22/05/2025: I popped in after the theatre just by chance and the staff and the food were amazing. The food was faultless from the flavour to presentation. I would definitely recommend this place. Absolutely fantastic.

17/05/2025: Worst taste and waste of money seriously today we are really disappointed with the taste and the price they are promoting like 9.95 buffet but it's actual price is 12 euro even though food taste is worst 😕 even one single item in their buffet is not taste good we went another restaurant after that because we can't eat anything without taste 😕 don't waste money sorry to say this again and again but this is the actual truth

20/06/2025: AVOID. Placed an order for a pizza and chicken wings at 19:55. Waited outside for 45 minutes for the food!!! Went inside numerous times to ask if it’s ready, staff kept telling me that it’ll be another minute. Turns out the food was just in a pizza bag all this time. Disappointed as the food we received was cold. Do not recommend.

06/05/2025: Visiting Ireland for the first time! I walked here from my hotel and happy with my choice! I was a little unsure how the pizza here would taste but honestly it was really good! There was something about the sweetness in the sauce that was delicious! I got a 9.5” cheese pizza and it was just enough! I would have given it a 5 star review but am giving it a 4 because really, the red head woman working at the counter was very unpleasant, to where I’d be ok saying rude. Everyone I’ve met out here has been so nice but she just wasn’t :/ GREAT pizza though and the price was also a plus! Only $11 in thought was reasonable!

30/04/2025: A very nice date night spot with good contemporary Chinese food! Many options to choose from! Service was not the greatest however we still enjoyed dinner. I recommend checking them out (reservation recommend).

27/04/2025: Pros: The restaurant itself is absolutely stunning The host on arrival was very welcoming The food was tasty Cons: Service here was entirely absent; extremely disappointing especially considering we ate early and the restaurant was half empty. Had to flag down a waiter to order, had to flag down a waiter when the wrong order was brought (when the food was delivered it was hastily dropped to the table and the waiter left immediately), had to flag down a waiter to get the bill. No check mid-meal to see if everything was okay. Staff were pretty much avoiding eye contact as best they could. The food was very expensive for what it was, but to be fair it was delicious. It really came across that each and every staff member (apart from the host) was very unhappy working there. I won't be back :( Summary: Give this place a miss.

13/03/2025: La decoración es auténtica, el estado de ánimo es relajado y amable, la camarera era fantástica y muy atenta al igual que el tierno bar. La comida era absolutamente fantástico y sin duda volveremos pronto!

21/02/2025: Nos alojamos en un hotel al otro lado de la carretera y este restaurante fue recomendado por el personal de recepción. No teníamos reserva, pero nos dieron una cálida bienvenida y nos pareció la decoración encantadora y atmosférica. Pedimos tres platos principales y encontramos que el tamaño de las porciones era el correcto. Sabroso plato de pollo chispeante fue el ganador, aunque el marido encontró el pollo agridulce menos dulce de lo normal para su gusto. Un encantador par de miembros del personal estaban trabajando duro. Muy recomendable y volveremos.

16/04/2025: Desafortunadamente, mi experiencia aquí fue decepcionada por el servicio frío y desagradable, especialmente decepcionante teniendo en cuenta que vino del gerente. No hubo saludo o bienvenida a la llegada, y ni una sola palabra fue dicha cuando pagué la cuenta. Hacía mucho frío y era personificable. Es una lástima, porque parte de la comida era bastante agradable. Dicho esto, me pareció caro por lo que era. No voy a volver.

28/02/2025: I tried the croissants and a pistachio and blueberry pie, which were exceptional and the prices were decent for the experience. I had the most delicious butter croissant of my life.

14/05/2025: I've been ordering from this chinese for at least 20 years, and I miss the lovely young lady who used to take orders over the phone, now answered by a very stressed, gruff man. However, the food has always been consistently very good and always hot. Orders always very quick, will not change

13/04/2025: Ratio of batter to chicken in chicken balls was 10:1. Curry sauce nice but very salty. Solid but not great.

18/06/2025: Really friendly cafe serving consistently good quality food with attentive efficient staff. I particularly love that they use tea leaves resulting in easily the best pot of tea I've found in Dublin. So many focus on just coffee. Also decent loo roll and paper towels in bathroom a welcome gesture.

28/04/2025: Avoid at all costs, foods not worth the awful atmosphere and if you absolutely have to go pray to god you aren't there the same time as the manager. I mean just look at his replies and ask yourself if this is the guy you want handling your food.

13/05/2025: Ah, No. 27 — where the wine is exquisite, the staff are immaculately polite, and everyone seems to be quietly auditioning for the next season of The Crown. The décor whispered “old money”, the lighting murmured “you don’t belong here”, but the wine said “stay a little longer”. We were greeted with warm smiles and impeccable service, but there was definitely a faint aroma of... exclusivity. Not snobbery exactly — more like a gentle reminder that your jacket should’ve been tailored and your shoes should’ve cost more than your flight. Still, the wine list was truly fantastic. If you’re looking to sip something elegant while pretending you know what “oaky with a hint of leather” means, this is your spot. Would I return? Yes — but next time I’ll wear cufflinks and Google “how to hold a wine glass correctly”.

11/05/2025: We went for a breakfast buffet. The food was good and tasty. Service was a little slow but they have just one person on floor at a time so that is expected.

26/04/2025: I haven’t been here for years and still dream of this place from time to time. No matter what I’ve ordered, it was always great. Highly recommend the taco fries, haven’t found something remotely ever since anywhere I’ve lived.

14/02/2025: What a wonderful place to be in blackrock! The staff at insomnia were fantastic, increadibly kind and helpful after I accidentally spilt my coffee, they couldn’t have been nicer, and made me a fresh one! Great service and great coffee. Well done to the team!

12/02/2025: I’m Turkish and there is a Turkish man which he is probably manager or the owner of the place. He was swearing to the staff and he was so rude to the customers as well. Never again!
