28/09/2026: Well if I could but a 0 star I would The food was so average & the portion size was a joke, we got 2 large piece of chicken in one dish, also the papadums were a large back of broken pieces and the dips was at a push I tablespoon,as for the chips a large back with 20 frozen cold chips in bag no joke we payed 53 euro for this amount of food for my Special birthday, Never again

09/09/2026: I’ve been here several times and have had a really good experience every time. The food is full of flavour and cooked really well. Definitely one of the better Indian restaurants I’ve tried in Ireland.

11/07/2026: Sticky floors, wall-to-wall match day programmes, tourists should visit on any GAA match day in Croke Park just to sample the atmosphere. Rival supporters standing shoulder to shoulder chatting, laughing and the occasional slagging. Nowhere else in the world does this happen. Go see it for yourself.

13/09/2026: We went into this premises today for a break from the work we where doing in another property close by. As we sat at bar thus beautiful elderly gentleman chatted with us and took our order,a bottle of corona, a Heineken shandy and a pint of miwadi orange...he made us very welcome, my son went outside to take a phone call and returned to us and then this other gentleman arrives behind the bar,starring at us for no reason,and asked do we know each other,he then said out straight u are not drinking here,took the drinks away from us and accused my son being stoned out his head,several times,,,my son told him off and went outside very annoyed and angry....I told him he was totally wrong in his actions and he accused myself and the third person beside me of being very very drunk....he was trying very hard to antagonise me towards him...kept saying he so so wrong with his accusations.....I stood up to leave and this gentleman his name ...he told me Jim Clarke was his name,Clarke name on pub.....he wouldn't entertain anything we were saying but kept saying everything being recorded as if to annoy us more....I told I will be taking this matter further, asked him could I borrow a pen cand he told me what to do with myself.....my son came back in to bring me away and raised the high chair enough to lift over the foot rest at the bar and this Mr.Clarke started accusing him of attempting to throw thus high chair....we told him we we placing the chair back the we found it and hoped all his supposedly recording system sees this ....he was so rude and his accusations where unbearable and unbelievable....could not believe his actions.....hope people get to read this....it's outrageous and will be followed through on our begslf without a doubt

02/10/2026: Terrible experience. We waited nearly two hours for our delivery with no update whatsoever. After waiting all that time, we rang the restaurant and were simply told to call their other branch. We called the other branch only to be told that our order had been cancelled. Nobody had contacted us to let us know, and no solution was offered. Nearly two hours waiting just to end up with no food, no notification and no help at all. Really poor service and a complete waste of our time. Would not recommend. An absolute disaster.

12/09/2026: Ordered a pizza and side on September 7th, ended up waiting 1 hour and 40 minutes for a delivery from baldoyle to portmarnock. No apology no credit or discount offered, absolute disgrace.

17/07/2026: Cool place, must visit for all ramen lovers.

16/07/2026: My friends and I were there for lunch at we got disappointed (especially the burgers were very bad). Don’t go there but the rahmen aren’t that bad as the burgers.

23/07/2026: And, out of absolutely nowhere, it’s gone! Nice spot, nice setup, but very suddenly replaced by a Butler’s.

25/02/2026: I arrived to shop at 9.10 am. Told to come back as store will not be open for another 10 - 15 mins. Opening times are clearly stated 9am Mon to Sat. This is the second time this has happened to me.

12/09/2026: The staff were lovely, and I couldn’t fault them. However, the sandwiches are pre-made, which is disappointing when you’re paying premium prices. A better selection of relishes or mayo would at least allow for some personalisation. Unfortunately, I couldn’t eat the açaí bowl as it was rock-hard and icy rather than smooth, and the fruit didn’t seem fresh. As the café is located within an apartment building, there were quite a few people lingering around the area, which made me feel uncomfortable. Overall, the ambience was lacking.

07/08/2026: Acai bowl (plastic container not a bowl) barely hit the spot. This place is definately not a cafe as the name would suggest, the offering, service and layout is of an office canteen, not a brunch spot

21/07/2026: I visited Milano in Blanchardstown today and have to say the service and the food was excellent! Special shout out to Amy who was the kind waitress, thank you Amy for your speedy and excellent service. Will definitely be back again soon.

19/07/2026: I had a lovely meal with my family for my birthday last Friday 17th July. The food was amazing! Our server was Charlie and he couldn't have been helpful and professional! I would highly recommend your restaurant.

11/09/2026: Good coffee and sweets. Nice barista, very quick. Wish there were more options, only the ice cream is gluten free

24/07/2026: There was one barista guy with a very poor attitude. He seemed to dislike both his job and the customers. My friends and I were playing some games, but throughout our visit he was hostile and kept staring at us with an unfriendly expression, which made us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. At some point we left the place. It really affected our experience. I hope management addresses this.

26/12/2025: We arrived at The Port House Cava for our booking at 1pm Christmas Eve. The restaurant was empty except for one table. All the other tables were vacant. The server greeted us and immediately warned us he needed the table back at 3pm. That’s fine. We sat. We waited. The same server was down the back chatting with the kitchen over the pass. We waited a little longer, still no drinks order was coming. I decided to draw some attention to our table by going up to the empty bar. The only occupied table gave me a glance that I read as a comment on the hopeless service as they tried to get the same servers attention. He was still chatting at the pass while the only two tables were both waiting for some attention. Up to the bar he saunters, I ask if we can order some prosecco. We only have Cava he says “they are the same thing”. No there not I reply, but ok let’s have a bottle of cava and if you don’t mind 6 glasses for our table. Back at our table he produces a wine list which would have been handy when we were seated. The cava arrives. It’s barely chilled. I say nothing. Again the same server reminds us that he needs the table back at 3pm. My blood is boiling at this stage as my family as I are made feel like we are an obstruction of sorts. The food arrives and it’s delicious. Well presented. Well cooked and a delight. The first bottle of cava is empty. I’d like to order another but the server is back down at the pass chatting again. To command he attention, again I get up and venture to the bar. Another server has started his shift just before 2pm. He’s more attentive. We order another cava and a bottle of rosé. 2.40pm and the 2nd server starts clearing our table. 2.50pm and they are hovering around our table to let us know it’s almost time to go. The restaurant is still empty except for one other 3top table. The bill arrives and I settle at the bar leaving half the tip I normally would. I ask the server why the hard push on getting the table back while the restaurant is empty. He has no answer. Which points me toward the owner or manager who I know will read this review. So, dear sir or madam, your pockets would be better lined if you spent as much time on encouraging your staff to deliver a good experience rather than a punctual one. You’re employing bus boys, not servers. We’re paying for the experience of which the food is only part. The atmosphere was dead just like the bookings. What’s the different between The Port House Cava and Tapas Del Lola? The staff. The staff. The staff. You’re doing Camden Street no favours with this diabolical customer service. I strongly suggest you consider adding some charm somewhere because you’re just not at the level of some of your good neighbours.
