28/06/2025: Waiting an hour and a half for delivery.

12/06/2025: amazing AMAZING food. me and my friends got egg fried rice, fish and chips, chinese style duck, chicken noodles and a noble house special, as well as an eton mess to share for dessert. it was definitely one of the best meals we've had over the last few weeks as well as the most stunning !!! the food's flavor is perfectly balanced and it's sooo filling as well, completely justifying the slightly high price. the staff is also very very nice and courteous and patient. we'd definitely come here again if we ever came back to ireland.

10/08/2025: We stumbled across this place as we were traveling round the area and ordered the half portion dinner's which were delicious and very good value. Would highly recommend the food in this little gem.

10/08/2025: Warning for travellers looking for a nice coffee, avoid this place. Google maps suggested here for a coffee for us on our journey. After ordering a cappuccino and latte and waiting over 10min I was handed what I can only describe as what looked like 2 half cups of muck! When I asked which is the cappuccino I was told they are both basically the same, they are instant coffee! They used instant coffee and warmed milk in the microwave and that's what we got, with a lovely layer of milk skin on the top of it might I add! I paid 7e for this and regret accepting it, we drank 3 sips, found the milk skin, felt ill and threw away the rest, it was honestly the worst coffee we have ever had. What annoyed me most was I wasn't told this when I ordered. I worked as a waitress and I would always tell my customers that ordered decaff coffee that we only had instant and if that is OK with them. (We had coffee machines with regular coffee for those who didnt want to drink nor pay (3.50) for a watery instant coffee u get free in a sachet in hotel rooms!). I expect transparency at the very least as a customer when ordering.

20/08/2025: Service was prompt & polite. Restaurant was very quiet on a Sunday early evening, only two other tables occupied. The pasta was decent and the chicken wings were just OK. Prices were very reasonable. Interior was clean if not a bit soulless.

26/07/2025: Middle of the day, restaurant was empty. Asked if my 4 year old could use the toilet - lady at the desk replies "Toilets are for customers only". Won't be giving my custom to make the place less empty...

29/07/2025: I ordered a brigadeiro cake, and it was a huge hit. It was beautiful and very chocolatey. Plenty of filling and an incredible flavor without being cloying. It was the star of the party. Everyone loved it!

06/06/2025: The mini frozen cozinhas are delicious. I make them in the air fryer and they get out very crispy! Mini cheese bread is also very tasty

23/08/2025: So ordered a delivery from maxs as always do online order accepted took €36.40.from account about 20 mins later order cancelled said refund will be giving no sign terrible take your money then have to wait maybe days for money back if not delivering or open surly has to be something in place before you order and pay ive to borrow money now to get food from somewhere else terrible terrible

06/08/2025: It’s a hidden gem within the shopping centre. The interior is elegantly decorated. The second level of the café has a quieter, warmer and cosier atmosphere. It also has wonderful views on the second level that overlook the Gaiety Theatre on King St S. They have a large selection of quality loose tea, coffee, cakes, sandwiches and other items. Although, the service alone makes it worthwhile. Always greeted warmly by kind and courteous staff. Fantastic service. Deserves more than 5 stars. If you haven’t already, please give this place a visit.

03/06/2025: We recently hosted our Day 2 of our wedding in the river terrace of Ashtons, and to say the team went above and beyond would be an understatement! We went for the BBQ option and the food was incredible (and plentiful!) and every single member of the Ashtons team were so lovely, and so attentive to all of our guests. We had a number of guests coming up to us making comments about how well run the whole event was! I couldn’t recommend it more for anyone booking an event, Gerry and the team were fantastic to work with.

07/03/2025: —- Oh guys what happened? Was going there for years and used to be great but now very disappointing! —- I know your in middle of renovations, but portion for chicken supreme was pigeon leg sized and in red wine gravy and mash… ehh and chicken supreme is usually in a white creamy sauce? Too expensive shrink-flationed portions! Bridges burnt won’t return.

20/07/2025: Hands down the best almond croissants I’ve ever had—perfectly crisp, buttery, and packed with flavour. The coffee is just as amazing. A must-visit spot for a top-tier treat!

16/07/2025: This is my go to spot for a healthy lunch or a coffee with a friend or client. The coffee is great and I've tried loads of both their brunch and lunch options - everything has been fresh, tasty and really delicious. It's not cheap but it's good value for the quality, decor and location. Tip: they do get busy at the very peak lunchtime rush so if I'm going for lunch I tend to go at 12.40 so I've already gotten my food by the time the real pressure comes on

06/09/2025: When we visited there were no cold drinks available, but the food was fresh and tasted like every other Burger King, so that's good. Staff was nice!

14/06/2025: We ordered dinner for the family and we especifically asked over the phone for no chilli in the the pad thai. We came back home and huge flakes of chilli on the pad thai. The same thing happenned the last time, so it wasn't just a one off. Irish staff took the order, so no language barrier here.l, just didn't care.
