07/02/2026: Ordered tonight used to love there chicken curry. This is the second or third time in recent weeks last time was chicken in black bean. The quality has dipped but prices have increased 😒 chicken in the order tonight not good tasted like rubber. Shame...I'm done won't be back unfortunately most places have followed suit increase in price decrease in quality.

25/03/2026: A great local cafe. The place is cozy and has very nice atmosphere. The food is great, there is a wide selection of sandwiches available. My personal favourites are Ham&Cheese and Caprese sandwiches. I have visited this place multiple times and was never disappointed with the quality of food. The prices are also very reasonable which is a rarity in Blackrock. This place is definitely worth visiting if you are looking for a quick and tasty lunch in Blackrock.

26/07/2026: Has been taken over and recently renovated, so we really wanted to try as we’re local. Staff are very friendly as is owner, some servers a little new to the game. Food is a serious disappointment and horrendously overpriced for what we received. Menu initially looked great, but food that arrived was so far from expectation. Their social media portray a totally different vibe! Firstly the food took an hour to come, in drips and drabs and most of it was cold. One of the starters (we had ordered to share) the spinach and artichoke dip- we had to return as it was inedible. Chicken wings not bad to be fair and probably the only thing I ate in the end. The mains came out at different times, which isn’t great when you have kids waiting. Caesar salad was covered in chickpeas, and on a tiny plate that was piled high so was really hard to eat. The burger was very overcooked. The children’s chicken goujons were very spicy and they couldn’t eat them which is such a silly oversight. The pizza pin wheels were just like uncooked dough. Waitress was lovely and really did all she could to help and remedy it all for us. Really hoping it’s simply teething problems, we will try it again and be back in a few weeks maybe, but the kitchen / chef needs serious work - on the menu, food execution and quality of food. Simpler the better!

24/07/2026: If you like being deafened on a Thursday this could be your thing. You could join the other six people. For me, 30 dB lower would make for a much more pleasant experience.

13/06/2026: I don’t like Indian food before but when I tried the buttered chicken with papadam in silver kitchen , loveeee it, I did order last week in my party, people kept asking where I got the food, highly recommended.

17/06/2026: As guests of the Radisson Blu Hotel we visited the Dyflin Bar at some evenings. All food and drinks were very delicious and were presented in a very nice way. The service was super friendly and fast, so we always had a good time at the restaurant and bar.

28/06/2026: Pizza too expensive for what they offer. It isn’t bad, but the small pizza is tiny, and already expensive. To eat properly you need the larger pizza that would be almost €20.

08/06/2026: Food: for sandwiches option Recommend the egg sandwich. As for chocolates are so many to choose from and all so good just hit over hit never a,miss. My favourite is the Pannacottaand & raspberry. Service: even though its always,full they manage to operate on full calm pace and no mistakes. Always smile with genuine attitude. And always check if your part of the loyalty membership. Atmosphere: Since its always packed hard to find seating area And always over load so when you do its hard to hear you sitting companion. On several events tables un cleaned but due to low on staff on thst day and no manners of the costumers not to blame the team on the floor that day. As the capacity availability consistently full on most days In conclusion: All in all worth your time and visit try their limit time items most of them are good. Had 1 disappointment with the protein latte. But all in all others are positive experiences!

04/06/2026: I got a iced latte with vanilla syrup the syrup was disgusting and had a strong artificial flavour but the bottom of the drink had no syrup and it tasted good and i got a orange crunch chocolate which was very tasty

15/03/2026: ordered from clarehall in the new one. chicken is the stringy shite may aswell order clumps of oil. spice bag also had no flavour and cold. Won’t be back.

22/07/2026: Hungry wanted to get something for my father as well, saw the cod meal as a daily dinner deal for a tenner, got two, arrived home took a few bites utterly disappointed. First of all this isn’t cod, it’s haddock don’t advertise it as cod if it’s not that’s false advertisement. Second of all the ‘cod’ and chips were fried in vegetable oil. A real chipper uses beef tallow to fry their chips. This is cheap and disappointing. Shame on the boss deciding to fry it in vegetable oil. Fooling customers. Seems like the business isn’t doing well and they switched to cheaper alternatives to survive. This ‘deal’ isn’t even worth 10 euro, threw it in the bin. I advise everyone to avoid this chipper. Not worth the money

06/07/2026: I came and ordered a beer, no one asked me for my passport, later I was sitting and drinking my drink and a woman came up to me and asked for my passport, I am Ukrainian and my passport is expired due to the situation in my country. She just grabbed the drink out of my hand and said she had to confiscate it. I was shocked and The people at the next table who saw the situation told me that they work in this field and she treated me very badly and I have to ask for a refund for the drink. I approached the woman but she refused me. That's why I'm writing this complaint now. It's terrible. I'm extremely disappointed, this has never happened before.

27/07/2026: We visited a couple of years ago and really enjoyed the food. It made up for the lack of atmosphere and the uninspiring location. On our previous visit we had the Saucy Eggs brunch, which was full of flavour, and there were plenty of other appealing options on the menu. This time, however, we weren’t given menus and were simply directed to a chalkboard with five sandwiches listed. We were disappointed but assumed that if they were focusing on a smaller menu, the food would at least be done well. Unfortunately, it was one of the most disappointing meals we’ve had. The chicken and vegetable soup arrived stone cold and tasted awful. The ham and cheese toastie was under-toasted, with barely melted cheese, and the ham had a strange, plastic-like texture. To make matters worse, there were dirty tables throughout the café, the place felt dark and dingy, and the service was virtually non-existent. I rarely leave negative reviews, but it was such a shame to see how much this place has gone downhill since our last visit. Based on this experience, I wouldn’t return.

28/05/2026: Came in this morning for a breakfast Ladies were outside and the cafe was “closed” In front of me one would stand and silently flip the sign and get in. No hello, no anything. I went to the bar to order, had to ask for the food menu, as it wasn’t even offered to me. Accidentally tapped the wrong thing first with my phone — left a standard tip, which is no issue, but not even a thank you from the unhappy lady. The way she looked at me, the zero politeness is so questionable. Like I interrupted her peaceful morning and now got this attitude. I felt she couldn’t care less about anything. The food itself was grand, but I wouldn’t want to feel so unwelcome again so not coming back.
