03/08/2026: I visited this restaurant today about an hour before closing. As soon as we arrived, the waitress informed us of the closing time, which was perfectly fine. However, throughout our visit, she made it very clear that she was unhappy we had chosen to dine there. When taking our order, she was impatient with one of my friends, who doesn’t speak English very well, making the experience uncomfortable. About 30 minutes before closing, the staff started dragging chairs, opening the front door, and making it obvious that they wanted us to leave, even though the restaurant was still officially open. To make matters worse, we ordered dumplings, but they never arrived. Given the way we were being treated, we didn’t even feel comfortable asking about them. Despite the poor service, we still left a tip because the food itself was excellent. This restaurant has always been one of our favorite places to eat, which makes this experience even more disappointing. A friend of ours had just arrived from abroad to visit us, and we wanted to bring him here for dinner because we always enjoyed coming here. Sadly, the service completely changed that impression, and it makes us not want to come back. I completely understand that staff want to finish their shifts on time, but customers who arrive during business hours deserve to be treated with courtesy and respect. Unfortunately, the service we received made us feel unwelcome and overshadowed what would otherwise have been a great meal.

01/06/2026: Ordered last night and really wanted the himylian mixed curry. Really disappointed when all we got was chicken in the curry. .didn't complain as we where hungry and it was getting late. Food was lovely and worth it but thought we where mislead by the restaurant offering a certain meal but delivering something different. In any other business this would be considered false advertisements

13/12/2025: Why didnt I go there earlier? Its an amazing cozy, cute cafe with excellent service and coffee. Best for 2 people or 1. We tried -Avocado lime butter on sourdough 4⭐ Loved the idea, it would make this to an amzing balanced dish if there was an egg/mozarella to balance the tangy taste. But my partner loved it. - weekend special fluffy pancakes with fresh berries 4⭐ Loved the fact that there was generous amount of fresh berries and really good pancake.The cream was way sweet for me otherwise i would give it a 5 Cortado and Mocha ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Soooo gooood they use Badger and dodo's coffee beans. Amazing vibe and service top notch.

07/07/2025: Caffè Nero's website shows they are open to 6pm. On the door, it says they are open till 5.30pm. I am now standing in front of the door at 4.30pm - the door is locked, the lights are off and there is absolutely no sign of life inside. What is the point of misleading customers in this way?

25/07/2026: A long-time local favourite with an excellent (though poorly written) menu. Changing demographics have resulted in the place becoming louder, with many people - usually younger - shouting and blaring content from phones. The staff, who by and large are very friendly, are often absent for long periods of time and don’t always enforce the written rules of it being a quiet space. More vigilance will keep it the hidden gem it’s known to be, ‘s dócha 🤞

22/07/2026: Cozy and tranquil place to spend time and unwind, sipping some good tea. They have a wide selection of teas, as well as offer cakes and snacks. I’ve visited around after lunchtime on a weekday, and had almost the whole place for myself, but can easily imagine how it can get busy and bustling with people!

06/08/2026: Really good and tasty Spice bag, the staff was very friendly and nice to us. They cooked us a fresh batch. Open until late. The chicken portions are generous and the price is cheap.

23/03/2026: Had bunch here just before going to a walking tour from St.Stephens park. We reserved a table so there was no wait. I had the full Irish which was great, but my vegetarian friend felt that her breakfast was lacking the main things like hash browns, so she added them on, but our order wasn't brought out so we needed to ask again. The place is accessible with accessible toilets through a non-automatic door (that might cause some issues) but I would say for an establishment of this size only one regular toilet is not enough.

21/04/2026: Generally of good variety, especially for Arabic food ingredients. Moderately overpriced items compared to the stores in Coolmine but this is a common issue with all halal shops unfortunately.
