26/03/2025: We had an absolutely amazing night in Whelans at Today FMs The Big Busk with Dec Pierce and Block Rockin Beats! Dec never fails to disappoint!! Brilliant night and we followed on with the Silent Disco upstairs after the gig and had the best craic! Fantastic night and venue!

04/04/2025: Place to avoid or even flee, questionable hygiene, cold and hard food. The staff is unpleasant and strange. We waited 5 minutes to pay less, but we were not allowed part of the restaurant and they rushed us to finish quickly because “they were going to close”, even though we arrived 10 minutes before.

Foul, cold and very questionable food, the meat may have been from the day before and it was very tough. The gentleman who was in charge of “service” was the worst of all I think, only good at getting into trouble with his customers. He closed half of the buffet while we were eating without even informing us (knowing that he was already not big…). We were kicked out because they were closing but we were never informed of that obviously... in short, don't be attracted by their "low" price because that really hides something, there's a McDonald's right next door, don't hesitate, it will always be better

17/03/2025: Everything from starters to dessert was delicious! Lovely ambient and overall a wonderful experience.
Waitress seemed unsure about certain ingredients. It’s totally okay to say you don’t know and check with the kitchen! Otherwise, the service was great, and I’d definitely come back.

04/04/2025: I went with my 2 sisters (all over 60) for lunch.it was extremely pleasant. Food was very enjoyable and the staff were most pleasant and helpful. Compliments to the chef! Very pleasant atmosphere.
31/03/2025: I was meeting a friend there,I had only stepped inside the door and I was rushed at by staff member blocking my view asking me what table I wanted, I was trying to look over his shoulder to see if my friend,then he start trying to hand me a menu, it all smacked of forceful desperation, I had to leave,and tried to reenter, and the same happened a girl behind the counter was asking me who was I looking for,forcing me to describe the person asking me would they know them,it was all very bizarre behaviour, word of advice let your customers come in sit down and get their bearing, don't rush at them with this passif desperation, you lost me as a customer.

11/04/2025: This is a funny place. Staff is awful. Rude and unfriendly. I dont understand. This is nowhere near a 5 star hotel. I've done a lot of travel and stayed all over. This place was a real disappointment. I can't say I would suggest it. Just one person's opinion

08/04/2025: The food is great, staff friendly but efficient above everything. They need to process you through the place asap as they want more covers. First rule of Big fan "we need the table back in xx minutes". I won't be back.
Note added in response: we were told 5 times when the table was needed (other tables were empty) - we did not delay and left at least 30 mins before the allotted time. I think repeating the message was overkill and it made us uneasy.

05/04/2025: A group of us had a great experience here. We ordered mixed starters to share and everything on that plate was very delicious. I ordered saag paneer and it was good enough and Hilmaliyan curry was too mild for me. Two impressive dishes were chicken Korma and tandoori chicken. I really liked chicken korma as I can taste some spicies. Tandoori chicken wasn't dry and nicely flavoured with nice smoky taste. The staffs were very friendly.
02/04/2025: Food was really good and atmosphere was great Unfortunately they seemed to be quite understaffed on the night we went and this affected the experience in terms of service. The poppadoms were also stale. Would definitely come back though!
