The best restaurants in Dublin

17/01/2026: Love this place! The staff are lovely and the food is always gorgeous

14/01/2026: We visited the restaurant at lunchtime and were somewhat disappointed. The food was okay, but nothing more. We opted for the hot fish platter for two: the fish skewers were completely overcooked, the breaded fish was greasy, the mussels were quite good, but not the best I've had in Dublin. The garlic prawns were delicious, and the crab balls were a pleasant surprise. Oh, and the wine was good too 😅. If I'm going to a fish restaurant right on the pier, I expect an experience, not just run-of-the-mill service. The price/performance ratio was rather disappointing: around €100 for two people. And the seating was extremely cramped.

12/02/2025: I’m Turkish and there is a Turkish man which he is probably manager or the owner of the place. He was swearing to the staff and he was so rude to the customers as well. Never again!

21/01/2025: I ate my first ever kunafa here. It was very rich and delicious. Staff was lovely.

12/03/2025: El lugar era caótico debido al sistema en vigor. Conseguir comida y luego hacer cola para pagar significaba que la comida estaba fría, especialmente cuando la persona continuaba hasta que tomó siglos tratar de encontrar artículos. La comida tenía potencial para ser bueno, pero el servicio lo decepcionó.

26/10/2025: Put ketchup on my kebab tray meal, denied it, told me I hadn't specified no sauce (tried to tell me it was chilli sauce, 3 friends confirmed it was ketchup), I had ticked "garlic sauce" and would not have minded chilli sauce but who puts ketchup in MULTIPLE layers in a kebab tray!!! My fault for ordering a kebab from here. Very rude staff.

01/12/2025: Ate some kung po before I decided to take a picture. Pretty good actually, spiced just right. Will be back for more !

22/11/2025: Customer for year, always take away and collect. Decided to go for delivery today, ordered via app earlier in the day. Arrived over 30 mins late and food had to be reheated. So yes for take away collection as the food is very nice but avoid delivery.

08/11/2025: Nice pub not always busy but has great breakfast and lunch very busy on Thursday bingo night always have good music at weekends staff great

07/07/2025: Caffè Nero's website shows they are open to 6pm. On the door, it says they are open till 5.30pm. I am now standing in front of the door at 4.30pm - the door is locked, the lights are off and there is absolutely no sign of life inside. What is the point of misleading customers in this way?

18/12/2025: Bad service, a guy rudely came into the basement and asked people to leave the table because he had reserved it and needed it. It doesn't matter that at least 20 of us go there once a month. If u go keep in the first floor better

24/10/2025: Absolutely disgraceful and disappointing experience today. Refusing a 5 year old use of the toilet unless you pay for something. Even thoigh I didn't need anything I had to pay €2 for my 5 year old to use the toilet. Very disappointing. Costa has lost a customer

16/12/2025: Great local cafe / restaurant. Fresh top class breakfast and lunch with friendly well trained professional staff. I've been several times with my wife and friends and will be back again. Good value, spotless, friendly staff. Give it a go, you won't be disappointed

23/10/2025: King's Biryani, Stillorgan, is truly amazing! The Biryani and Egg Fried Rice were absolutely flawless—a perfect 10/10. The Seekh Kebabs were equally exceptional. Even the Tandoori was excellent. Beyond the stellar food, the chef is awesome, the staff is wonderful, and the whole place has a great atmosphere. Highly recommended!

31/12/2025: Place is absolutely milking people with their tapas / sharing plates for 15 quid. I went there with 4 friends. We were initially under the impression that 15 euro per person = 4 plates. 2 plates of food were served Food was fine but in no reality was there 60 euro worth of food on those 2 plates. If going, you're better off ordering something off the normal menu for less, if that is an option. Bouncers at the door seemed a bit short tempered / needlessly aggressive also, barking at people as they came in to give their names / confirm booking. Just gave us a bad vibe before we even sat down to eat. Overall not a great experience here and wouldn't be rushing back.

14/12/2025: Went in on Saturday after a day out with my daughter and grandson got a table straight away which was dirty, 2 waitresses on one folding napkins and other on her phone the owner came over with a cloth to clean table beside me then after asking he cleaned ours, after 10 mins of noone coming near us my daughter went to bar ordered a drink and got 2 bar menus, I had to call waitress who was still standing behind bar to take our order she said there would be a slight delay, I'd said fine. After an hour of sitting there my grandson was getting agitated from waiting around, not once were we asked would we like another drink or told that our food would be ready soon nothing, the table beside us ordered food and 15mins after ordering theirs was put in front of them I got up told waitress to cancel order she asked what happened I explained she said 2 mins food, we only ordered pasta for 3 of us not a hard dish, as I stood putting my coat on the tray with food was brought over I sat no baby's food I asked she went off 5 mins later brought his, we ate and left, never again, food wasn't great and the waitresses should be trained properly service was brutal

10/12/2025: Very very expensive one staff member young girl was very forgetful not a bit friendly, my chilli tacos were stale my sons turkey ham dinner was just ok but toilets were shockingly filthy no loo roll no soap , they don’t cater for kids girl gave us chalk and a betting docket to draw on 🙄 all in all a grubby dirty pub never again
