The best restaurants in Dublin

29/03/2025: Literally ordered over two hours ago. Apparently it is already there. It is not. I actually don't care anymore I just want my money back.

19/04/2025: We had a DIY breakfast, all good, really nice sourdough bread. Also had an open ultimate sandwich. It was excellent. Nice staff, nice bright environment (admittedly it was a nice sunny day).

11/04/2025: Old musky pub, right up my alley. Walked in and the place was very quiet, decent guinnes and within an hour 8 or 9 aul lads with a mix of instruments doing a trad session, it was unbelievable and they then invited regulars who wanted to sing to belt one out. Will definitely be back on Friday nights.

21/02/2025: Had a lovely night in grace’s, there was 4 of us and the service we got from the bar staff was just fantastic,they couldn’t do enough for us, Guinness was the best we ever had. We will be returning very soon.

16/04/2025: Service has been poor the last few times I have been there. I went in for brunch one day and we were the only people in the restaurant, and there were staff buzzing around but after 15 minutes nobody even came over to give us water, so we left. I was there last weekend and our server was much better. Ordered Eggs Benedict and was asked if we wanted the eggs soft medium or hard, we both said soft. When the food came it was an extremely small portion with very small muffins used which I think may have been frozen. My eggs were extremely hard and overcooked while my parters were soft. The dish cost €14.50. it's a long time since I felt so short changed by a meal. I live in the area but will not be going back.

29/01/2025: Friendly staff, good cup size for their cappuccino. Nice atmosphere and definitely up to Costa standards. The floor is somewhat dirty. The restroom is dirty, though.

24/01/2025: This Costa is in a great location but so overpriced. My main problem is with management or lack of training. The staff are beyond inefficient. The tables and chairs are filthy, no tidy up, the queue is crazy, 3 staff behind the counter and they just cannot seem to get a good system going. No serviettes, no spoons. Beyond frustrating. Sandwiches are great but it would be cheaper sometimes to eat in a restaurant!!

11/04/2025: Nice take away halal restaurant serving fast food, doner and pizzas. There pizzas are really good. Very friendly and helpful staff.

17/04/2025: Good chocolate but customer service left a lot to desire. Cashier not engaged with customers at all, asked him a question and he just blanked us, stood there just took the money and that’s it. Might as well just have a self service machine as he didn’t bring anything to our experience. Hire people with social skills

28/12/2024: This little gem is outdoors in Fernhill park near Stepaside. It's parked beside the old house which hopefully will be restored before it falls down. We just had hot chocolate and coffees. Service was welcoming, polite, efficient. Lots of seating on well maintained picnic benches. Excellent set up for waste/recycling of cups etc. There is an added bonus of price reduction if you bring your own cup. Prices are very reasonable though. Lovely people!

06/04/2025: Ok diner but needed a spruce up. Staff looked tired but trying and bathroom not good. Food ok but shortened menu from other chains.

02/12/2024: Workers follow you around in every aisle and make you extremely uncomfortable… stay away from this shop. There are many better Asian markets In town.

14/03/2025: Costa Coffee in Inchicore is a handy spot if you need a quick coffee or a place to sit for a while. It’s the usual Costa setup—plenty of seating, a mix of regulars and people passing through, and a relaxed enough atmosphere. The coffee is consistent, and there’s a good selection of snacks and sandwiches if you’re hungry. Service is generally quick, though it can get busy at times. If you’re after a reliable cup of coffee in the area, it does the job.

07/12/2024: We called ahead to get a last minute table with our baby and were surprised at how lovely and accommodating the staff were even though they were busy with Christmas parties bustling in. We had just been asked to leave Harry Byrnes, (we didn’t realise they no longer serve food and are over 21s) so the friendly welcome in out of the rain was so appreciated. The gentleman from Village Pizza had organised a table for us in the pub, with plenty of space for the pram and a high chair. We ordered two pizzas which were so delicious. There was a bit of a wait but I’m not surprised and they were well worth it. Best pizza we’ve had, really hit the spot. Perfectly cooked with a beautiful chewy crust. Cannot wait to go back. Thanks for a lovely experience

08/03/2025: Cannot recommend Oscars enough. The food is lovely but the staff are even better. So welcoming and genuine. Perfect spot to get away from work and grab breakfast or lunch

16/04/2025: Food was absolutely delicious, portion sizes were great, good size for the price. Staff was lovely and service was very efficient. Would definitely go back for another meal
