14/10/2024: The atmosphere was very bland, thankfully there were 6 of us there for a meal and created our own atmosphere. Our server Klaus was amazing, very friendly and welcoming, was great with the 9 year old with us and nothing was too much to ask him

12/08/2024: Really cute cafe and nice atmosphere. Staff was really friendly. We went there twice and Tool Ice Lattes, macaron, chocolate cake and passion cake. Really delicious.
25/07/2024: Locale elegante e raffinato. Abbiamo preso un dolce e una cioccolata calda. Buono ma non effetto Wow. Diciamo che i prezzi per la qualità offerta sono alti, si paga anche il nome e il lusso.

15/11/2024: Best kebab on the North side of Dublin nice friendly staff. Very fresh sald all the time go there good sauce to well worth it. I have been back it's it's still very good the place is always clean looking on like other place on the road. They all so do pizzas and falafel only thing is there is not good vegetarian Dish on the menu ever place should a forzzen falafel is not good enough maybe a vegetarian kebab I have had vegetarian kebab at ALT now festival and they where very nice and popular. The Prices are good here. there is only 4 or 5 seats in the place so it's more of a take away place. I will be back soon for my mix kebab whit lot's of all the sald and sauce one the side.
30/10/2024: The best pizza and chicken kebab in Dublin, this place is a must-visit! Highly recommended.

09/11/2024: I travel to Dublin often for a business.
As I am driving, Unusually have non alcoholic beer.
I was charged 7.50 for a pint of Guinness zero while the average the same pint in Dublin is 5.50.
This is a total riff off and not fair price .
Update:
I also was charged 4e for americano .
I wound not recommend this place as its a ripp off .

15/10/2024: Great for what it is. Large pub with cheap drinks, food, and an interesting atmosphere. Perfect place to have a couple drinks to start and then potentially move on to the next place.

for years but have never had such a disappointing time as we did today.
I ordered just one toasted sandwich and 2 teas.
When paying the credit card machine asked if you want to pay a service charge or skip that option.
I skipped as I thought self service meant that.
But felt I was treated coldly after that and had to wait ages for the sandwich and tea had gone cold by then.

13/10/2024: 2 hours after placing my order and ringing them twice, I discovered my order wasn’t even in the queue… Rather than apologise and make the order quickly, the guy on the phone blamed the kitchen for “not accepting it” and just told me to contact Deliveroo for a refund…honestly the worst experience with a takeaway I’ve ever had! Truly awful experience filled with contradicting information from the first time I contacted them. Unless I pushed for more info I’m convinced they just would have left the order run indefinitely and never deliver it! Disgraceful - avoid this place like the plague!
17/09/2024: My first visit, and there is no reason that I wouldn’t return, and equally no reason I would not highly recommend. Orchid is a classy establishment, intimate and inviting, not your every day suburban restaurant. Orchid has a touch of class… for those who want your every day Chinese, this is not for you, but for those who want a Chinese that counts as a ‘date night’ or a night out with your best friend or better half, this is for you. Brilliant food, service, atmosphere.

16/06/2024: Insomnia is without a doubt the premier coffee institution in Blackrock. The coffee in Insomnia Blackrock tastes so much better than the coffee I've had in any other Insomnia. The staff are obviously very well trained and besides that, they know all the locals orders, their names and their interests. A proper village coffee shop, a very happy customer for the last 20 years.

21/08/2024: This is a restaurant inside the university. There are a lot of visitors, including students, so it may be difficult to find a seat when it is crowded. I went for lunch three days in a row and the menus were all different. Breakfast is also available in the morning. Put your food on a tray and pay for it all at once. It is from 7:30 to 3:00 in the morning. And the menu for that day was displayed next to the tray, but since it was late (around 2 o'clock?), I was cleaning up the area. (As of August 21, 2024) If you want to see what's on the lunch menu plate, don't go late... I want to fill my stomach, but this seems like one way to get the most bang for your buck. I’m leaving a review for Koreans haha.
