The best restaurants in Dublin

20/10/2024: This is a historic place as the oldest pub still operating in Dublin. Go for a pint, not for the food. The food is horridness. I had the cabbage with bacon. The bacon is so salty that there should be a warning on the menu for folks with cardiac insufficiency.

17/10/2024: The Brazen Head pub in Dublin carries a weighty reputation that in reality can only reflect its age. I hate to cast aspersions on it - and I’m not going to - but it’s nothing special however it is worth going to for no other reason than its value for money.

05/11/2024: Great location with views of the Liffey River and the food was delicious. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable with a nice choice of wines

11/10/2024: The cutest little cafe, perfect to grab a pastry and coffee and sit in (or take it to go!!!). When I visited I got the sausage roll (AMAZING and HUGE) with an iced latte and sat right at their front bar. The man working there when I visited (long dark hair, in a headband) was so lovely, he had such a warm positive energy and clearly loves his job. He greeted every single customer with a smile!! I’m from out of the country just visiting but I would highly recommend this place.

27/10/2024: We held a private function in their room off the main bar. A lovely cosy room that could be used to host so many occasions. Room was clean. Food was excellent and the staff couldn't have been nicer. We would highly recommend this hidden treasure for any function.

14/10/2024: I was assisted by the staff at this restaurant when I was lost and stuck with a dead phone battery in the middle of the night. When nobody else was willing to help the waitress here kindly assisted me. I am grateful to her and the restaurant’s assistance and if you treat your patrons as well as you looked after me then the dining experience here must be fantastic. Thanks very, very much.

05/10/2024: Everything was absolutely wonderful. Our waitress was very nice and the food came out in a timely fashion. And the food was delicious. The inside was great and the bathroom was top notch. Overall great experience.

14/11/2024: I came a couple weeks ago with two others one of whom is vegetarian. We had a very friendly greeting at the door! We were really happy to find lots of vegetarian options. The portion sizes were great and the food tasted delicious. Overall its very reasonably priced, the food is good and the service is super quick and friendly, big shout out to Enko who made are visit really special. Definitely recommend

03/11/2024: Food was great! Atmosphere was lovely. Our servers were fantastic. We had filet, beef tartare, seafood risotto, mushroom risotto, chicken, and a lovely salad. Would return.

26/05/2024: I ordered an omelette with feta and Spinach it arrived with rocket instead of Spinach nothing was said my partner was given the wrong order so he had to wait while I ate my omelette otherwise it would go cold. I had finished my omelette 10 mins, and his order still hadn't arrived he got up, frustrated, paid enough to cover, and we left. His meal just arrived, but at that stage, we were too annoyed. If they had explained the delay or apologised, it would have been something but no apology. It seemed they had plenty of staff, but lots of clients were waiting on food. My omelette was good, but I had asked for spinach as on the menu, not rocket. Again, this should have been communicated to me. All they had to say was we don't have Spinach, can we offer you something else, and give me options.

27/10/2024: Very pleasant typical pub where the drinks are delicious and the atmosphere is family and festive! Great value for money if you are passing through Howth.

21/10/2024: Howth is Paradise. And once you're done hiking through what appear to be God's own trails along the coast to the summit and back, stop here for an absolute banger of an experience. We bumped into the most amazing locals here and went well over our stipulated stop schedule as the conversations were warm and informative. Loved every bit of it.
