The best restaurants in Dublin

25/04/2025: Dined in recently. Food isn't authentic—clearly adjusted for Irish taste. Unfriendly staff rushed us to order everything at once, no option to add later. Mushroom starter was oily and bland, seafood starter had undercooked, smelly prawns. Egg fried rice was good. Ordered lamb biryani but got lamb fried rice.

21/04/2025: The food is very good. Been down twice and both times the food was hot and tasty. The only problem is the staff. The managers friendly but seems to be running the show by themselves. The other staff the two young guys were very unfriendly, never asked how the food was. We said goodbye on the way out and we got no response. Its a pity as the food is very good.

09/03/2025: Nice open pub that also has a large snug area. Pleasant staff and a good range of beers. Scarcity of nearby parking is an issue though

27/04/2025: Food is good but staff get treated horribly, i worked there as a waiter as well as making the drinks and got expected to do an unreasonable amount of work, balancing every table as well as preparing drinks and making extra smoothies when they ran out, I got frequently yelled at despite practically running around doing everything i physically could and there's other reviews too stating that it made the customers uncomfortable how the staff got treated.

29/03/2025: The food here tasted amazing, it was better than most places with similar menus. The cheese on top of the toast made all the difference! I liked the French press coffee as well. It looks like they don't have a coffee machine, but that's totally fine. The cups added to the experience. They also have a good selection of teas and cakes, tried both and it was all very nice. One thing to note is there's no restroom at the restaurant, but you can use the one at the market. I was there on Saturday morning and got a table with no booking, but the place got busy pretty quickly. All in all very cozy and delicious! I like that it's kind of tucked in. I would love to come back here for lunch as well.

31/03/2025: Got a table at 14:50pm and was left sitting at the table for 20 minutes without been asked if we wanted any drinks or wanted to order keeping in mind that the restaurant was basically empty and the customers in it had already been served when we walked in. To make it worse a couple that arrived after us got served before we did so we decided to leave the restaurant due to very bad customer service.

23/02/2025: Counter Staff Jen was so nice and bubbly, salt and chili chicken balls was 10/10. Deffo recommend. Welcoming staff too.

20/04/2025: Came for the sunday roast and it was delicious. My only complaint is that i asked for a latte but they dont have any milk alternative? VERY weird they only had cow milk. I’m intolerant so that was not even an option.

28/12/2024: Best chipper in the city, can't believe only finding it in recent weeks. Food is just like it used to be, tastes superb, priced very, very fairly and staff are just great 👍👍👍

05/05/2025: Incredible service, the food arrives at your table very quickly, they have good space capacity, a good terrace, an excellent view, they are two floors, the bar has five places to order liquor, a great variety of food and drinks. Good music. Very close to the subway and bus stations. It is a good environment to share with friends

05/05/2025: Food was good, but the view out of this restaurant/pub is on another level. I enjoyed every second sitting here and looking out the window! We had a child along so babies are only allowed during daytime but I believe a dinner date here would be incredible. Such a lovely experience, staff is fast and helpful ❤️

13/04/2025: Aprecio que el restaurante cerrara pronto, pero pagué por un buen salteado y me senté a comerlo. Una chica comenzó a barrer el piso alrededor de mi mesa y hacer que el polvo volara. Muy educadamente le pedí que no se acercara a mí mientras comía y ella dijo “No, estoy haciendo mi trabajo”. Le dije por favor, ¿puede esperar hasta que termine y como no quiero suciedad en mi comida y ella dijo que no, solo estoy haciendo mi trabajo? ¡Ella no hablaba bien inglés! Bueno, simplemente salí con disgusto y dejé mi comida que pagué 15 €! ¡Muy vergonzoso!

19/04/2025: I recently placed an order with Domino’s and had one of the best pizza experiences in a while. I went with the classics this time: the Original Cheese and Tomato pizza and the Veggie Supreme, along with both the standard garlic bread and the indulgent Ultimate Cheesy Garlic Bread. Everything arrived hot, fresh, and right on time which is exactly what you want from a pizza night! The Original Cheese and Tomato pizza was simple but perfect. The base was soft yet had that nice oven-baked crisp on the edge, and the tomato sauce was rich with just the right balance of sweetness and tang. Topped with perfectly melted mozzarella, it had that stretchy, gooey texture that makes every bite feel like comfort food at its finest. The Veggie Supreme was a standout. Loaded with a generous amount of colorful veggies like peppers, mushrooms, onions, jalapenos and sweetcorn, it was full of flavor and had a satisfying crunch from the fresh toppings. The combination worked beautifully with the cheese and sauce, making it hearty without being too heavy. As for the sides, the regular garlic bread was warm and buttery with a soft texture and a mild garlic kick ideal for dipping or eating on its own. But the Ultimate Cheesy Garlic Bread? That was next level. Topped with gooey, golden cheese and infused with strong, delicious garlic flavor, it was incredibly satisfying and indulgent. Overall, the entire meal was a hit. Quality ingredients, great taste, and reliable delivery. Domino’s nailed it once again, I’ll definitely be ordering again soon!

20/03/2025: Was in for some drinks which was served by great bar persons. Music is live at the weekend, a good variety, well worth a visit.

12/10/2024: Bought a shot which should be 35.5 ml glass, came in a 30 ml plastic cup. Same price of course. As if pubs aren't expensive enough but they still gotta jip ya, better off going to a pub that cares about customers
