15/04/2025: Beautiful place. We came from belfast to attend my grandads funeral who sadly passed away great service and the carvery wad Beautiful with great portion sizes. Staff were lovely and accommodating

19/02/2025: Went to the lounge Female black hair seen me As she was talking to local female customer s Then she ran away into the bar For the next 5 mins+ She was putting empty beer barrel s From the bar She fully ignored me After that I decided to go into the bar As I engaged with a local Customer Only then I was served After waiting another few minutes Then for my 2 Nd pint of Guinness I had to ask blonde lady Waiting for my drink Another 5 mins Then I met batman For 3rd pint More manners in a pig Lucky for him I'm a butcher by trade Local in fenelons ballybrack As a youth 50 years ago I was allways told back in them days If the customer wasn't there You wouldn't have a job Going back to the lounge Their seem to be only 1 drink Pump on display So sad today generation staff Are only interested In there mobile phone s And what time they are finishing work Have - respect for their customers Especially for their elders Sad Wonder how would the owner feel If the shoe was on the other foot Iv have never had got service Only for a local customer Was an old friend Why victimize your elders Regardless if you are a local or not My money is the same colour

17/04/2025: Found this spot on google after realising the place we originally planned to go to for a spice bag was 40mins away instead of the 10 it took to walk here from our hotel, we ordered a spice bag meal each which included a drink and a sauce too for 12.50, we definitely could have just shared one between use both as the portions where huge, ordered then asked to wait outside but we where only waiting about ten minutes which seemed reasonable as it’s a small busy place. The food was really good and although lovely wasn’t as spicey as we were expecting, had abit of heat to it but quite mild, as I said still lovely. My bf thinks the chicken wasn’t fresh and was perhaps frozen just on the taste alone but still tasted great.

15/04/2025: First ones orderd last one to get it! My boyfriend and I orderd 2 spice backs. We got our food 30 minutes apart of each other. Other people got there food earler then us but we orderd way earler. I will Not recommend this

12/04/2025: Eggs and muffin promised cherry tomatoes, black pepper and parsley butter. No sign of tomatoes, parsley or pepper.

06/04/2025: We arrived around 12 and there was no breakfast, but they offered us the Lunch menu. The staff is very friendly at all times. We ordered two sandwiches: one Buffalo chicken and one Homemade Ham. Both delicious!! They all come with potatoes with pepper and yogurt sauce.

18/04/2025: Had a fantastic time at Jackie’s. The decor, music and atmosphere was brilliant. 90’s tunes and super sound staff. The cocktails are 10/10 and reasonably priced. Great date spot. Will definitely be back!

17/04/2025: Visitado para la cena después de visitar la prisión, no estaba ocupado, pero el personal era amable. Pedido comida y bebidas, incluyendo un Guinness fresco. La comida en sí era abundante y de un buen tamaño. Dos tuberías principales, dos comidas para niños y 4 bebidas = 70€, lo que no está muy mal teniendo en cuenta la cantidad de comida recibida.

27/04/2025: Ive tried this place a couple of times waiting for the magic to happen but it just never came, it flatters to deceive for me.

20/04/2025: Edit: A year after my first review I see things didn't change. New employees but the same attitude of being more focused in socialising between one another and laughing loudly, than serving. We had finished our meal and the dishes were there, being annoying at the table when we wanted to use it for something else. A server would come and go close to us, but was avoiding eye contact and never asked to take the dirty plates. A different server came after a while and took them without us having to ask. There was a third server, the one that took our orders and brought the food, but he never came even near us after serving the food. Also, in this place you are asked if you want a coffee as soon as you sit. For lunch we prefer the coffee after the meal, but since no server approached us for a long time after we finished eating, we gave up. By the time the only good server approached us we were annoyed and didn't want to give this place more of our money. I think we're not considering this place anymore for Sunday lunch, since apparently the staff can't be arsed to work on that day... Original review: I have been to this café several times, I like this place, the food is a bit pricey and I wish they had more vegetarian options, but the flavours are great. The service is normally good, sometimes even great. Today, though, the waitress we had at first was more focused on socialising with her coworkers than on taking our order, or the one beside us. Later on, she and other staff members apparently were taking a break sitting at a table, they were very loud, talking and laughing in an obnoxious manner. Not really the type of atmosphere you would prefer in a café. When we paid, again another member of staff seemed more interested in socialising with coworkers than to greet us good bye. It left a weird taste, not very customer oriented day, I guess.

17/04/2025: Went in at 8:30 to get some cake slices, expecting them to be fresh. They all tasted like they've been sitting in the fridge overnight. Ended up just throwing them away. Don't waste your money

13/04/2025: One of the oldest bakeries in Dublin. I think it is family owned. Has many options for a dine in quick visit and for ordering large quantities or big cakes. Tasty products.

19/04/2025: Always a treat dining here. Been here for the barbecues, hotpots and other À la carte dishes. Everything tastes amazing here. Always back for my comfort food. ❤️

15/04/2025: Drunken Fish is a nice restaurant to try Korean cuisine. Their unlimited Korean bbq is a must try. They got a variety of meat, seafood and vegetables. Staff were really helpful and friendly. Will definitely go there again!
