14/02/2025: Disgusting hot chocolate, to be honest worst hot chocolate I had in dublin amongst all local shops and good but very rude service.
Try the Insomnia hot chocolate which is far better than here.

20/03/2025: We ordered Sausage Rolls for lunch yesterday and they were served luke warm either end and cold in the middle. We called the waitress over and we sent them back to be heated fully through. Served a second time and they were still cold in the middle. We didn’t want to take any chances so sent them back again and asked for cake instead to which we were given 2 small 1 inch squares of chocolate cake and no offer of money back. Very disappointed as we had been before and enjoyed the previous experience. Over €20 for 2 coffees and 2 small squares of cake…not worth it
24/02/2025: The staff are amazing the girl behind the counter long black hair, so welcoming and friendly, visited this place from Leeds Uk and just made you feel so welcome.
The food was out of this world. Will defo be coming back next time we are in Dublin.

Incluía cinco botellas de vino, pero pequeñas cantidades de comida, a pesar de que nos ‘aseguraron’ que la cantidad sería más que suficiente. Después de haber comido tapas en muchos bares de toda España, estoy seguro de decir que esta fue la peor tapa que he experimentado. Como local, quiero apoyar a las empresas en Blackrock siempre que sea posible: Sin embargo, estaré bastante feliz de ver que este se va a la pared.

24/01/2025: Great coffee shop with a cozy ambiance and friendly staff. The flat white was rich and creamy, and the pastries were fresh and delicious. Perfect for relaxing or working, though it can get busy at peak times. Highly recommend!

It's exactly the kind of friendly spot where the staff always remembering a local face and make you feel right at home. The pints? Hands down the best in Clondalkin, if you ask me. Honestly, I can’t fault the place. If you want good company, a great pint, and an atmosphere that feels like you’ve walked into your favorite neighbor's living room, The Swallows is the place to be. Ignore the naysayers – this pub’s a top spot for sure!

Came home from work and picked up my preordered regular veggie toasted burrito—only to find it was way smaller than usual. I pointed it out and asked if they could add more filling. The store was empty, but the two new employees there didn’t speak English and were completely overwhelmed. Then, they brought out a visibly annoyed colleague from the back, who just snapped that the veggie version is smaller. I asked three times how that could be when it’s normally bigger, and that I wasn’t willing to pay 12 euros for a mini burrito.
Ciao! One customer less… it’s a joke. And 95% rice ☹️😩

26/03/2025: Grew up in the area but had been many years since I ate here so I decided to try again and it didn't disappoint! Curry sauce was perfection, chicken soft and tender and so were the prawns. Everything from the classy professional branded packaging to the generous portions was 1st class. Best Chinese I have had in a long time. We definitely get again next time I'm in the area
