The best restaurants in Dublin

31/03/2024: Highly recommend! Restaurant and bar area are beautiful, the team are so friendly and their knowledge and expertise is evident. Nice range on the menu. I’m absolutely no wine expert but large selection for those who are! Felt the prices were reasonable

28/03/2024: Very disappointed, the service was poor, when asked for an allergen menu they marked all the items that did not contain dairy so my partner order a fish dish only to brought lamb that was previously marked as dairy, when we informed them that wasn't what was ordered they mentioned the lamp was non dairy and the original dish contained dairy. As an alternative they suggested the Monkfish that was previously marked as dairy so we decided to leave as they seem very confused by the menu. The only food we ate was a starter, however this was also quite poor with the shrimp still in the shell, lastly the atmosphere was also disappointing with volume of the speakers very loud making it very difficult to hear anything.

11/10/2024: I cant recommend this place enough. I was a barista for years and this is one of the better coffeeshops in Dublin. Nice medium roast coffee and the girls in there are friendly and really know what they are doing. I haven't had a bad coffee from them. Also vegan friendly

16/11/2024: First time for us in a Korean restaurant, where the atmosphere is rustic and very friendly, and we were delighted. By choosing a Bulgogi Cheolpan (to share as a couple), the experience was completed by cooking our own dish using a portable gas stove placed on our table. The beef marinade was excellent, and the tenderness of it was perfect. While cooking, the accompaniment made from onions, spring onions and mushrooms was soaked in this sauce... divine. In addition, for those who don't like crunchy onions, being able to manage their cooking is a plus. Regarding the price, well €29 for two (and you won't leave there hungry!) is very fair. I really recommend it, especially since the restaurant is frequented by Koreans. I think this proves the authenticity of the cuisine served to us? To taste!

06/10/2024: Ordered for collection on Saturday night. My partner and I got the Double Trouble deal with for 2 large pizzas for 33 quid was a steal. Website wasn't messy and ordering was really straight forward. Food was ready bang on time and piping hot which was great for the car ride home. Pizza was unbelievable and the goujons were top notch too. Will be back for sure! W

29/09/2023: Wasn’t that busy me and my sister had went in and sat down for about 10 mins another table of 3 came in after us and they took there order and about 10 mins later another table comes in and they took there order we had been sitting there 20 mins and no one had came near us service is very poor

12/11/2024: Will 100% not be returning to this hotel. We brought more than 60 guests back to this hotel on a quiet Tuesday for carvery after a tough day with a bereavement in the family. The bar staff in particular were nothing but rude to us in the evening after the meal. They asked us to quieten down around 6:30pm, we thought nothing of it only that it was a bit odd as we weren't being overly loud. There were less than 10 people left from the funeral at this stage. Conversation and a few laughs is all it was. Then, at around 8pm the supposed bar manager asked us to quieten down again to our disbelief. Shortly after this the barman would not serve anyone from the funeral. We asked at reception if there was a complaint and reception confirmed that there was no complaints from anyone in the main bar. There was less than 15 other patrons in the bar. Unbelievable. We had some rooms booked in the hotel, we all checked out and found an alternative place to stay. The worst hospitality I've experienced.

23/10/2024: Went to Hillbillys yesterday 'Rathmines ' for the first time, ordered a dinner box for takeaway, the girl who took my order was very friendly and helpful when I asked her for particular pieces of chicken, I could see that the man doing the cooking was quick and efficient, the only way knock back was the gravy ,as a regular in older established chicken franchises, Hillbillys gravy was a disappointment, their gravy was much too thick and the taste did not reflect the wonderful taste of the chicken and flavoured coating, gravy has to be thick but it also has to be able to flow ,the consistency of this gravy was unfortunately like cement, the dinner box was excellent, staff were really pleasant, get the gravy right, consistency and more flavour and this place will be a winner, John

13/11/2024: Very weird experience when I get a delivery from this Chinese. The delivery driver called me 3 times. The first time was to tell me the food was on the way. The second was that he was 2 mins away. And the third was to open the door. When I opened the door he wasn’t there. Then flew into the garden jumped out of the car and walked 2 steps away from his car waiting for me to go to him while I was in my socks. And it was raining out. If chicken sometimes gives you the fear don’t order from this Chinese especially the spice bag it’s extremely stringy chicken
