01/06/2025: I can’t recommend Marija’s desserts enough! Marija created beautiful desserts for a very special occasion. They were so delicious, beautiful and plant based! Her work is truly a masterpiece. The communication was excellent and professional! Will definitely be ordering them again and exploring more flavours! 🩷

14/05/2025: Couldn’t speak any more highly about Marija. Her creations are absolutely stunning and delicious. I ordered a few eclairs and a couple of entremets for my partner’s birthday. She waited till the last minute to decorate them so they were fresh, and also made sure to include a message somewhere on the desserts (not as easy as on a cake) - the attention to detail is incredible. To top it off, she’s such a kind and lovely person. Delighted to have ordered from Marija.

07/07/2025: Caffè Nero's website shows they are open to 6pm. On the door, it says they are open till 5.30pm. I am now standing in front of the door at 4.30pm - the door is locked, the lights are off and there is absolutely no sign of life inside. What is the point of misleading customers in this way?

17/06/2025: I usually come here for a day's worth of computer desk work when I am nearby. The one time I sat away from my usual spot, my phone fell awkwardly into a corner between the seat and the wall, and I was mortified that I had to go tell staff. Luckily, Aki was super friendly and determined and we found a way to retrieve it, which was super kind of her! And they have some really nice specials here as well of course!

22/06/2025: Ordered delivery. Expected to wait 40 min but arrived in half the time, a wonderful surprise. We ordered the butter chicken, tandoori chicken, chicken biryani, and samosas. All were decent sized portions which filled us up. Favorite dish was the tandoori chicken (I wish we got a second order of this instead of the butter chicken). The dishes also came with different chutneys (tamarind, mint, yogurt & cucumber) and we liked all. Only critique is more chicken would have been nice in the butter chicken. Will be ordering again!

07/06/2025: Have been ordering from Spice Cove for years. Never had a bad meal. Absolutely delicious. Highly recommend the Saag and the Shashi Mugh. And the kebabs. Wow!!!

22/02/2025: Worse service waiting for delivery got a call said he was outside nobody was there then he rang again said he was outside nobody was there told them we don't want it it will be cold by the time we get it how hard is it to find a house

14/05/2025: Worst tasteless food I’ve ever had .Zero taste of the chips even after a-lot of salt on them and chicken burger we ordered the bun was so thin it just fell off when trying to hold it . Slop. First time ordering and last .

30/06/2025: The customer service in here is appalling. From the minute we were ‘greeted’ at the till. There was a male staff member (skinny with glasses and piercings) on the till that continued to talk to his friends despite us (and others)waiting to place our order. He then made a remark and asked if we were sure about our order. We felt judged by the staff as they also made fun of our order in front of us and the rest of the customers. The other staff (2 short girls and a ginger male with beard) are always lovely and polite. Disgusted with the customer service by Monday’s staff (30th June).

05/02/2025: Chicken and chorizo toastie for lunch was absolutely delicious. Place looks nice, was full of midday sunshine and had a relaxing atmosphere. Staff kindly left me to it as I waited ages for my friend to arrive. First time visiting this place and would happily return

14/07/2025: Starters we got wings which were undercooked, then watered down soft drinks, then my partner got a burger which was dryer than the Sahara desert, definitely won't eat here again, save your money and eat somewhere else

06/07/2025: Excellent wings and that's where it ends Waited 55 minutes for main course and when enquired was told off even though others that arrived later received their food missing a lot in the customer service department.. won't be back

04/07/2025: I have mixed feelings, because the food is good, the coffee too, but the waiting time for the order to be taken in general... you can starve to death, surrounded by food. We waited a good 15 minutes for someone to even take an interest in taking the order. And it wasn't like there was no service on site. Two cooks and two ladies serving at one station...

11/07/2025: All tables are dirty, workers are chatting. Got my meal but realised I was given my sauce for my chicken fries but they never even gave me my chicken fries so now i just have sauce. The rest of the food was just carelessly tossed aswell. Place wasn't even busy and staff were not very pleasant. It is fast food but very dissapointing.

12/06/2025: Always go here after a night out or if we want abit of food in town, the app is amazing for meal deals highly recommend

19/07/2025: The revival of the historic house is beautiful, with charming buildings and rooms. However, the bar was lacking during our visit. The biggest issue was breakfast — it had to be ordered individually and took nearly an hour. We had a frustrating experience with breakfast. We asked to eat at 08:00, but ended up waiting 1 hour and 15 minutes — with children under 10 years old. This was far from ideal. Later, we found out there's a café less than a 15-minute walk away where we could have had a breakfast insted. All in all, it was quite disappointing, and we will probably not return.

15/04/2025: This property is very beautiful the location is really great however this hotel is not suitable for older people. The breakfast service was very terrible as we constantly felt rushed even though the hotel was fully and we did not get our seat promptly. I absolutely have no issues waiting for a table because I understand that the hotel was fully booked and busy however as soon as we sat down we felt extremely rushed both days that we ate there. The breakfast was tasty though. We asked for clean towels to be set in our room and when we got back the towels that they had replaced were extremely dirty and had brown spots on them. I told front desk about this and I thought they were going to notify the manager but they never did. We went there with my parents who needed help with their luggage since there are a lot of stairs in this property. The stairs are completely fine and it was in the listing so I completely understood. However when we went to the front desk to ask for assistance for my parents to help them with their luggage the front desk person was sleeping in the lobby we did not offer to help us at all. This was extremely unprofessional considering that my parents were older, and we had been told the front desk offer is 24 seven and they did not help us with their luggage at all. Overall the properties very beautiful but the staff is horrendous. I’ve never the type of person to leave a negative review but this truly blew my mind how terrible the service was.
