Baker's Corner
Dublin
02/04/2025: Great neighborhood pub. Food was tasty, staff were friendly and nothing was a problem.
01/04/2025: Sadly, closed its doors for the last time on the 31st of March 2025. Will be demolished from the 13th of April.
Hopefully a pub will return to the iconic location in the summer of 2027 🙏

Dunnes Stores- Blackrock
Dublin
25/10/2025: Excellent local supermarket with nearly everything one would need for a weekly shop. Obviously, physical size is the limiting factor so less commonly used items can be difficult or impossible to find.
Staff are friendly and helpful.
Adequate car park that usually suffices but occasionally gets overwhelmed.
Has an array of 7kw chargers - unfortunately 2 or 3 are permanently out of order and reporting this to a manager (repeatedly) is usually met with shoulder shrugging but no action. Very frustrating.
If the chargers were fixed, this store would be a 5* one.
14/09/2025: Every time I am here the staff are so rude. Today I thanked the til operator and said have a good day after he scanned all my items. He looked in the opposite direction, completely ignoring me. It’s not the first time this has happened either. I’m not usually one to post a negative review, but as someone who has worked in customer facing roles for years (so I understand how difficult it can be) I just have always found the customer service here to be appalling it’s so disheartening.

Lean Bean
Dublin
25/09/2025: The food is really good and looks and tastes freshly made. I usually go for the chicken curry and the chicken is nice and tender and doesn’t have that stale and hard feel to it. The portion is very generous and the staff is really friendly. I’ve been eating at Lean Bean one a week for over a year and their food is consistently good and is relatively affordable and healthy. I definitely recommend it!
26/08/2025: The coffee from here has gone downhill. All you can taste is warm milk. You cannot taste the coffee at all. We got an iced mocha and it had loads of chocolate grains at the bottom. Also got a cappuccino and it was bad. Ive given this place a few chances recently but I can't anymore.

Zaytoon
Dublin
15/11/2025: I still don’t understand why you need to order at the door and then grab a table while they have many waiters that can take the order. Restaurant and food is great but just ordering at the counter and getting a paper number seems a bit cheap compared to the price of food you pay.
04/10/2025: Rang just now and asked could I order for collection guy said “Goodbye” and slammed the phone
Guess they don’t do delivery 🤷♂️

Butlers Cafe Stillorgan
Dublin
25/08/2025: A charming spot for chocolate lovers, but renovations are underway
Butlers Chocolate Café on Grafton Street has long been a beloved haven for anyone with a sweet tooth. Tucked in the city centre, it's beautifully inviting—perfect for indulging in rich, creamy coffee and luxury chocolates in an elegant setting.
Lately, though, I’ve noticed a shift. The portions have gotten noticeably smaller, and what used to feel like generous fare now seems just enough—not quite as thrilling as before. Add to that a slight dip in overall quality, and it feels like the magic has dimmed a bit.
24/08/2025: Well it's butlers.... but that aside the cafe is stunning, staff are super polite and helpful and you get to choose a free chocolate with every drink you order

Picnic Baskett
Dublin
10/08/2025: Warning for travellers looking for a nice coffee, avoid this place.
Google maps suggested here for a coffee for us on our journey.
After ordering a cappuccino and latte and waiting over 10min I was handed what I can only describe as what looked like 2 half cups of muck! When I asked which is the cappuccino I was told they are both basically the same, they are instant coffee!
They used instant coffee and warmed milk in the microwave and that's what we got, with a lovely layer of milk skin on the top of it might I add!
I paid 7e for this and regret accepting it, we drank 3 sips, found the milk skin, felt ill and threw away the rest, it was honestly the worst coffee we have ever had.
What annoyed me most was I wasn't told this when I ordered. I worked as a waitress and I would always tell my customers that ordered decaff coffee that we only had instant and if that is OK with them. (We had coffee machines with regular coffee for those who didnt want to drink nor pay (3.50) for a watery instant coffee u get free in a sachet in hotel rooms!).
I expect transparency at the very least as a customer when ordering.
10/08/2025: We stumbled across this place as we were traveling round the area and ordered the half portion dinner's which were delicious and very good value. Would highly recommend the food in this little gem.

IFI Cafe Bar
Dublin
03/02/2026: Popped here for a Sunday brunch….never again! The food was awful, the service was rude and unprofessional, noticed an hair in my food, reported to a waiter an Indian guy I think, the response was shocking! Saying that is that quite usual here!!! Crazy!
I won’t came back never again.
31/01/2026: Errol (the security man.. sorry if i spelled his name wrong) is the finest and kindest gentlemen that ever existed. idk how much you pay him, but pay him more

Crabby Jo's
Dublin
22/03/2026: We went to Howth, and after a long walk, we came in here. My son wanted fish and chips, but he has allergies to dry fried foods and mustard, and that dish contained mustard. But a helpful employee suggested grilling the fish and making it gluten-free. So my son was able to enjoy it. The rest of the food was delicious. The quality-price ratio was good for the location. The staff were friendly, and the wait was relatively short (considering the restaurant was packed).
22/03/2026: I was there just before noon. It was very busy on a Saturday. The staff were still friendly, even if a bit stressed, and the food was good. It got quite noisy after a while because of the large number of people. Otherwise, I'd gladly go again.

Yum Thai
Dublin
28/02/2026: Good food, tasty, the portions are quite large; if you're not very hungry, one portion could easily share between two people. Recommended when you want something quick. The seating area inside is very small.
22/02/2026: Don’t go here…
Got the noodles with spring roll…
The noodles were cold andlooked like they were made of plastic!
The spring rolls were 95% flour and 5% filling.

Dylan Hotel
Dublin
02/04/2026: Absolutely superb stay. The room was spacious, beautifully decorated and extremely comfortable. The location was quiet, away from the noise from baggot st, but close enough to it's buzz:). The staff was the best part, especially Valentina and Pierre, who made me feel welcomed from the very second I stepped into the hotel. Thanks for a lovely stay!
23/03/2026: Dylan Hotel is a luxury stay away from the hustle and bustle of the Dublin City center. We had a relaxing stay. Breakfast was delicious and I was able to work in the bar area during the day. The staff is excellent - everyone we encountered was friendly and professional to the utmost degree.

The Clockwork Door
Dublin
23/04/2025: A temporal experiment where minutes become currency in this pay-per-minute social space. Board game selection ranges from Neolithic to post-digital. The tea station's perpetual simmer creates a comforting temporal anchor in this chronologically fluid environment.
13/04/2025: Was looking forward to trying it but cancelled our booking last minute!
