The best restaurants in Dublin

20/09/2024: It's one of our favourite takeaways, but the app says it doesn't deliver to us anymore after almost 10 years of weekly orders. We can still order through just eat but not very fond of doing so.

10/09/2024: Amazing food and service. Would recommend the Panang curry.

25/10/2024: The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was fantastic creating the perfect ambiance for a memorable meal. The music added a lively touch, and there was even some entertainment inside, making it a fun and engaging experience overall.

18/10/2024: Double burger bacon cheeseburger is fire and the worker cooked this up in a jiffy. No complaints here.

11/11/2024: We like to visit whenever we can as the food is always delicious and the service is very good. Although I have taken off a couple of stars for service, because there is a middle age lady who works there and she can be extremely annoying. She literally stares at the customers while they are eating and it’s very annoying. She doesn’t have good English so some orders are wrong when you get served. Instead of being helpful, it is off putting. My only other issue is the cutlery, I have arthritis in my hands, as does my wife, and it is so difficult to balance the knife and fork and use. We have actually heard other couples discussing bringing their own knives and forks to the restaurant.

11/09/2024: Lovely spot. Currently doing a starter and main for €20. Rice or chips included. Food is gorgeous. Staff are lovely.

18/08/2024: We have eaten here a number of times and it never let's us down. Staff are very friendly and food has always been spot on. I have seen some of the bad reviews but I have never had a bad experienced , on the contrary it has always been good 👍

17/08/2024: Never eaten in the place but they've dropped their outdated looking menus all over the main swords road and on the footpaths outside multiple gardens. Nice marketing tactic

01/09/2024: The employees aren't friendly. We were there still and they started cleaning, the floor got wet and slippery. Pub was still open and the team asked us to leave. They don't like to take the glasses off the tables and how we forget when they went to remove them were very rude. It was horrible.

03/09/2024: (Originally emailed to Teddy's August 20 but delivery failed as 'inactive and full mailbox'; then messaged on teddy's website but no reply) Dear Teddys, RE : Recent Customer Visit Five of us, as 2 adults and 3 children, visited the main Teddys in Dun Laoighaire last evening, August 19th, about 8PM. Like others in the queue, we were prepared to wait 20 minutes, the expectation being the product would be worthwhile : Three 99s; a sprinkle 99; a marshmallow 99. The operator, for three 99s, needlessly held all cones in one hand, under the dispenser, resulting in three smaller than usual portions of whip and all stuck together. Chocolate in place, he handed out all three 99s, still in the one hand, expecting me to nimbly slide all 3 out of his hand and into mine; having them all welded together probably saved me from dropping some or all. We then had to carefully separate them without loss. The other four in my party were on holiday from USA and this wasn't the experience I wanted and had queued for. In contrast, some weeks ago, of a sunny morning, I bought two plain cones which were dispensed, one at a time, then handed to me, one at a time, paid my money and off I went, quite happy. I know the price and the product should be standard, repeatable and predictable. That day, I bought from the larger sliding-window and from where I can clearly see the menu and prices. Again, in contrast, last night I queued for the smaller window but could see no prices (without leaving the queue). Your product has a reputation and heritage and has people queueing for it. I encourage Teddys to make some small but significant changes to ensure that product's future. Don't shoot yourself in the face with complacency. Yours hopefully, PS Having read the other reviews here on trip advisor, my experience is common; no replies from Teddy's. Says it all.

01/11/2024: Unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. The food was very dry and lacked flavor, which was surprising given the positive reviews I had seen before my visit. The staff’s attitude was another letdown. They seemed unapproachable and treated us in a dismissive way, making the atmosphere uncomfortable. Good service goes a long way in enhancing a dining experience, but it was clearly missing here. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this place unless there are significant improvements in both food quality and customer service.

30/10/2024: Horrible, didn't go there my meat clearly had an unbearable taste! (I couldn't eat it fortunately the smell was too strong...) I regretted not having read the reviews before. He would need to have a good health check!

08/11/2024: This got to be the best chipper in the Dublin 9 area. Tried almost every chip shop around, but this corner hiding spot is now my number one chipper in the area. It's worth every penny spent and food absolutely 💯 👌 Kids love it too!

12/10/2024: San marino in santry is absolutely gorgeous I have never had a bad experience with them, their drivers are nice and always say hi to my dog, they make sure to always read the instructions i leave of the food on the app, and they always give great fresh hot food for such a great price. I recommend san marino for anyone. They have a great wide selection of food also, their pizza and 1/4 pounder are my personal favourites. The delivery time is also outstanding overall I'd give 10/10.

27/10/2024: Por favor, no pida de este restaurante a menos que esté feliz de revivir (recibir) una pizza muy quemada - y realmente quiero decir revivir. Según su departamento de quejas, se llama chorizo oscuro, te refieres a quemado. Nos quejamos y la segunda pizza todavía estaba quemada. ¿En serio?

05/11/2024: Like supervalue forgot about this place never have half the supervalue own brand stuff. Always a manky smell in it to near the back and the smell of the machine at the front 5 euro for a pack of kids water with that crappy repak. Kids water u think they will keep the bottles safe when in school or else where. Like you want us drinking unsafe tap water anyway ... .... ..... .....
