went into the store for a meal. The first thing I’ve noticed when stepping inside was the extremely strong smell of bleach. We ordered food and sat down. The smell of bleach was still very strong. When I sat down, I was sitting for less than a minute until I decided to take my coat off. The food came and it was nice, no complaints at all about the food. A few minutes after we started eating the girls had to open the door due to the smell of bleach. They were also speaking VERY loudly in Romanian which we knew as we are from Romania too. We finished eating and I went to put my coat back on me when my daughter noticed that there were bleach stains all over my €400 almost new Karen Millen coat. It was VERY obvious that it was due to the cleaning that was done in the store before we entered due to the very strong smell of bleach. I went to the counter to complain to the manager. That was when I was met with the most shocking and appalling behaviour and attitude from THE STORE MANAGER. She went by the name Georgiana. She did not at all take accountability for the use of bleach on the tables when it was VERY OBVIOUS that it was used. Her apron was COVERED in bleach stains yet she stood her ground and said that no bleach was used, even when the store had an extremely strong smell of bleach when entering. She was no help at all, when I asked for her managers phone number she said she was the manager and that she was in charge of every problem related to the store. She was saying things along the lines of ‘what do you want me to do? Take money from the till and give it to you ?’ As well as saying ‘we are opened until 5pm today’ when telling her that I wouldn’t leave until a resolution was given. Her attitude towards me and this situation was absolutely disgusting and appalling and I have no idea how she came to be a store manager if THIS is how she deals with problems that arise due to a fault of her employees. She ended up contacting her manager and I briefly spoke to her on the phone and I was promised that the manager would call me back but I haven’t received a call back. If I knew that I was going to ruin my €400 coat and also be treated with so much disrespect and attitude by the STORE MANAGER, I wouldn’t have went there. What would have happened if a family with a child sat down at that table and that child happened to have licked the table that was previously cleaned with bleach on it ? Absolutely appalling behaviour and attitude from the manager like I’ve never ever came across before with absolutely no accountability being taken for something that obviously they were at fault for. Will not be going to that store again.

06/10/2024: Not worth the price, food was not spectacular. Food was prepared fast, but eggs from microwave is maybe not for me.
