22/09/2026: I went there to try the fish and chips. The cola in the picture is very different, I recommend it. It appeals to us, but I can't say it was amazing, but maybe it's because we come from a coastal country. Try this cola, it's quite good. Also, as you can see in the photo I took from the restroom, hygienic products are offered free of charge. Very good, it's usually very crowded, the place is very small and limited, they don't let you in without a reservation, but I went alone so they were helpful. I don't know if it was peak hours, I went around 4:30 PM, you should still make a reservation.

20/09/2026: This is the best pub in Dublin for a pint, and I've been to more than 15. Experience the difference of warm hospitality and feeling like part of the community. The staff provides impeccable service, and the intimate neighborhood atmosphere helps you understand why the pub is Dubliners' place to be, both alone and with others. It's the best off the tourist track. You can even bring your own snacks if you like.

05/10/2026: Food was absolutely disgusting, ordered a chicken burger and the chicken had very thick soggy skin all over it, barely cooked! Couldn't even finish the burger and I ain't fussy. Honestly one of the worst burgers I have ever had! Never again

06/09/2026: Ordered 2 decaffeinated coffees with semi skimmed milk got back to hotel 2 black coffees not decaffeinated!

04/09/2026: Great pub. Great Guinness. Full of locals which is a great thing. Lots of screens with different sports on. Atmosohere is good.

10/08/2026: A fantastic bar! Our hotel was right next door, so we had to have our first Guinness there. We've been back three times now. It's very cozy with lots of locals. It's great for all ages. We even had the pleasure of experiencing a karaoke night. It was a fantastic party! We're in our forties and we would definitely come back. Everyone is incredibly friendly.

28/08/2026: Never go there ever again I have been getting food and drinks here 15 years never had a problem and because a lounge girl messed up we were made a show of in the pub and at the the lost of are money because the new lounge girl messed up with are money so we had to pay again which is wrong she never gave us a receipt so they said we never paid which we did im drinking there longer then the management and they just made me out to be a scumbag and by the way I had my 40th here 4 weeks ago aswell and they treat me like that a joke and the bar staff and lounge staff had a go at me for no reason it was an absolute joke

23/08/2026: Called in on Saturday night at 8pm with 3 kids (16,13 &11) for a bite to eat. Quite busy inside and loud but we got a table immediately, were served quickly, food was delicious and not badly priced either. Would defo go back again.

03/10/2026: We were first time customers in this establishment .We had absolutely great time there, we had dinner with point off beer 🍺. Food was lovly, and staff was fantastic.

01/10/2026: Enjoyed Fish and Chips yesterday in the Balgriffin Inn, as it was their Wednesday daily special, amazing value at only €14 for a chunky piece of fresh fish, fried to perfection in a crispy batter and plenty of chips on the side, hunger-busting plate, highly recommended for a mid-week visit, and washed down with excellent pints of porter.

27/06/2026: Very convenient location on bustling street. Food is completely vegetarian with several vegan sauce options as well. I got the Build-Your-Own Bowl with falafel and plant based shawarma. Both were delicious. I also got their homemade mint lemonade which packs a flavorful punch. Very satisfied with food and service!

19/09/2026: The place has a great cafe food selection and good coffee. Staff is friendly and even if a bit cramped, it’s quite cosy. It’s great for a coffee break
