14/11/2024: cinema was shocking would never return staff made me feel very intimidated by standing there watching me then to get removed 10 minutes into the film for “making noise” also manager and all the staff were very rude and popcorn is stale

14/11/2024: This cinema is not an enjoyable experience,the popcorn is stale the snacks are too overpriced,i was removed from the screening within the first 10 minutes off the movie for NO reason because someone “complained” about me talking when i was not talking the only time i spoke was wen a staff member stood over me and watched me like i was a child i felt very intimidated she then told me to leave and i did i asked to speak to a manger the manger who would not give me a refund was very rude and raised her voice loudly to me,very rude staff i would never return here

01/11/2024: Murphy's beer on tap was great, and the sweet cake with ice cream dessert was also great. But I didn't like that they gave plain water from the tap with the smell of chlorine, why? The atmosphere is just great, a real Pub!

I hadn't been to the restaurant for many years as I moved away from Dublin, the restaurant was always exceptional and it did not disappoint on returning after so many years. The food was fresh, delicious, flavorful and beautifully presented. I would highly recommend a visit here it won't disappoint.

09/11/2024: We were visiting our son who was studying abroad in Ireland. We were staying in Dun Laoghaire, and happened upon a sign for the restaurant advertising lobster thermidor. Well, we knew we had to come back for dinner, and it was the most AMAZING meal! It was a quiet Sunday night, so we were the only customers, and Daniel invited us into the kitchen to watch him cook scallops! Never had that happen before! The fresh caught scallops were the best I’ve had, and we live by the sea in California. My husband had the lobster bisque, which you can see in other reviews, it’s is made with care and is fantastic! For mains I had the lobster thermidor, my husband had the duck, and our son had the lamb shanks. All were exceptional. For dessert we had the profiteroles, the fried ice cream, and crème caramel. We were full, but still managed to finish dessert! All of this was paired with a wonderful wine Daniel recommended. The price for the meal and wine were remarkable given the high level of quality. Thank you, Daniel, for one of the most memorable meals we have ever had!

22/06/2024: I must say coming from California with tons of salad options..this was an outstanding salad..Claire was super attentive to our needs and allergies..and she worked up a salad of whole cloth from scratch essentially..you can feel she takes great pride in her work and it shows..we had an engaging conversation with after the close of business. We are saddened that we can't go go again since we are flying out.

01/09/2024: One of my favourite vegan brunch spot in Dublin City. Highly recommend if you want to experience full Irish breakfast or an amazing options in vegan ciabatta/ wrap . Do try their vegan muffins and also they do the best edible art on your coffee . Staff is very kind .

01/09/2024: The only down side is that it is small and can get quite cramped. That is a sign of how good it is. Otherwise, great coffer and good food.

09/11/2024: We went for dinner tonight and the food was lovely as usual, when we were sat at our table a waitress came over to ask us if we would like any water for the table, she asked if we’d prefer still or sparkling and as we have been here over 10 times in the past 2 years we said still and each other time bar tonight we received still tap water in a glass bottle. Tonight we got still water in a different bottle which we assumed was just a different bottle the restaurant was using. When we got our bill we seen that we were charged €11 for the water (we had 2 bottles), I told the waitress about the confusion and as we thought it was tap water and she initially said she can’t do anything about it, she then offered to take one off the bill. Just letting people know as I’ve never experienced asking for water and then getting charged for it.
