16/06/2026: Great atmosphere, really lovely staff. Very helpful and efficient. Was a little disappointed with the food. Was just expecting more flavour. Perhaps it was our menu choices as it was our first visit. I would visit again and try more dishes and my stars might change!

10/05/2026: We visited Mak specifically because they offered a coeliac menu. Right from the beginning, they had the coeliac menus ready for us on our table which we appreciated. We ordered the curry, wok fried greens and steamed rice. All were tasty, however we were slightly disappointed as the greens were definitely not wok fried. They tasted to be boiled or steamed and lacked the depth of flavour only achieved from frying in the wok. Although they were good, it tasted like healthy home cooked greens we would have made ourselves at home.

28/09/2026: The selection of tea and coffee is really lovely, but some work needs to be done regarding dietary and cultural restrictions. I asked whether a product contained pork and was told that it did not. It did in fact contain bacon. Thankfully the staff did realise the mistake- and I understand that a lot of foods that fall under the umbrella of pork and it can be challenging to learn, but this training should have been provided to them. Although the sweet treats and the sandwiches that I am able to eat are lovely, I unfortunately will not be returning. Not an ideal spot if one wants to feel confident that one's food preferences- and, even more importantly, potential allergens (thankfully in my case it is only a cultural adversion) -are sufficently understood.

14/09/2026: Such a lovely shop! I have been many times and will return many more. A vast array of teas and coffee beans, a welcoming atmosphere, and staff who are all friendly, facilitating and helpful. I don't know why this place isn't talked about more! One of my favourite coffee places in Dublin.

12/09/2026: This used to be a fantastic restaurant with amazing food and great friendly staff. But there has been a change in management and kitchen staff and everything has gone downhill so badly. Awful experience in every way on our last visit and we will never return again. Such a pity as it was one of our favourite restaurants despite its location and having to walk through drunken smokers at the entrance which is shared with a run down pup on the ground floor.

22/08/2026: Dined in Vagya tonight, service and food was absolutely incredible. The portions were very generous, the drink selection is also great! The staff are all very friendly and helpful, couldn’t recommend more!

02/08/2026: Visited Treetop Restaurant in Clondalkin Village for the first time. The food was decent and the staff seemed pleasant initially. However, after leaving the bill money and a tip on the table, four or five staff members ran out and accused me of leaving without paying. Being falsely accused of theft in Ireland is a very serious matter, and I found the accusation extremely upsetting and defamatory. Because of this experience, I will be taking my custom, including a planned family event, elsewhere.

25/05/2026: The service was okay overall, and the staff were pleasant enough. The coffee was good, but I found it a little pricey for what was offered. While the experience was satisfactory, better value for money would have made the visit more enjoyable.

01/08/2026: Look if you want to experience the best "Spice Bag" its here no where else as is Chicken Chow Mein, oh and of course Honey Ribs. Nothing on the menu will disappoint you. The staff behind the counter are amazing too and the work rate is staggering and the kitchen is so clean. 👌 I dont do photos of my food it wrecks my head when I see people do that so I've added a photo of Trigger without his brush.

27/07/2026: Order: Chicken chop suey, fried noodles, no celery. For €12.50, this was a pretty underwhelming meal. It filled the stomach... just about. Unfortunately, that's the most positive thing I can say. Taste: Very average. Nothing stood out in a good way and it was noticeably over-salted. Not terrible, I've experienced worse, but definitely not something you'd look forward to eating again. Portion: Average. It was just enough to satisfy my hunger, but only barely. Packaging: Disappointing. The food came in two containers inside a plain brown paper bag. No napkins, no fork, no chopsticks. It's a small detail, but it makes the whole experience feel cheap and unfinished. Final thoughts: If you're hungry, you'll eat it. If you're hoping to actually enjoy your meal, you'll probably be disappointed. There are much better Chinese takeaways around for the same money. Would I order from Jumbo Wok again? No.

13/09/2026: We were a large group of 15 people who gathered for a late Sunday lunch to celebrate a family event. The location, views, and ambience were fantastic, making it a wonderful place for a large group to enjoy a relaxed meal while taking in the beautiful surroundings. The service, however, was quite slow, and it took a considerable amount of time for our orders to arrive. With several children in our group, they were understandably hungry and restless while waiting. The desserts also took a long time to arrive, and unfortunately, a few items from the kids’ menu and some drinks never arrived at all. That said, the food was absolutely worth the wait. We ordered burgers, fish and chips, Sunday roast, steak and the baked sea bass, and every single dish was beautifully prepared, perfectly seasoned, and full of flavour. The quality of the food really stood out. Despite the service issues, the fantastic food, stunning views, and lovely ambience won us over. We would certainly return, and hopefully the management team can work on improving the service to elevate what could be an exceptional overall dining experience.
