24/11/2025: Absolutely love this place. Favourite place for brunch in blackrock, waitresses are so friendly & have the craic with you. Love the new winter menu. Can get very busy but will always try accommodate you

24/03/2026: Ordered takeaway through the chutni website.. Food was ready by the time we arrived ... Good taste and affordable price rate.. Ordered chicken malai kebab, butter chicken , chilli chicken, lamb dun biriyani & chicken dum biriyani.... Butter chicken and the biriyanis were perfect flavours and all of enjoyed the taste.. spices were up to the mark... Chilli chicken was okay but the kebab was a bit salty.. did not reach our expectation and taste...

20/02/2026: I’ve been a regular customer at Chutni Take Away for quite some time, mainly because their previous menu was absolutely full of flavour and variety. It was honestly one of the best in town, and that’s what kept me coming back two or three times a week. It genuinely stood out from other takeaways. Unfortunately, since the menu change, the experience hasn’t been the same. The new menu feels very limited, and the dishes lack the bold flavours that made this place stand out before. It feels a bit bland and less exciting compared to what it used to be. I truly hope the management considers bringing back some of the old favourites or expanding the menu again, because this place had something really special. I’d love to become a regular customer again.

15/10/2025: Food in here has become terrible ever since these new owners took over This place. Cleaboy chipper was one of the best chippers in the town by a mile. But ever since these new owners came the food has gone massively downhill especially in the last year or so,Also the price of food in here is absolutely ridiculous for the food that gets served. I highly recommend not to go here as there is plenty of better chipper's in waterford city.

20/09/2025: I only tried the chicken wrap, therefore I can only speak about that. It wasn't bad, but far from the best one I've had. The meat was a little bit too oily for my taste and didn't sit well in my belly. On the other hand, it's not expensive (atm), so that balances a bit. The service was fast, meaning that the staff is doing their best to serve every customer quickly enough. Overall, a good little spot for takeaway, if your expectations are not very high for the price.

19/03/2026: Meh, its just meh. Itll do if youre hungry enough but its nothing special. Did find a curly blonde hair in the curry which kinda wrecked the whole thing after. Driver took ages to deliver, bag wasnt closed so everything was already tepid when it arrived

22/08/2025: Had a lovely, fresh acai bowl, along with a great latte. I managed to leave my jacket behind, and they kept it safe and sound until I returned to get it. Much appreciated! It seems the name has changed to LaHoya z but it doesn't show up in Maps with that name .

16/03/2026: If you’re looking for Mexican food - skip this place. Quality of the food is not good. The meat almost made me vomit. The service is very mid and minimal to the point where they can’t even cut a burrito in half.

07/03/2026: I wish I checked the reviews before I ordered a spice box because like others, I got literally the saltiest dish I have ever ordered in my life. It was actually inedible and 90% of it went in the bin. Chips were soggy from oil. The maasaman sauce was ice cold. The coke zero can was the only redeeming part. Really shocked to discover that this place actually has restaurants - I would avoid like the plague.
