14/09/2026: I have found that when talking to people in the Dublin area, all have recommended Takara as the best ramen bar by a landslide, and I couldn’t agree more! For the past year or so I have visited this restaurant every time I was in Dublin and each time was met with incredible food and service! Pricing: Takara has excellent pricing across the board, especially for ramen and bento boxes. I have found other restaurants in Dublin to charge €18-20 for a single bowl of ramen, whereas Takara has consistently kept their prices at the €13 mark which is incredible value for the food you are getting. Food: Takara offers a wide variety of food at their establishment such as sushi, bento boxes, ramen and more. Personally, I am a huge fan of the variety of ramen, as myself and my friends all have different food restrictions and it can be hard to find a place that suits all of us. However Takara offers different ramen with beef, pork, chicken and even vegan ramen, making it inclusive for all! Service: I have found the service here to be excellent every time I’ve visited. The staff are very friendly and accommodating, and the food is served quickly no matter how busy the establishment. Additionally, I often find the portion sizes large and have always asked for a container to take my leftovers home, each time staff have kindly provided me with a takeaway box and bag for my convenience which allows me to get two meals out of their wonderful food and prevent waste. Overall I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who’s interest was even slightly peaked by their menu or the reviews. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

14/09/2026: Cannot recommend this restaurant enough!!! I stayed in Dublin for four and a half days and ate at this restaurant three times, I would of gone more if I didn't have all day tours. The kimchi is incredible!!!

05/09/2026: I brought my husband and Daughter today for the brunch and bubbles, food was very nice,I had the chicken with waffle and the others had the chargrilled burger with simosas,and aperol spritz,and we all had the sticky toffee pudding for desert,delicious.staff really nice and very efficient,Agnes (waitress)surprised us with an extra dessert with lighting candles for the Birthday celebration,a very nice gesture and finish to our day,thank you all xx

O’Brien’s is one of those rare places. I wandered in because my hotel was just around the corner. Convenience got me through the door. The atmosphere kept pulling me back. The room is comfortably compact, with small wooden tables that almost force you into conversation. Before long, the people at the next table aren’t strangers anymore. Every person seems to have a story, and every story somehow gets funnier with a pint in hand. Speaking of pints, the Guinness deserves its own standing ovation. This wasn’t just a Guinness. It was a masterpiece of patience. The slow pour, the creamy head sitting proudly on top, the glass looking almost too perfect to touch. The first sip erased every disappointing pint I’d ever had elsewhere. Rich, velvety, impossibly smooth. If Dublin had an official handshake, this would be it. The bar is the heartbeat of the place. Locals lean in with easy smiles, bartenders know exactly how to keep the room humming, and laughter never seems to stop. Not loud, manufactured laughter, but the kind that comes from old friends, good timing, and another round arriving just when it should. There wasn’t a trace of tourist theater here. Nobody was trying to put on a show. The welcome was genuine, effortless, and unmistakably Irish. Within minutes I felt less like someone passing through and more like someone who had been expected all along. After long days photographing some of Ireland’s finest golf courses, it became my nightly refuge. A short walk from the hotel, a flawless Guinness waiting at the bar, and a room full of people reminding me that the best part of travel is rarely the landmarks. It’s the conversations you never planned to have. The great discoveries aren’t always found at the end of the road. Sometimes they’re just around the corner, hiding behind a perfectly poured Guinness and a room full of people who make you feel like you’ve been coming there for years.

04/09/2026: If you're looking for a little cafe sanctuary in Dublin, Fumbally is your place! Stumbled across this gem on my way to the Guinness Storehouse, in need of a decent coffee and quick bite. I was amazed of how yummy my flat white tasted and also the focaccia with roast fennel and lemon ricotta was a show stopper. Loved it so much, had brunch there the next day! Highly recommend, pet-friendly.

16/09/2026: Needed to book for 10 people and couldn't do it via the website as too many people. Rang and got a bot who accepted my booking. Didn't receive confirmation text sio rang again and got a real person! My booking wasn't in the system and they couldn't give me a table!

31/08/2026: Amazing food, served promptly. Staff were exceptional, we were late arriving due to an accident on the motorway, not a problem, staff held our table and didn't rush us into ordering. Augusto was friendly, chatty and explained the specials to us and was very kind and helpful to the little lad in our company. Prices were good and we'll definitely be back.

27/09/2026: Kibbeh was delicious. The food was served very quickly, but halava wasn't for me. Maybe I was expecting a different type of halava and that's why.

26/09/2026: Unfortunately, the customer service really let this place down. The staff came across as rude, dismissive and generally unwelcoming, which made the whole experience unpleasant. Some of the food was nice, but the poor service overshadowed it. Definitely room for improvement when it comes to how customers are treated.

05/09/2026: Excellent on all fronts. The food could not have been better and it felt made with love. The service was also friendly and warm. I felt at home but with much better food and sound quality. Just wow!
