06/09/2025: We came to try the famous Scotch eggs. But they told us that two portions were too small to eat there and "forced" us to order something else from the menu to stay there.
05/09/2025: Not only an interesting history to this restaurant but great locally sourced menu. A really nice balance of dishes, imaginative and tasty. A great vibe, friendly but efficient.
Would definitely recommend for couples small groups.

30/08/2025: Thamel is such a gem! The value for money here is absolutely incredible. I’ve tried both dine-in and takeout and both experiences were excellent. The Sherpali Chicken deserves a special mention – hands down one of the best takeout dishes I’ve ever had, perfectly balanced with sweet and spicy flavors. Portion sizes are generous, prices are very fair, and the food is consistently delicious. Highly recommend to anyone looking for authentic Indian/Nepalese flavors at great value.
08/08/2025: This is by far the best Nepalese Restaurant in Dublin. Was in town for a short stay and Thamel was the best part of it. Definitely try the Mo:Mo when you're there !!!

23/07/2025: So thrilled we got to eat in an Eddie rockets diner again, after a 20 odd year wait. Do wish they expand into uk.
The food was served hot and delicious, milkshakes are heavenly and the staff friendly and welcoming.
Our best meal whilst visiting dalkey.
Highly recommend.

14/08/2025: We were welcomed here within seconds and asked if we wanted coffee or tea before we even wandered over to a table. Lovely welcoming atmosphere when you’re jetlagged! My husband had the full Irish breakfast and I had the similar but vegetarian with an egg. I wasn’t sure about what kind of toast was on offer and when I heard someone Order soda bread toast, I hopped up and asked if I could change my toast order and he was extremely accommodating, even though my first order was already on the go. Great service, great atmosphere, terrific prices. A beautiful start to a magical week in Ireland! Sending love from Canada.

06/08/2025: Well, what can I say about Bunsen? It’s truly the paradise of burgers. You might be surprised by the small menu at first, but once you try it, you’ll realize there’s no need for more. Sometimes less really is better, and here, they’ve perfected that philosophy

19/08/2025: This is such a lovely corner shop! Really fresh and delicious sandwiches, wraps and salads plus they make their own overnight oats and homemade baked goods and the coffee is excellent. They also carry the biggest eggs that also often have double yolks for an excellent price and have some very nice treats in the back, including coffee beans roasted in dingle and other local Irish goods. There are picnic tables out in front where locals meet. The family that run the shop are lovely and also speak Irish— so give your cúpla focal a go!
