Ely Wine Bar
Dublin
06/07/2025: I had the fish & chips special, which was delicious, along with a glass of cava. The two went great together. Also tried a mango / passion fruit tart, which was amazing! The place is cozy and the service is great. Had a lovely time!
04/07/2025: I saw the summer special for fish and chips and a glass of cava for €26 and decided to try it. The service from when we got there was great. We placed our order and the food was out in under 10 minutes. 2 cods were on the plate but I’d say the star of the dish was the tartar sauce never had anything like it and the fish was super crispy. 10/10 would recommend and the cava pairing worked really well!

Cafe @ Sol Rio
Dublin
14/10/2025: This hotel sets a high standard for the InterContinental brand across all areas, from the moment the bellhop opens the taxi door to the reception team, housekeeping, engineering, the meticulous breakfast service (including the quality of the food), the bar, and the gym. And oohh... (not to forget): the concierge service run by a highly qualified professional lady. (Such exceptional concierge service is rare these days, primarily when many rely on AI tools as their "personal concierge")
The attention to detail and hospitality at this establishment is unmatched (It could be the Northern Star of the InterContinental brand). While the building is old, and shows some signs of wear and fatigue, this does not detract from the high standards of hospitality.
Rarely, I would consider a hotel rated "6th star" for service, and a "7th star" for housekeeping. This one does.
Located approximately a 10-minute drive from downtown Dublin and 40 minutes from Dublin Airport, in a quiet neighborhood, this hotel is the ideal place to stay in Dublin.
12/10/2025: Great service, nice location. Check in process was fast and convenient.
Restaurant crew was also friendly and efficient.

The Villager
Dublin
12/10/2025: An incredible pub, with a great atmosphere and live music. An oasis away from the center of Dublin, in the beautiful village of Chapelizod and next to the northern entrance to Phoenix Park. If I could, I would go there every day of my life to have a Guinness there.
10/10/2025: Lovely spot to sit outside and have a beer with a good heating to keep you warm on colder evenings. The inside is well looked after and there is a wine bar upstairs. Had two pints of IPA and they tasted fresh.
Been here before and sat inside and ordered pizzas which were tasty

Ka Shing
Dublin
13/11/2025: Delicious Chinese food affordable prices. Lovely staff
12/11/2025: Ka Shing is a real gem in the center of Dublin for anyone who loves authentic Cantonese food. The moment you step inside, it feels like a trip back in time in the best possible way. The interior design has an old school charm with red lanterns, classic Chinese artwork, and an overall warmth that gives it a nostalgic feel. It reminds me of the kind of family style restaurants that used to define Chinatown dining before everything became modern and minimal.
The food here is excellent, especially the dim sum. Every dish comes out steaming hot, fresh, and full of flavor. The shrimp dumplings are delicate and perfectly cooked, and the siu mai has just the right balance of pork and shrimp. Service is quick and friendly, and even when the place is busy, the staff manage to stay attentive.
Do not miss saying hello to the fish in the aquarium at the front of the restaurant. It adds to the charm and makes the atmosphere even more relaxed. Whether you come for lunch or dinner, Ka Shing delivers a consistent, satisfying meal that feels both traditional and comforting. I will definitely be returning the next time I am in Dublin.

As One
Dublin
26/10/2025: The smoke was unbearable. They really need to fix the kitchen. Also,it's important to be flexible with the menu and accept changes to some plates especially when there are few option that are not classic.
25/10/2025: It is a very cosy place. The service was very good. The waitress was very kind and helpful. Her tattoos were great! 😀 The food was very tasty. It is worth to try a coffee with Baileys!
