The best restaurants in Dublin

11/03/2026: We went on sunday, sat at table and orded food at 14.00. At 15.30 we had to go to the airport and just one plate was served, and the other thing we ordered wasn't. We had previously warned the waiter (a very unpleasant man) that we had to go and that we couldn't wait that much. Far from apologizing, he said that we had to pay for the full meal even though we couldn't eat it, and although we were respectful he started asking about our origins. Bad experience and very unpolite waiter

09/03/2026: It was absolutely great, the staff was super nice, deserves 10 stars, the best experience in Dublin. Such an awesome experience, the staff was just wonderful. Definitely a place worth visiting, the experimental beers are absolutely amazing.

16/09/2025: The cake was beautiful and tasted amazing 😊. Cake was delivered on time and in perfect condition, communucation with staff was brilliant. Would recommend for every occasion.

07/09/2025: We ordered a cake for our son’s Christening from Eve’s Cakes and couldn’t have been happier with how it looked and tasted. It was the perfect show stopping centrepiece to our table on the day. Ordering and paying for the cake was a simple online process, with Jaanika confirming the order via email. The cake itself was delivered early on the morning of the christening and came well protected and with instructions on storage and how to serve it. We ordered a 8x6” vanilla buttercream cake and that was the perfect amount for 45 people. The cake itself tasted exceptional and was so moist and beautifully decorated. We will 100% be ordering from Eve’s Cakes again.

17/10/2025: I had the pleasure of attending the barista course today, and it exceeded my expectations. The instructor was friendly, professional, and passionate about coffee. The class was both informative and enjoyable. I would strongly recommend it to others.

26/10/2025: Well done to Cris on building such a great business! I contacted him on relatively short notice hoping to get a showstopper of a cake for a big birthday and he completely delivered. The mirror glaze on the cakes looks stunning. I was worried that the cake might look better than it tastes but I can vouch that the blueberry/vanilla tastes delicious. The flavours were brilliantly balanced and it was nice and light too. I look forward to an excuse to come back and try another. Fair play to him for being so responsive on WhatsApp too.

11/10/2025: Amazing cake, I got the Blueberry & vanilla cake, delicious and divine had this cake for my siblings birthday, they were satisfied, (I know on the photo it looks a bit smudged but that was me) amazing 10/10, would recommend 100% and would definitely order again ❤️

27/03/2026: Saddle up baby cause I'm from the heart of BBQ territory, Texas. It's so rare that I leave a 1 star but this place needs it based on their claim of "After much research throughout the States"....a direct quote from their website btw. This is not in any way shape or form American bbq or whatever they want to think their selling in there. It was wholly disgusting. We ordered brisket, ribs, beans, coleslaw & cornbread. The meat feel apart simply because it was cooked to death in liquid smoke, nasty (no pits smoking things around here). The bbq sauces had a strange aftertaste with no hint of a vinegar base. The sides were questionable & the sad sad dry cornbread wasn't actually cornbread (maybe 75% flour & 25% cornmeal). We've never tasted anything quite like it & while we absolutely hate wasting food, it had to be done. We simply couldn't force ourselves to eat another bite. Everything else we ate in Dublin was incredible (several of the best meals of our entire lives) so thankfully this was one of the very last meals of the trip. Cause if this had been the first it would've set a complete different tone for our time there. Oh & it was really expensive for what little was on our tray. And side note we made a reservation not knowing it would be dead when we got there. When we arrived the hostess kept insisting that we needed a reservation to sit which we had but the place was completely dead, we were the only ones in the place others than 1 man. Just really odd. Overall what a joke. Never again.

22/03/2026: Without a doubt, the best meal we had in Dublin! After experiencing the more subtle flavors of Irish cuisine, this barbecue place was a flavorful highlight. The fries were perfectly seasoned, and the mac and cheese was incredible – seriously, top 5 best I've ever had. If you're looking for a place with bold, delicious flavors while in Ireland, you've gotta try this spot!

04/11/2025: A Brilliant Find - Mister Magpie Coffee Mister Magpie Coffee is a gem in Dublin! We popped in for a quick coffee on our way to the market, and despite the busy atmosphere, the baristas worked quickly and efficiently, getting us our caffeine fix in no time. The coffee was absolutely delicious - well-balanced, rich, and expertly brewed. Highlights: - Exceptional Coffee: Delicious, well-balanced coffee that hit the spot - Quick Service: Busy but speedy baristas kept the line moving - Great Spot: Perfect stop for a pre-market caffeine boost Mister Magpie Coffee is, hands down, the best coffee shop in Dublin! Can't wait to return and savor another cup.

30/10/2025: The pancake was the most delicious one I’ve ever had! It was so soft — like biting into a cloud — and every piece was full of flavour. Honestly, what was that? OMG, I loved it! The staff were also incredibly friendly, and I felt completely at home 🥹

19/08/2025: Visited here numerous times whilst on a stag weekend. Always very welcoming, excellent beer selection and prices. Toastie and a Guinness for 8 euros is great value for money. Easily the best Guinness we had all weekend.

06/03/2026: Was there fir a retirement party and we had the outside covered venue to ourselves. Great venue, brilliant atmosphere, tasty food and super friendly staff. Great place for a quiet good value pint or venue for a get together

23/03/2026: This was a great choice to eat at. The place next to this took ages to seat us so we went here instead and the food was excellent 👍 We got a seat right away and served really fast. The food was delicious, i enjoyed the Guiness stew and the garlic and cheese bread starter was absolutely fenomenal. What we didn't appreciate is the lady worker who rushingly placed the bill on our table, no explanation, we didn't even ask for it. One of us was still eating their dessert. Then came back demanding that us pay right now. As said we haven't asked for the bill and we didn't work out how much we need to pay each just yet. She was rude and unapologetic for behaving this way. She didn't tell us that they need to table and we are welcome to finish out drinks (as we still had quite a lot to drink) downstairs in their bar. By the way... 10.5 euros for a Koppeberg is just pure theft, i guess that's why they didn't have a drinks menu to give us.

16/03/2026: Riccardo and his team hosted my father's 80th birthday. The team was amazing with the party planning, menus etc. We are so glad that we picked Bellagio for my father's 80th and family reunion (my father having grown up in Terenure). We could not have hoped for a better place to celebrate than at Bellagio. The food and everything was exceptional, the pasta, pizza, tiramisu a delight. The restaurant was clearly well liked as it was busy and had a lovely atmosphere. Bellagio was also spotlessly clean.

13/03/2026: As Italians, everything was truly delicious. The location was beautiful and evocative, and the coffee was also exceptional.

13/03/2026: Our seafood chowder had lots of seafood but the cream was milky tasting there was no taste lack of flavour in the chowder. Quite disappointed. We were also moved to accommodate others, I would have rather they moved people to sit with us instead of moving us while we sat first.
