The best restaurants in Dublin

30/12/2025: Really nice cozy pub. Rumour has it you can sometimes see Colin Farrell there. Didn't seem him, there. 😅 Cherrs 🍻

15/12/2025: Irish pub, very large and typically warm. Nice family atmosphere in the evenings. There are six rooms, located just above the main building, but they're still quite well soundproofed. They don't serve breakfast in the morning, but there are other places nearby.

12/03/2026: I decided to have my graduation dinner at Featherblade, and I was absolutely delighted with my choice. Fantastic service and great food!

12/03/2026: Been a few times and it’s always been good but this was our first weekday visit. Steak was chewy, burger was chewy (all four of them) and we ordered six sides and only four arrived. Despite us reminding the server twice it took ten minutes to bring the extra chips by which time one of our group had finished their burger. He didn’t even blink when we complained. It costs virtually nothing to comp us a tea or coffee as an apology but nothing. The manager happened to be clearing dishes from the table sometimes later and he asked if we enjoyed our meal and we told him we didn’t and he did offer a dessert on the house but at this stage we didn’t even want to hang around. Won’t be going again which is a shame.

20/03/2026: I had the Thai Sweet Chili Chicken and it was absolutely amazing. The flavors were perfectly balanced and the sauce was spot on. Great food, friendly service, and a really nice atmosphere. I’ll definitely be coming back

03/02/2026: Excellent food, average price for the general vicinity in the Dunlaoghaire Rathdown area, limited parking adjacent but the SuperValu carpark opposite usually has plenty of space. A bit lacking in atmosphere and some boisterous noisy customers. On several visits I found the floor service staff to be lacking and disinterested. However I went there specifically for the good food and had to ask for service, bill payment came more promptly.

19/01/2026: Good carvery with decent portions. It was very bust for Sunday lunch but we managed to get a seat at the bar. The turkey was nicely cooked and the gravy was really good too.

02/03/2026: The only good thing they have is the coffee and the soups, but they have to massively improve the banh mi knockoff, they put little to no pate, probably no vietnamese mayo at all, not enough meat. Banh Mi should burst in fillings, theirs is more bread than fillings. But I get it, no competition, mean no point to deliver better food.

20/10/2025: This place has a very cute vibe! The food was delicious and the drinks were amazing. When I couldn’t figure out what I wanted to drink, the bartender personally came over and asked some questions to help recommend an amazing drink!

25/12/2025: Really poor service for a second time at this branch, last time we ate here the waiter left the food on the table with a grunt and no explanation of what the dish was or who it was for. This time it was a take away order with the staff member completely ignoring our presence for several minutes whilst they continue to wash dishes at the counter. Never again. Do better.

22/10/2025: Lorna and Ger are some of the most amazing staff I've ever had the pleasure of experiencing. Bibi made me the best toastie I've ever had in Dublin. We won't mention Steve but all in all great establishment! highly recommend and I'll certainly be back!

15/12/2025: La Peniche is a really unique experience for me. Dining while cruising the canal is something you don’t do every day. The trip through the old locks was great craic and added real charm. Food was great, service was sound, and the atmosphere was relaxed. Not perfect, but well worth it for the novelty alone. Would happily do it again.
