The best restaurants in Dublin

12/12/2025: Good quality fish and chips, as well as some pizza options, such as vegetarian and pepperoni. The place is quite expensive, €20 for fish and chips, which is understandable considering the cost of living there, but not for the portion size. The staff's service could be much better, and at times they were overly attentive when entering the PIN on the card reader (suspiciously, the contactless wasn't working). They're the kind of fixed kiosks you can't touch to protect your PIN. We didn't like what happened. Nor did we appreciate waiting over 30 minutes to be served. It's located away from the main pedestrian area, so the atmosphere in this area is less touristy, and you can find "all sorts" of places. Not recommended unless you go during the day, pay in cash, and order takeaway.

07/12/2025: Family all got upset tummy after our pizza

14/12/2025: Asked for a plain cheese burger, bun, burger and cheese, nothing , got a burger with everything I didn't want and drowned in sauce. Asked for a bottle of still water, was given sparkling, then it was swapped for still. Fries where a bit rubbery

14/12/2025: Added items to our bill hoping we wouldn't notice as we had to prepay. Toilets were disgusting, floods of urine across the doorway and along the sides. Approached the manager about this and she acted like she didn't know about either, buy could tell by her face and reaction that this was a common thing. AVOID this place

22/12/2025: Omg where to start with this place! Incredible. We didn't go for hot pot or BBQ options but others did and it looks great. The vegetarian options are plentiful and the dumplings were to die for. 100% will return again. So fairly priced as well. Two courses and drinks were under €70

22/10/2025: Disgusting behavior from this hotel. I booked a triple room for a good price for an event prior to the event being advertised. After the event was advertised, the hotel claimed my card details were incorrect and cancelled my booking. THEN relisted the same room for more than double the price.My credit card was and still is very much valid.

23/11/2025: Lovely restaurant and bar area but really bad food. Completely empty on what should be a busy Sunday afternoon. Tasteless desserts, fatty beef roast. A pity as venue looks great and staff lovely. Fitzpatricks is patchy to say the least - from some angles hotel looks incredible, from others it is semi-derelict, covered in moss and damp.

29/11/2025: Recently at the Ballsbridge branch, delivery option is regularly not available. Ordered Collection, went down for allotted time, mayhem inside. Staff answering the phone and checking orders appeared new, slow and flustered, had to stand around for 10 mins before I accosted a worker and then 1 of 2 ordered pizza’s was retrieved from a heating bag. Had to wait another 5 mins until someone bothered looking for pizza 2. Various people in the restaurant in the same boat as me, frustration was rife. Suffice to say pizza was not hot, was saggy and greasy once home. With the cost of pizza’s, please do better. Expensive treat tarnished by poor service today

12/10/2025: If you are in to that type of food you will be very happy. If you are looking for quick meal you will be happy as well. Food is prepared quickly, portions are big and food is tasty. Comparing to other similar chippers this was is on the highest level.

Not worth for 15.50 euro both Dont expect. . Never gonna get food from there again. That was my first and last. Sorry for saying. Change the cook. Food is terrible.

31/08/2025: Standards have dropped lack of curry sauce on chips. Chips not cooked very well. Not the worst but used be alot nicer.

31/10/2025: Great venue. Was there for the Lost Sunday Skalloween ska and reggae event which was brilliant. The Last Lane venue allowed for different acts to be performing at the same time, like the DJ in one section and live band in another. Highly recommend both Lost Lane and the Lost Sunday gig.
