The best restaurants in Dublin

01/10/2026: Food was great but my mum was shouted at quite aggressively in front of the whole busy restaurant by the waitress for no reason. She was waiting for me to come back from the restroom so I could pay the bill but the waitress shouted at her while she was alone, in a way that seemed like she was accusing her of trying to leave without paying. We’ve never been treated like that in a restaurant before and it put a sour taste on the first 2 HOURS of our holiday. She never apologised for her misunderstanding either. Very jarring, wouldn’t go back.

13/09/2026: Got seated very fast and we where served by Robyn. The boneless bites fantastic as per usual always a favourite and the pizza is just divine. Couldnt recommend food and service highly enough

24/09/2026: We organised a team dinner at this venue, and it comfortably accommodated our large group. The service was excellent throughout the evening. While the food options were generally good, vegetarian choices were limited (it is a steakhouse after all). The pricing for a three course menu was reasonable.

23/09/2026: I have to say I heard mixed reviews about the food before going here, but I thought the food was excellent. We had steaks (Ribeye is amazing), prawns for a starter, and scallops for a main. The scallops were big and so tasty. Steak was amazing as well - I was so pleasantly surprised by the food. The only drawback was the service was very slow. It did get very busy in the evening, however I think they should have more wait staff if they can't keep up with the volume. From start to finish we were there for over 3 hours and waited a long time before each course - we had to track down the waiter and ask to for next course several times. That is the only drawback, food was really good and I'd go back again.

19/09/2026: What a fantastic range of tea! There are plenty of green teas to choose from, as well as rooibos and fruit teas. Coffee isn’t my cup of tea, but apparently it is very good too. Probably the best tea shop in Dublin! There are loads of different areas to sit inside. The pastries also look very good, especially the cinnamon role. Clean, but with a homely, lived in feeling. Prices are standard for the city.

30/09/2026: A welcoming and quaint pub, it's a city institution and one of the oldest in the country. Excellent beers and food, with an exquisite staff. A must-see if you're visiting Dublin—it's not every day you get to enjoy a pint where a Viking might once have had one!

15/08/2026: The National Gallery of Ireland was a wonderful experience! The gallery was clean, well maintained, and conveniently provided clean, accessible restrooms. I especially enjoyed seeing Van Gogh alongside so many other remarkable works of art. The chronological organization made it easy to follow the development of art through different periods and understand how styles and ideas evolved over time. A beautiful, educational, and enjoyable visit!

31/08/2026: Hotel restaurant, not bad but not great - pretty pricy overall

30/08/2026: Food has gone way overpriced for what you are getting burger and fries €25 nothing special about the burger to be honest, also the steak sandwich €25 cheap roll with little flavour. I have been eating here years now as I’m a local in the area but after my last two visits I won’t be eating here again unfortunately. The restaurant itself is beautiful and staff so nice but the food is very basic for the price they are charging

30/09/2026: My daughter and I where staying in downtown Dublin and drove 20 minutes just to come to BaaBaa. Such a cute little neighborhood Cafe. Food was delicious and the service was great. Locally owned and mom was helping out for the day. Perfect to go before going to Phoenix Park. Thank you for you hospitality! 😁

24/09/2026: These guys are amazing, so accommodating, welcoming and has a vibe to it of your cool aunty running a cafe! Foods delicious, aesthetic for photos, you cannot go wrong!! Lovely matcha and coffee and overall lovely experience :)

15/09/2026: The margarita pizza was absolutely delicious and reminded me of pizza in Italy. It also was a reasonable price, especially for the area, being right outside Temple Bar.

27/09/2026: Seen the new resident evil movie, very comfortable seating. Only let down was no seat allocation so if you were late to a sold out movie with more than 3 you could find yourself sitting apart.

18/09/2026: Exceptionally fresh seafood, cooked to perfection - it only took one visit to understand the hype and the long queues on the opposite side of the road during the weekends. The service is quick and friendly. Everything is served tapas-style and cooked fresh to order. The interior is kept rather rustic and simple, space is very limited, so be prepared to sit quite narrowly. As there was no tap water available due to water pressure issues, they gave us a bottle of water free of charge, which I thought was a good solution. Also loved the option to participate in building the collection of banknotes on the walls — by donating a note, you are entered into a monthly draw for an Octopussy T-shirt. Our choice: Carlingford Oysters - 3,25 EUR per oyster Gambas Picantes, cooked in chilli, ginger & garlic butter - 14 EUR Organic Irish rope mussels cooked in a white wine sauce with garlic, shallots and cream - 16 EUR Hummus with a caramelised red onion marmalade - 12 EUR Some Pinot Grigio to pair it with (only wines available, no beers or ciders) Check for two: 70 EUR with tips Overall verdict: 10/10

And left with smiles on our faces 😁 A delicious meal served in record time… the taste of the teriyaki salmon will remain etched in my memory, as will the seafood soup 🌊 If you are looking for a quick and delicious meal, all you have to do is walk through the door of this small but superb restaurant.
