13/10/2025: My friends and I walked in and spent less than 15 minutes inside. Maybe it was the weekend that we came but it was overpacked and not really our vibe. Hopefully we’ll come back during a less crowded time. Albeit this was the weekend of the Vikings vs Steelers game.

23/10/2025: This was the most expensive breakfast I have ever had anywhere in the world. One small piece of toast, two small eggs and a few small pieces of bacon - €14. I asked for an additional piece of toast and was told that I need to get an additional portion of toast (2 slices) for €3.50. So for €17.50, I would actually have had a normal sized breakfast. This is how much I have paid for a continental breakfast in a hotel!!!! Food was average, came lukewarm. Ordered large cappuccino and it came with powdered cocoa with sugar on top. Without asking if I actually take sugar. The wait staff was nice but the rest of the experience was ridiculous. Never again.

22/08/2025: No puedo creer lo mal que le ha ido a Solo Café, Killiney, porque me encantaba. Todo fue horrible. El personal era realmente grosero y nos sentimos como si fuéramos un inconveniente al ordenar. La comida estaba literalmente tirado en la mesa y no recibimos nuestras bebidas hasta después de la comida, a pesar de que pedimos dos veces. La calidad real de la comida también ha ido terrible. Mi tortilla era dura y no comestible y venía con un montón de pasta horrible (decía ensalada en el menú), pero la camarera ciertamente no estaba feliz de hacernos saber en qué consistía una ensalada. Nunca volveré después de esa experiencia.

11/10/2025: Great Pub. A smashing local pub in Crumlin. Good pint . Live music and a choice of lounge or bar .

25/08/2025: Brilliant local family pub, great atmosphere, especially when the butler family put on a show, although it is somewhat diminished by a certain member of staff, we wont mention any names, but he has red curly hair. 😂

31/10/2025: A terrible experience. I wasn't allowed to use the restroom despite politely requesting it and explaining it was an emergency. Furthermore, the staff treated me very disrespectfully, even searching me for no reason. I absolutely do not recommend this place; it shows a complete lack of respect for its customers.

19/10/2025: Atmosphere: Great ambience, felt intimate and lively. ​Performers: The MC was super energetic, and the acts were all genuinely laugh-out-loud funny. A strong, well-curated show.

01/10/2025: Incredible spicebag for only €4.90 and it came with a free curry sauce too.

09/09/2025: First time to get a take away here. Portion was smallish and the beef green pepper didn't taste like it normally should. Disappointing

28/11/2025: The staff was amazing bouncer was most helpful i ever get not even shop but over al bars and stuff , till staff was amazing but u ove charging for drinks that is said on can is ridiculous but I want to point out staff who explain to me in depth why it is and I am not blaming them u don't deserve staff like this . The name of staff wasn't given to me bevause supposedly they are too scared ill be back to see but if I will see any of them gone ill come down on you like hammer of thor. 28 november 2025

28/11/2025: I have been waiting for 20 minute at least whereas everyone else has been getting their order. Only when I came up and I asked they seemed like starting to prepare my order. I have waited for a long time and still they managed to complete every order before they finished mine, even when I was here first.

28/07/2025: Absolutely magnificent restaurant experience at Sands Mediterranean in Clontarf. The food here is to die for...we ordered the best Frutti di Mare pizza ever with the most delicious seafood toppings, the wonderful baked hake with pasta and the freshly battered fish and chips. The garlic pizza starter went down a treat and the triple cooked chips and garlic mayo are superb. Mick and his staff are the best and so welcoming and accommodating. This was another really top notch dining experience and I highly recommend putting Sands Mediterranean on your list of restaurants to try in Clontarf. 5 stars all day long!

04/10/2025: Very quiet. Only one server. Couples walked in and out but we had already ordered. Food not good quality for breakfast overall and not value for money.
