23/03/2025: The food was really excellent. However the location lacks ambiente and is way too noisy. Staff is very nice but not very helpful about the food expérience. Basically they were simply stating the same thing as listed in the Menu, no added value or insight. Two of our courses were served in the wrong order.
Waiting times between dishes were also quite random and sometimes we got our food after others that arrived half an hour after us.
The food is good but to make it worth the full price it would be good to the see the expérience extended to the whole establishment.

09/04/2025: Great Pre Theatre Menu available all evening on Mondays and Tuesdays. The only disappointment was that the advertised ribeye steak option was replaced by striploin, otherwise the meal would have warranted 5 stars.

11/04/2025: I was in this restaurant for a short visit to downtown Dublin on a business trip. Given my arrival time I thought I could not find a place open for lunch (it was about 2.00 in the afternoon) and instead, I was amazed that the kitchen was open regularly. I ate the fish soup and the fish and chips, the latter the best I have eaten in recent years, better than those tried in the UK. Fantastic the waitress or the owner, originally from Eastern Europe but that gave me a nice culinary journey in Irish traditions. Highly recommended considering that next door is also the Tample Bar which is an icon of Irish live music.

08/03/2025: We were lucky enough to eat in Liath yesterday evening and it was a truly spectacular experience, extraordinary food and a truly incredible atmosphere. Each dish, which all look like art work, were served by the same incredibly talented chefs who created them in the kitchen that you can see from your table. We’re were lucky enough to be served in a number of occasions by Damien, which was very special. Ailish, the restaurant manager, is wonderfully helpful, and has a great warmth and balance between friendly and professional. I couldn’t recommend this restaurant enough.

06/02/2025: I come here about once a month when travelling in dublin and every time the coffee and food is amazing. the staff are nice and friendly as well. the pastries are tasty and their sausage rolls are unique flavours which i love. i usually get the vegetarian cheddar and red pepper roll. the only reason it doesnt get 5 stars is because the seating could be better.

14/03/2025: Unassuming from the outside but honestly feels like a hidden gem! Absolutely love the mugs for sitting in. Cappuccino had an amazing amount of foam and the baristas were so nice. Coffee flavour is well rounded and the music selection is so good too!
