21/11/2024: Location.. wonderful! It is the added value of the place. Deconsecrated church, used as a restaurant. Not too varied menu, the food didn't convince me too much (the fish had very little flavour). The service is precise, the staff very kind. Prices a little high.

21/11/2024: A former church converted into a nice restaurant/bar in the center of town. Great relaxed but lively atmosphere. In the middle of the week, music and Irish step dancers played. Everything is perfectly integrated and unobtrusive, so you can have a pleasant conversation the whole time. The food is exquisite and huge portions, with acceptable (Irish) prices. Worth a visit.

02/11/2024: Went to the Sugar Cub last night to see the Style Councillors the gig was great but the doors were supposed to open at 7 and only opened at 7.20. Had it been raining we would have been drenched and no apology for the late opening so won't be going to this venue again.

29/10/2024: I was here for the Rocky Horror Show and it is a great spot but there wasn’t enough seating for the tickets that were sold so we were left standing for the entire show. Altogether it was a good night but definitely could have done with a seat

20/05/2024: I did not try the food but their craft beers were excellent, price was comparible to local pubs. There is the option to sit in or out. I was inside and found the enviroment very clean, relaxing and the staff were really friendly. I will be back.

20/04/2024: Excellent beer selection, both draught and bottle. Great atmosphere and friendly people. Strong recommend from me.

20/10/2024: I went here recently with my special needs class and it was fantastic. I let the staff know we were coming the next morning and as we were group of about 14. They had arranged the tables to facilitate us. The café itself is very small so I really appreciated that they had prepared for us. The menu is really good and the crepes with just sugar or chocolate are under 10 euros which is great for children who aren't spending too much. The staff were super friendly and patient with my students so they had really nice experience. The food is excellent. It's a very small café so it isn't really wheelchair accessible and it has a step to get into the café. The toilet is down a stairs. Honestly it would be great if it was a little more wheelchair friendly as my class had such a wonderful French breakfast. Thanks for the experience.

20/10/2024: I have visited this course a number of times, it's fine, nice course, pleasant staff and food isn't too bad either. Overall 4 star rating.

10/09/2024: Beautiful parkland course. Greens in wonderful condition, a testament to the groundstaff. Members were friendly and welcoming. Invited to play through. Great value through Teetimes.ie.

25/10/2024: Had a purely enjoyable experience with the staff in the shop, Gavin is well experienced and it shows both in his disposition and the care he provides for the reptiles, amphibians and invertebrates. As an experienced exotics animal keeper, I am so happy to have discovered Newlands Garden Centre and recommend them whether you’re a beginner or expert in the world of exotics. 08/11/2024: Service and food was great! We had Irish breakfast and potato cakes. Seating is somewhat limited so wouldn’t recommend for big parties, but for couples and small groups would definitely recommend!!!!

18/10/2024: Best coffee in Knocklyon area. Really handy that they open at 8am. Handy to get to with lot of parking available, especially in the morning.

16/11/2024: Way overhyped. Was expecting much better things and left feeling very disappointed. From the moment of entering the restaurant, not one single member of staff acknowledged us. We eventually went to seat ourselves when a nearby table got up and left. The general hygiene is poor. Sticky menus, tables and floors. Not a good sign. One of the waitresses seemed overwhelmed. She brought chips to the table then left again . The rest of the meal didn’t arrived for another 15 minutes. It was shockingly poor and lacked any sort of flavour. The portion sizes were very small for the price. Staff unfriendly and unwelcoming so it’s not a place I would return to or recommend to anyone who’s looking for nice food and good service.

14/11/2024: I'm going to be fair. The taste of the food was great, it was me and my husban first time ordering in this restaurant and we were delighted when we taste the food. Unfortunately I founded on my chicken shish a plastic or a kind of cartoon, what it was disgusting and make me think about their Hygiene standards. If the restaurant is aware of it and take care of those important things this will be a 10/10 food

10/11/2024: We did the cooking class with work. Brilliant fun. Great for corporate team building. The food is great and lots of fun making it.

09/11/2024: Some excellent times spent in this restaurant. Friendly and attentive welcome and service. Very good quality cuisine with good products. The antipasti cold cuts are excellent but the other dishes and pizzas are not to be outdone. A little noisy atmosphere but that's simply because the customers are. The restaurant can’t help it… The Montepulciano is excellent! Thanks to Ismael for his welcome and to the whole team for their professionalism. See you soon

10/11/2024: Horrible service. Tried to make us pay for a fourth water we didn't order. They themselves opened it then told us we couldn't return it because it had "been opened already" they were the ones who added an extra water to the order and opened it soo it was there mistake. Ruined my friends birthday. Never going back.

Dun Laoghaire itself is a must-visit destination, and this pizza spot is a perfect place to enjoy a meal in one of Ireland's most delightful areas.

22/10/2024: No pomegranate as described on menu (said they ran out of it, but it was just one hour after they opened), and did not tell me when I ordered, did not tell me when the pizza was ready, I took a slice and did not taste any pomegranate and asked, they they admitted and gave me a pot of balsamic vinegar saying it will “taste the same”. Had I known there’s no pomegranate I’d have ordered something else! The four cheese pizza is absolutely too greasy and off putting since there’s no pomegranate for balancing the taste. Very wet pizza, lots of olive oil. The other pizza with salami is too salty. Can’t finish pizza for the first time!
