The best restaurants in Dublin

30/06/2026: Best Indian food in Dublin! I'm not sure about all their dished, but as a vegan, I can recommend their veggie options. Their Achari Baigen is incredible. We stopped by on a Saturday and we were happily surprised with a new buffet they just started. I have never seen an Indian buffet with some options including more than one veggie dish. Their staff is also super friendly. I can't recommend enough.

04/07/2026: Didn’t try the food but walked in on a Saturday at 1pm hoping for brunch and were ignored by the staff at the bar just inside the door who were deep in their own conversation, went to seat ourselves at a table, none of the waiting staff came to acknowledge us. We realised (after going outside to check the menu again) that breakfast is only until 12pm. So left as the staff watched us without saying a word. Strange atmosphere.

10/05/2026: Family member with nut allergy ordered from O Kee and chef included a note to reassure them there would be no need contamination which was very reassuring and much appreciated :)

25/04/2026: Awful experience don't order from them. I made a mistake (was a regular now no more) with the wrong address they won't refund me the money. I also found out that for no apparent reason they don't deliver in my area at all. Awful experience. This restaurant is banned from my list. They're money hungry and have no understanding of customer service

15/07/2026: Staff excellent. Food was fine. Crazy crazy over priced for chipper. 18.50 euro for small bag of chips, breast of chicken, can or coke, and portion of curry. 4.50 for portion of watery curry sauce.

30/05/2026: Came here years ago on our first dinner date, we came back with our baby now. Happy to see that the fish and chips is still as fresh and good as it was, the staff is still as friendly and they now have colouring pencils for the babies! The good music is a bonus

05/07/2026: Lots of nice and special moments I'm sharing with the Maldron Hotel in Tallaght. Breakfast was one of the best parts of our stay, mostly because of the amazing staff. Everyone was super nice and on top of things, but one person really stood out - Kasia. She was so friendly, always smiling, and really made sure we had everything we needed. You don’t come across that kind of genuine hospitality very often — Kasia, Wojtek and the morning team really made our mornings better. 🥰 The hotel is lucky to have them!

22/06/2026: Loved our room 307. Stayed two nights for my daughters dance e competition in Tallaght. Great parking great food. Just a couple of negative points: No slip mat in bath No fresh towels next day No fresh water next day But no fresh bedding though the bed was made & towels were folded when we got back to room but they still had dirty marks on them from day before. Other than that we enjoyed our stay

02/08/2026: Visited Treetop Restaurant in Clondalkin Village for the first time. The food was decent and the staff seemed pleasant initially. However, after leaving the bill money and a tip on the table, four or five staff members ran out and accused me of leaving without paying. Being falsely accused of theft in Ireland is a very serious matter, and I found the accusation extremely upsetting and defamatory. Because of this experience, I will be taking my custom, including a planned family event, elsewhere.

10/07/2026: The chips you get here are particularly bad. They are rubbery and feel like reheated leftovers. The staff as well seem hostile and they don’t seem to understand difference between eat-in & takeaway. Seems like a waste of space

08/07/2026: Spotless clean restaurant, only problem i have was with my order, I got a diner kebab meal. It was just full of veg and little to no meat inside, waste of 15 euros

28/04/2026: I had a wonderful experience at Romayo’s Diner Royal Canal Park. The food was delicious, the portions were generous, and everything was served quickly. The staff were friendly and the atmosphere was pleasant. I will definitely be coming back!🤗

13/06/2026: Scam Alert - Avoid this restaurant. Unacceptable Food Quality & Dismissive Management This was my first and last time ordering from this restaurant. We ordered three dishes — Saag Paneer, Veg Tikka Masala, and Veg Biryani — and every single one was a disappointment. 🔴 Saag Paneer What arrived was a bowl of saag with paneer bhurji (crumbled, minced paneer) scattered on top, nowhere close to the classic dish. When I called to raise this, the manager casually explained that the chef was handling multiple orders simultaneously and may have accidentally minced the paneer. That is not an explanation. That is an admission of carelessness. 🔴 Veg Tikka Masala This dish tasted like dessert, cloyingly sweet, more reminiscent of rasmalai than a tikka masala. The manager's response? He referred to it as "veg korma" and suggested that's simply how they make it. If you are selling a dish as Veg Tikka Masala, it must taste like one. Relabelling it after a complaint is not acceptable. 🔴 Veg Biryani What was served was artificially red-coloured rice, not a biryani by any standard. At that point, I had already heard enough from the manager and did not bother raising this issue. The food quality was poor across the board, and the management response made it worse. Every concern was either deflected or redefined rather than acknowledged. If you value authenticity in Indian cuisine, look elsewhere. This restaurant is not it.

21/05/2026: We have been going to The Shanai as a family for decades. My parents always went for Birthdays and Anniversaries. The rest of us who live abroad love to go there on our trips back to Dublin. My Lovely Brother died in the USA and my sister in law and his son knew straight away that The Shanai was the only place to have his Irish Celebration of Life. Buffet style food was absolutely delicious. Every choice was piping hot and scrumptious. My brother loved Butter Chicken so we had this as well. Best one ever! The staff were just wonderful and looked after us beautifully. They were very attentive and polite and couldn't do enough for us. Thank you for helping to make it such a special and enjoyable evening, despite the circumstances. Highly recommend The Shanai. I will see you next time I'm in Dublin.

07/07/2026: Food on the many occasions I have been was nice but went in today 07th July 2026 and was standing while the staff havent even said hello even though she had seen me, wont be returning as I found it extremley rude.

27/07/2026: Very, very hit and miss. Sometimes, the chips are the best tasting I've ever had. Other times, the chips are bland, dry and tasteless even when I specify "plenty of salt and vinegar". The same can be said for the BBQ rib kebab. Too much variability and you never know how tasty the meal will be which is disappointing. This lack of consistency ensures San Marino remains small like the country when it could be a giant in the fast food industry.
