22/03/2025: We’re regular customers since 3 years ago, is the first time that they told us that we had 15 minutes to finish our food. We arrive 15 minutes before the time closing and they always wait until you finished the food. The waitress with tattoos wasn’t friendly at all.

08/04/2025: We had our small wedding reception here last Wednesday, and it was fantastic! The staff was super friendly and made sure everything went smoothly, which wasn’t the easiest task since most of our group didn’t speak English. That wasn’t a problem for them at all though! The food was amazing. It was the perfect spot for our special day. Big thanks to everyone at Toscana for making it memorable! Will definitely be back.

15/04/2025: Very nice venue, lots to see and do on student day which was a heap of fun. Felt comfortable, safe and welcomed by all staff throughout the day despite putting my bank account into overdraft and losing everything. Drinks are a tad bit expensive but understandable with all things considered. Will be visiting again once I financially recover and learn how to bet properly!!

22/03/2025: Below is an email I sent to Annie mays last night after the appalling service we received in Annie Mays Bar and Lounge yesterday for our daughters confirmation, after receiving a phone call after the email offering an apology and a lousy €50 voucher off our next visit to Annie Mays which I declined, I have decided to let others know exactly how we were treated. As someone that has been in the same industry for 13 years I was shocked at how poorly we were treated and the lack of concern afterwards. I will gladly never step foot in this establishment again and advise others to take their special occasions elsewhere To whom it may concern, We’ve recently got home from dining in your restaurant today for my daughter’s Confirmation. To say this has been the worst experience is an understatement, Annie Mays staff managed to completely ruin the majority of the day with some of the worst service I have ever experienced. As I’m in the same industry (sous chef in a well known Dublin restaurant, that is famous for its service) I have decided to hold off on leaving you a negative review. As we entered the restaurant we were shown to a partially set table, I’ve had this booked for months so this was my first red flag. After sitting down I asked the server to store our cake in the kitchen (standard practice in any restaurant) to which I was told she could store it there but we wouldn’t be allowed cut it or eat it on the premises. She took the cake away and returned it approximately 30 minutes later, with the back of the cake completely battered, it was either knocked or handled incorrectly but wasn’t given to the server in this condition. We moved on and decided to have the cake at home later, not a big deal. Our starters came after a lengthy 30 minutes wait, our table wasn’t cleared for at least 30 minutes after we finished. After the table was cleared we were left to wait another 20-30 minutes before receiving MOST of our mains. After most people received their food we were informed that 5 main courses weren’t rang in and it would be 5 minutes more before they were ready, again this happens I don’t mind waiting five minutes but it was actually another 20 minutes before we received our food. The five missing mains were all burgers and they were cooked in a rush (presumably microwaved) and were like rubber bullets, completely inedible, disgusting and not worth the wait at all. After we ate what we could of the burger we then waited a good 30-40 minutes for desserts, at this stage everyone was ready to go home and no one even wanted them, the damage was done. On paying the bill I nearly laughed in the ladies face when she removed 3 portions of chips as a good will gesture. We chose to salvage the day and say nothing but my daughter actually apologised to me for picking Annie Mays as we left and it really, really upset me. This meal took approximately 3.5-4 hours and we were served drinks twice, anything after we had to go to the bar and order as the wait time for any sort of service was ridiculous. Like I said I’ve chosen to leave this off public reviews to give you a chance to fix the problem you created. We have had many family functions in Annie Mays before with the same group of people (18 of us) and every adult at the table said they would never return again. You’ve not only embarrassed yourselves but myself, my husband and my daughter. I really think your staff need some serious training because I had better service in Karen’s diner with my kids last week, if you don’t get the reference I implore you to Google what Karen’s diner is about. 17/04/2025: Oh wow! This place was recommended by a friend and have to say it surpassed any expectations I had. The service was amazing from the moment I walked in through the door until I left. Now let's talk about food, I had a Chicken Shish Kebab Meal which was fabulous! Even the smell of chips was divine and delicious, portion was generous and had to battle it a little to eat it all. I will 100% return next time I travel to Dublin.

08/04/2025: Honestly my favorite coffee stop in all of Dublin, the coffee is delicious, the people are cool, I love their clear identity around sustainability (bring your own cup Mondays and Fridays and their water bottle refill spot) and coffee. They make great coffee, both drinking it and making it accessible. You can spend hours looking through all the machines they have on display (and for sale) as well as their glassware, pots, and pourover gear. Their sandwiches and pastries are also fantastic. If you want a casual place to hang out for a minute or a quick flat white to set you right for your day, this is always top of my list

07/04/2025: This review is about sustainability! Thank you so much for providing a wonderful space, with delicious coffee, and a clear commitment to creating no plastic waste in the process. It means a lot to me as a customer to be able to enjoy my meal without the guilt of contributing to the plastic pollution crisis. I love how you put out clear signage, offer obvious solutions, and encourage folks like need to bring their own cup. By 2050, there will be more plastic in the ocean than fish, and it’s great to know that your business will not be one contributing to that statistic. Keep up the awesome work, I wish more businesses would show their connection to the local ecosystem, and the global one, and the ways that you do. Love to see it!

11/04/2025: Je m’y suis rendu lors d’un voyage scolaire avec mon établissement scolaire, et entrant dedans j’ai tout de suite été très bien accueilli avec le sourie de la vendeuse qui étais déjà tout de suite très agréable et souriante. J’ai eu ensuite un soucis de carte bleu je ne pouvais payer ma commande et la gentille jeune fille me l’a offert avec le sourie et de bon cœur. Cette gentillesse m’a énormément touché la bonté de cette jeune fille étais juste magnifique et cela m’a fait tellement de bien de voir à qu’elle point elle l’a fait par pur gentillesse et sans hésiter avec un sourire exceptionnelle Je n’ai pas le nom de cette jeune fille mais son geste a été extrêmement apprécier bravo à ce genre de commerçant et à la gentillesse de certain

24/03/2025: Pour moi ceci n'est pas une attraction, c'est une boulangerie pour les inconditionnels de beignets fourrés. La vitrine est colorée et appétissante mais le personnel est juste là pour vendre.

28/03/2025: A superb experience at this restaurant! The service was impeccable, and I would particularly like to thank Aïssa, who, despite her internship, demonstrated remarkable professionalism. Smiling, attentive, and always attentive, she helped make our meal even more enjoyable. A real gem for the team! I highly recommend this restaurant and its top-notch staff.

26/03/2025: The place is quite nice, and the space is decent, but it is not adapted for children, strollers, or people with disabilities. There are too many tables for such a small area. I visited during lunchtime on a Wednesday at 1:30 PM, and it was extremely noisy—the background music was very loud. I felt like I was in a bar rather than a restaurant. It might be a low-stress environment due to the size of the place and the music. Good was GREAT! Loved my dish was spicy and delicious. Take some time to be ready I would say 20 minutes up

21/03/2025: Esta es la segunda vez que he estado en Locks... Siempre iré aquí cuando esté en Dublín. La ubicación en lo que parece ser una zona residencial tranquila cerca de un arroyo o pequeño río es agradable. El restaurante está en un espacio genial y acogedor. El menú no es enorme, pero la comida es deliciosa.

30/03/2025: Authentic Irish Pub in Howth. Very cozy, happy atmosphere, great variety of drinks and liquors. Very friendly waiters. There is a splendid terrace where you can enjoy sunny days. We recommend it, we will return.
