The best restaurants in Dublin

12/11/2025: The food here might be ok at normal times, but don't do the Too Good to Go surprise bags here. We did this yesterday and I go 3 wraps. Two which were the same. These are end of day products, but the quality of this was definitely 'too bad to sell'. Too Good to Go was really good when I used it while working in London. But I deleted the app after some very poor experiences there. One try in Dublin and I've deleted this app again.

11/11/2025: Very nice food. With reasonable prices too. I especially enjoy the Bueno tiffin. Would recommend.

12/05/2026: While the atmosphere at this American-style diner was enjoyable, our overall experience was quite bad. Save yourself some time and go to Bunsen or even Burger King or McDonald's because Jesus... 😟 The waiter didn't clarify that only "regular fries and drink" classify for the burger combo ("garlic" fries do not), my rocket hotdog was just a plain sausage in a bun, we were charged extra for garlic ranch sauce that should've come with the garlic fries and worst of all, they charged me for three things that make a Fanta float: the Fanta, the "Fanta float", and the ice cream! 😡 Talk about insane highway robbery. Won't be coming back here.

06/05/2026: Spent e100 on food, was all over cooked, ,b&c fries very small portion costs over 7 euro, supernova patty overcooked and totally wrong assembly as well as bouritto wrap. The Chinese chef definitely needs a refresher training on preparation and specification assembly for their menu!!!

19/02/2026: Attended a charity event here and had lovely food, drink and service. Recommend.

07/02/2026: My boyfriend had his birthday in Lisa's Yummy at the end of January, and it was great fun. Lisa and her daughter (Lucy) were so accommodating! We had some tasty cocktails (with normal or strong options!!) and large beers. Lisa was good fun and we even had a performance from Lucy ♥️ We will definitely be booking our next party with Lisa! The Spice Girls wall paper in the toilets was the cherry on top x

27/01/2026: The 4 in 1 here is always at least a 8/10. It never disappoints. Food is ready usually within 10-15 minutes and the staff are all very accommodating and polite.

08/01/2026: Had some takeaway over the Christmas period and it was inedible. The food was congealed and the sauce was way too sweet. There was very little meat and it was poor quality. I have always enjoyed the food here but the standard has definitely slipped. Wouldn't recommend.

02/05/2026: I ordered a burger and had to wait 30mins for it by the time i got it was cold when i was eating it i realised i was missing a paddy. I then went down to ask for a new one and got verbally abused by a worker i was deeply upset. I wont be coming back I would say thank but not this time. Next time your hiring make sure its good staff😡

02/05/2026: I ordered a double quarter pounder and when I tried to change it they said no even though I had the receipt. Flies everywhere so unsanitary. Workers rude and discriminatory to young people.

23/05/2026: Ordered a spice box and it came very dry and about 4 pieces of salt and chilli chicken…. Every single bit of the food was bone dry so wouldn’t recommend too anyone even on there death bed

10/05/2026: I think I've found it, the biggest cheapskate takeaway on the northside of Dublin...I mean really, you obviously don't respect your customers at all serving them literal wisps of chicken, its actually really messed up in my opinion charging people 9 euro for the pleasure of chewing on a whole load of battered nothing..attached are pictures of what literally everything looked like in the spice bag, wish I checked this before I left the restaurant because I really think its quite cynical to be charging people for this, really poor

11/05/2026: Ingredients were good. Could have been a little warmer. Tea was 100%

10/03/2026: Looking for somewhere to have a light lunch and popped in here. I had the Avocado toast and poached eggs and got to say it was just delicious, eggs were big and perfectly poached,, runny but slightly set, sitting on lovely toasted sourdough and creamy avocado. Little pricey but I don't mind paying for quality and I did really enjoy it. Will definitely be back next time I,'m over.

23/05/2026: In my opinion, Libero’s in Deansgrange is the best fish and chip takeaway in the area. The portions are always generous and the smoked cod is absolutely to die for. Their garlic sauce is unreal as well. The staff are always friendly and helpful, and if you order delivery it’s consistently fast and efficient. Proper old-school quality takeaway.

30/03/2026: edit: got to update as I've now had 2 chicken fillet kebabs where the chicken was off. rubbery or tough - chewy - horrible texture for chicken. usually the chicken is succulent and juicy and fresh, but this last kebab it was terrible. Something is off in the process here. Not sure if chicken is old or overcooked or frozen and refried or something, but its not good. sorry guys. long term customer - usually good - but a couple of bad kebabs now. I emailed you at your info email with more details - feel free to reach out if you need more. old review: Excellent and easy app for ordering. Food always arrives very quickly and it's piping hot. They use their own delivery drivers - so much better then deliveroo justeat etc. The food is delicious. Good chips, succulent chicken, really nice kebabs. My go-to for Irish chipper take away. Keep it up guys..

29/03/2026: Been here twice at nights and it’s always been a horrible experience. We were the only customers and we weren’t acknowledged or served. After waiting for some time we eventually left. It seems like after 9pm staff just pretend like you don’t exist.

23/03/2026: I love their ice-cream and the staff are always very nice

05/04/2026: The Botanical has a nice, interesting ambiance and could and should be a good venue. However, while the service was okay, the food was really mediocre. Considering one can find many places across Dublin with better atmosphere and service and much better food, give this one a pass.

27/03/2026: On the last day of our vacation, my girlfriend and I were treated to a small, cold, unsalted plate of spaghetti for €15. It came without the tomato sauce described on the menu as "rich" and with a meager amount of Parmesan cheese. When we asked for more Parmesan, we were told we had to pay extra. The €10 drink was more ice than anything substantial. After eating, we went to a shop because we were starving. That's all there is to say. Avoid this place and save your money!

28/09/2025: The food was good. I ordered Andhra special Kadai chicken curry with naan. First thing, it was perfect, and second, it is enough for a big guy like me. Hospitality is great. Try it, guys!

21/09/2025: Been there for breakfast buffet and we loved it.

03/04/2026: A great Blackrock institution that has started to con customers and cut corners. It has always been standard practice to give a handful of chips with a fish fillet if you order a cod meal. They are now saying "we don't do that, customers don't usually want it". In an Italian Irish or Irish Chipper a few chips with your fish isn't just a tradition it's a courtesy. This measly theft and lien does more reputational damage than you can imagine. Go elsewhere until the Central Cafe sacks its night staff or stops being stingy

14/11/2025: Breakfast was great but £7.50 on the bill for 2 tea's is a bit 2 much and extras £4 for 2 slices of toast!

09/11/2025: The best cafe in Dun Laoghaire and the fact that it is always busy is testament to this. Very good coffee and a wide selection of breakfast/brunch/lunch dishes to suit all diets.

15/12/2025: Old style family pub in suburbs of Dundrum. The menu had all you needed, very good value and quality was excellent. Give it a go if you are near by, good alternative.

11/12/2025: Balinteer men's shed Christmas party went with a bang .FOOD was excellent and music top class.A great night was had by all .Definitely recommend it for a gathering. Thanks to Tomas for everything Owen

07/05/2026: Bought a double big mac with bacon 🥓 got a lukewarm burger 🍔 one slice of cheese 🧀 (double big mac !) And guess what NO BACON!!!! staff seemed disinterested so didn't bother to complain 🙄

02/05/2026: A McDonald's without mayonnaise… never seen that before🫣. Unlike similar establishments in the neighborhood, it is clean and OK.
