09/11/2025: I wanted to give it 0 stars, but you can’t give 0 stars, so I’m rating it a 1. My friend and I were looking forward to going to this cafe after seeing on TikTok, we had even waited for them to open. It was a very uncomfortable experience from the start. The waitress told us to wait outside until she allowed us in, and when she did - the lights were still switched off. Even being the first ones there she very rudely told us to sit down at the first table. We had planned to study at the cafe as we heard people had done that before, but she told us that she can’t hold the table for us to study and this was the only table we could sit at. She was behaving very hostile and rude towards us and it was such an uncomfortable experience, we left immediately. The service was extremely horrible, do better next time! We can’t believe that we were treated like this, we had such high expectations, we never thought we’d be treated so poorly by the waitress especially at a cafe in Dublin.

07/11/2025: Totally unpleasant experience. Greeted by rude unsmiling unfriendly staff members. I have just taken out a family membership, love the museum but am shocked by the rude sullen indifference of the staff in the café. We complained at the museum reception front desk, and were promptly told it was nothing to do with them as it's run by a separate entity. Shocking.

16/10/2025: Lovely place, great service. The restaurant in great with excellent space and location. Good options in the menu and food was amazing. Recommended.

12/10/2025: Visited here with my partner and baby. He ordered Lasagna, the lasagna was stone cold in the middle with hard cheese on top. We had to return it to the kitchen and he felt stomach turned so didn’t request new food. I ordered fish and chips, the chips were nice but the fish was slimy and wet, I thought this was normal as it was hot right through. I felt so sick shortly after my food for the whole night. So disappointing…. We also waited 30 mins for a menu my partner had to go twice and ask, also left waiting 5 mins on knifes and forks. Awful food and service.

16/08/2025: I have never wanted to orgasam more eating a spice bag it was PERFECTLY crispy and the chicken was cooked well but yet so tender and the curry and sweet and sour sauce did wonders for my taste buds 10/10 please try x

28/11/2025: Good food. Great atmosphere. Awesome staff. And for a table of 20 people they refused to split the bill. Like at all. Not even in groups of 5. And they didn’t communicate beforehand that they don’t do that. Just not ok.

12/11/2025: Food was very yummy. It is refreshing to find vegeterian options where the tofu actually tastes like it was cooked with care. Price was also reasonable. Looking forward to ordering again in the future

11/10/2025: First time ordering from Tokyo Kitchen and it was awful. The oyakodon was all wrong, the chicken was deep fried instead of pan fried and was tough instead of tender. The egg was overcooked when it should be soft and runny. The karaage chicken was no better, covered in thick batter with tough meat inside. Definitely not authentic Japanese food. Really disappointing and wouldn’t recommend at all.

07/12/2025: This was a magnificent meal.Simply the best fish and chips I have ever eaten in Ireland in the 3 years I have lived here!The service was great and friendly too.ill be back soon!Many thanks.

29/11/2025: We came here today and got very disappointed with the food Ordered steak and chips and a burguer. Burguer was burned and steak came just 6 slim slices. This is too expensive for what was offered.(28 eur for it). The fries were soggy and al food in general werel very salty. We came here other times and was good but after this experience we are not coming back. Menu also changed, so not returning.

21/10/2025: Lovely place friendly staff and customers. Only our second time here and we're made to feel like locals. Keep doing what you're doing it's working.

07/10/2025: I would like to make a complaint about a very disappointing experience at your café. The staff member who served us was extremely rude and unprofessional, behaving as if she was doing us a favor instead of providing customer service. We really enjoy your coffee, but this kind of attitude completely ruins the experience. I hope management takes this seriously and ensures proper customer service training for the staff involved.

27/09/2025: The place is so nice and has lots of variety of beverages and food as well. The staff is so unfriendly and grumpy! No smiles at all , I didn’t feel very comfortable there.

18/10/2025: I came to have a cappuccino after a good walk at the park. Very friendly staff but in other hand, the coffee wasn't the best. The barista burned the milk while steamed it for more than enough time to create the foam. My cappuccino was so hot that burned my tongue.

20/07/2025: The documentary on Mairéad Farrell was both sad and poignant. She was a pretty and intelligent girl who ventured down the wrong path, since violence will never resolve any issue. Mairéad should have been united with the late John Hume's ideology, dedicated to peace. If not, she should have moved from Belfast to Dublin. This is an old conflict that I hope will be resolved.

23/08/2025: A great spot for coffee and hearty food while catching up with friends and family! Lasagne today was amazing, the team working there are always super friendly :)

23/08/2025: Had the nicest breakfast with my husband today and honestly, the food was sooo good! We went for some crispy potato hash and a sunshine protein bowl – such a perfect combo to start the day. The coffee was amazing too, rich and smooth ☕😍 And I have to say, the service was super friendly, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable.

19/12/2025: Good and cozy place for a few drinks in the city center, well located and cheap compared to Dublin Pubs prices.

17/12/2025: Overall: would recommend if you want a good, simple, cheap breakfast. We arrived to a half full place on a Wednesday morning 10ish and found a cleared table next to the kitchen. We ordered to the table through the website and paid online without any issue. We ordered the large irish breakfast for €9.20 and the vegetarian breakfast for €4.95 + €1.50 pp for free refill lavazza coffee. Total came to 17€ for two people. We waited around 20 minutes for the food, which i think is okay, and as we sat next to the kitchen, we saw how busy they are and trying their best to serve everyone. The black haired girl serving and cleaning tables have been amazing. If you are looking for an easy-going, good, cheap and comfortable place, this is it :)

05/12/2025: Got delivery tonight, we were very happy with the quality of the food! And delighted the driver came right up to our building, as people often don’t for apartment blocks. Unfortunately our duck pancakes didnt come with pancakes… which was quite disappointing. We also requested no mangetout in our sweet and sour chicken, but it still came with it, but that’s very minor. Will order again, but maybe check our delivery bag before taking it.
