The best restaurants in Dublin

07/05/2026: Absolutely delicious. Friendly service, quick and efficient for takeaway. Went for the Palestinian wrap with added halloumi as was warned the pocket version would be messy. It was amazing and plenty big enough for dinner.

08/05/2026: We had a lovely evening. The Parlor bar is amazing. Very quaint, fab decor and the view is amazing. I also liked the fact that they transferred our bar tab to the restaurant. The restaurant itself is lovely. Nicely set tables, generous space and friendly staff. Food is good, but lacking a little. The rigatoni was under cooked, the chicken just was far too salty, and the leaks lacking flavor. But overall a good meal. The bill included 10% gratuity.

29/04/2026: No pizza but still plenty of other options on the menu. The buratta was the standout dish hands down. Virginia was such a great host.

The staff were very welcoming and attentive throughout our visit, making us feel truly looked after. Wael was a fantastic server — friendly, professional, and attentive to every detail. I would definitely recommend and look forward to coming back!

09/04/2026: hidden gem? we finished our trip to Dublin with a dinner for 8 here and wow what an experience. they were able to accommodate us with minimal notice and sat our large group in a private area for larger groups. the food was simply wonderful across our entire group, across so many different dishes from starters of french onion soup, caesar salad and foi gras to mains of fish pie, beef pie, gourmet burger and braised beef to desserts and of course a nip of whiskey. the ambiance is simply great and the staff even better. don't miss this one.

07/05/2026: €25.90 for two sandwiches and I’m still trying to locate the chicken. I don’t mind paying premium prices when the food is actually premium. But this was genuinely one of the most pathetic attempts at a chicken sandwich I’ve ever seen. What arrived was essentially two slices of bread stuffed with shredded carrot, random leaves, and the faint spiritual presence of chicken. I’ve had side salads with more protein. The filling-to-bread ratio was criminal. Every bite was just dry bread and confusion while the chicken apparently remained in witness protection somewhere inside the sandwich. The whole thing somehow managed to look both overflowing and empty at the same time — a difficult achievement, to be fair. For nearly €26, I expected an actual sandwich, not a horticulture project with occasional poultry fragments. Massively overpriced, massively underfilled, and honestly just lazy. Need to do better.

07/05/2026: Avoca is a beautiful Dublin shop filled with stylish gifts, Irish products, delicious food, and cozy café spaces. Its modern design, warm lighting, and welcoming atmosphere make shopping there a relaxing and enjoyable experience.
