29/12/2025: Food is amazing and the staff very friendly. I got the goat cheese sambo. Lovely.

01/12/2025: Had an amazing avocado toast and Mocha for breakfast. The manager’s service was outstanding; she’s incredibly friendly and welcoming.

16/12/2025: My regular coffee shop…however during a big rush the people at the coffee machine decided to empty the bin … and not wash their hands after and went straight back to the job

29/11/2025: I only buy chocolates and hot chocolate. I'm reviewing them because these products are exceptional.

04/01/2026: A spot I've frequented over the last decade but not as much in recent years , the food is still as good as ever , big fan of the chicken wings , even though the price has only gone up and the portion gotten smaller . 20 euro for a Caesar salad is also a bit steep even in a cost of living crisis

28/12/2025: Update: (06 11 2025) €2.00 price hike, this is second increase in less than 6 months. So now for a mini meal/half meal it is €14.50 for extremely small portions. Shame this place is getting so expensive now. You are not forewarned either, you are told when paying.

15/10/2025: Food in here has become terrible ever since these new owners took over This place. Cleaboy chipper was one of the best chippers in the town by a mile. But ever since these new owners came the food has gone massively downhill especially in the last year or so,Also the price of food in here is absolutely ridiculous for the food that gets served. I highly recommend not to go here as there is plenty of better chipper's in waterford city.

20/09/2025: I only tried the chicken wrap, therefore I can only speak about that. It wasn't bad, but far from the best one I've had. The meat was a little bit too oily for my taste and didn't sit well in my belly. On the other hand, it's not expensive (atm), so that balances a bit. The service was fast, meaning that the staff is doing their best to serve every customer quickly enough. Overall, a good little spot for takeaway, if your expectations are not very high for the price.

17/01/2026: It’s a nice environment to be in but a double Jameson and Coke was €17.80. Got to admit no warning of that was a bit of a sting Everyone one else enjoyed it though with just beers

22/08/2025: Nice pub. But they put out a sign on Thursday to get people to come in on friday night for "LIVE MUSIC 9pm to late. So we turn up. Music started about 10.20pm. Not impressed.

08/07/2025: Spice bag tray was very good! Not the stringy chicken. Fresh chips and the spicy chicken burger was very good, I think they put pepperoni in it also which was nice. Everything was cooked fresh to order, better chipper than those here in swords

04/01/2026: Just ordered a bottle of wine from Lisa’s Coctail bar. Was so efficient. The guys who delivered it was great. Very professional and a gentleman. I definitely have to visit the place in person for some food

27/01/2026: Have been coming to Eddie Rockets for years (since we were kids) and it used to be so good. Today we got garlic and cheese chips, more garlic sauce than chips, the cheese is straight from a packet of grated cheese - which would be less noticeable if they melted the cheese on top like they used to, but the amount of sauce on the bottom made it inedible. Kinder Bueno milkshake was very mediocre, aside from the fact that they had no vanilla ice cream (replaced by choc), there was no taste of kinder Bueno, again their milkshakes used to be the best around. If you're bothered going here, wear super grippy shoes, it is a genuine hazard how greasey the floors are and they just put wet floor signs everywhere to make up for it - not safe for anyone let alone my pregnant wife. I hate leaving reviews, but I was told I should when I expressed my disappointment at the till. Staff were friendly and professional but I'd be surprised if Eddie's survives at this standard.

11/10/2025: I’m a big coffee fan and have to honestly say it’s the nicest coffee I ever had, the coffee is always consistent and tastes perfect every time! The food is incredible including the tasty buttermilk chicken wrap, the staff are so friendly and amazing to talk to, I go everyday and always have an amazing experience, it’s suitable for all size groups and all ages, it’s a gem of a place! 🙌

20/01/2026: It was a terrible experience because of the dark-haired waitress. First, she kept us waiting for ages to seat us outside, even though the place was empty. She constantly made faces of disgust and contempt throughout the service. We waited over half an hour for her to take our order, calling her the whole time, and she pretended not to hear us, even though the place was empty. Luckily, the Asian waitress was able to serve us better, as the other waitress just kept giving us disgusted looks. It's a nice place, but because of employees like that, it's not worth visiting. We had dinner there on Sunday, January 11th.

19/01/2026: I came in last saturday the 17/1 and ate deep fried chicken and chips. Later that night I had the worst food poisoning ive ever had. Had shiverings and puked multiple times. After 24 hours I finally started feeling better. Will take a long time untill I eat fried chicken and ill never eat at this restaurant again. But the personal was friendly!

06/10/2025: I ordered food from the point kitchen and grill through delivery app. The food was too good. Hot, fresh and very well packed. Highly recommend

04/10/2025: Very quiet. Only one server. Couples walked in and out but we had already ordered. Food not good quality for breakfast overall and not value for money.

07/12/2025: We went to sabatini/ Bombay pantry on Saturday night I booked a week in advance 2 tables of 7, I then went into confirm the reservation and only one table was booked. We were sat waiting 50 minutes to order drinks, the girl serving us wasn’t very friendly. I asked twice to order drinks we were still left waiting I had to go up to the bar to ask her can we order drinks, no apology just I’ll be over now. Half of the drinks came out and half of them were forgotten. It then came down in a can no glass or ice. We were waiting 1 hour and half for the main we didn’t order any starters. We got an apology after for the bad service saying they were understaffed but it was the worst experience I’ve had in a restaurant. Food was 10/10 though

08/11/2025: This is an Italian run by Indians to preface my post. We were brought upstairs to a larger room that is similar to the upstairs of a 2002 pub. No atomosphere, harsh lighting. No candles on the table, not even a salt and pepper shaker. Toilets are disgusting. The stairs was filthy as was the restaurant floor. Staff forgetting to bring glasses for drinks. I felt like they had just bought the restaurant that day and didn’t bother doing anything with it, just opened it to the public! The downstairs room looks beautiful and looked clean but was reserved for people ordering Indian food. Chips were pockets of grease. Would not return.
