19/12/2025: Very busy time of year, 18th December, all tables gone by 2pm. Get there early this time of year folks. Like early. There will be people waiting for table opportunities i sode. Place is done up nice, difficult to give indept review given how busy it was. Staff were very nice. Place decorated well as youd expect with Christmas decorations. Worth a visit this Christmas.

28/09/2025: Surprised to arrive to find a car queuing system but in a small car park that can’t accommodate it. It was difficult to abandon it and get back out. Frustrating.

24/11/2025: Excellent coffee and efficient service. The staff are young, friendly and have a great taste in music! In the morning the place is bright and offers a lovely place to sit or to just to pick up your coffee and go.

20/11/2025: Delicious falafel wrap. When the sunlight hits the interior it’s magical. Extra point for good music playing in the background :))

11/10/2025: This restaurant and its sister restaurant Konkan have fallen off a cliff in terms of quality but have raised prices. The lamb in my order was not shoulder or shank, it had a lower cut flavor which would have been fine if it had been cooked long enough, every pice of lamb had unrendered fat and cartilage.

20/06/2025: Delicious food at a good price. The prawns were amazing. The service was stellar. I booked a table for dinner for my partners birthday, they played happy birthday (at a reasonable volume so as not to disturb other diners) & brought him a slice of delicious chocolate cake with candle and all. It was a lovely touch and a great end to the fantastic meal. I look forward to eating here again soon.

16/12/2025: This is a cafe with a great atmosphere along the Lipi River. While it doesn't offer a river view, you can still enjoy your coffee in comfort. There's a second floor space for light work. However, it's not very spacious, so it's not ideal for long sittings. It's ideal for an hour or two! The banana loaf was delicious!

07/12/2025: Although a cocktail place I drank whiskey all night - some great bottles available - Irish of course but Scottish too. A mix of different seating arrangements. We were on a table with a sofa which allowed for relaxed drinking watching the punters go by. Great evening.

06/12/2025: Had a booking for Friday 5th December, booked on the back of family recommendations. Turned up after walking in the rain for a booking at 2.15pm, door was answered and we were told that the staff member was on her own and could not take our booking, no prior warning was given, no call or message so we left. Really disappointing.

07/09/2025: Beanhive? More like Queuehive. This place should hand out sleeping bags with every order, because you’ll be here long enough to consider filing for squatter’s rights. I waited so long for a sandwich I started a new life, paid taxes, and raised a family in the queue. And yet… when it finally landed in front of me, it was incredible. Annoyingly good. The kind of sandwich that makes you angry because you can’t even stay mad at it. So yeah, Beanhive on Dawson Street: where time stands still, staff move at the speed of interpretive dance, and the food is frustratingly delicious.

06/12/2025: Booked in for the 1 hour taster course. Great instructors, equipment was all in good condition. The different options were explained really well and the pace of the course was really well layed out. Would be happy to recommend Awesome walls for parties, a group activity, or something dofferent to do with friends or family.

24/11/2025: The Ramen is excellent, very flavoured broth. The place is charming without being too classy. Nice place to go with friends and family. The staff is great and friendly. We love to watch Asian cuisine realities and would love to try some new things, so the staff helped us with this. Well recommended.

16/11/2025: My wife and I eat here whenever we are in the area and the food is always absolutely exceptional , however the service has always been extremely lacking, we ignored this poor service due to the food quality , that was until tonight when we had dinner and the service was even worse than normal. We had to ask for cutlery and salt, food did not come out together (even though we specifically requested this due to issues we’ve had here before) and not once did any server come to the table to see if we wanted anything else (had to approach the till twice during our meal to get another drink). This dreadful service was all explained when we saw a ‘Service Charge’ now added to the bill, now we would always be ones for leaving a tip, especially a good one if it has been earned, but obviously the staff don’t even bother with the basics now as the service charge is part of the bill. We won’t be returning again.

06/12/2025: Best food I’ve had in Dublin and the service was fantastic. Absolutely amazing strawberry wine and the beer was great too. Highly recommend the scotch egg and the crab! Thank you!

02/12/2025: Food sucked. Everything was ridiculously overpriced and without flavour. Brought a bill first and then took it away and brought it with 12.5 service charge over an overpriced dinner because we were 5.

30/10/2025: A wonderful café in Dublin! We had lunch here — chicken with vegetables and potatoes, and a burger with fries. Everything was beautifully presented and tasted amazing: the chicken was juicy, the vegetables fresh, and the sauce perfectly balanced the dish. The burger was rich in flavor, with melted cheese, fresh veggies, and a nicely toasted bun. Cozy atmosphere, quick and friendly service. Great spot for lunch — I’ll definitely come back!
