The best restaurants in Dublin

25/05/2026: We stayed at the Morrison on two separate weekends and ate at the Grill once, as well as getting coffee/tea from the bar every morning we were there. The food was good (particularly the soup), but the highlight for us was the service. The staff was very friendly, welcoming, and attentive. It was also very convenient given that we were staying in the hotel.

25/05/2026: Lovely restaurant with delicious food and a friendly waitress. However, there was a slight delay both when our order was taken and when we received the bill. Payment was processed quickly, but I wasn’t impressed that a service charge had been added without this being mentioned beforehand, which felt a little crafty, especially given that the food was already quite pricey. Overall, the food was excellent, but the service and lack of transparency regarding the service charge detracted somewhat from the experience.

04/05/2026: Love it here! Used to be a wine cellar! 314sqft of fun. Bartenders (Nick and Fletch!) are awesome. 👏🏼 Gave lots of recommendations on other pubs and places to eat. Super small but everyone is friendly. Gets loud the later it gets and you have to almost yell to your mates but that’s part of the fun. I’ve come here nearly every evening of my stay and it’s been the saving grace of my Dublin trip. Thanks guys!!

19/12/2025: I am not sure which part of food was Indian, Food never tasted Indian, I thought I ordered Briyani never felt like that some rice with big chucks of meat, tea tasted like some sugar syrup, dragon chicken was another bad choice not crunchy! Lamb had meat smell on it, wasn’t able to eat more than one chuck of meat.

25/04/2026: ***if you’re American spend your Euros elsewhere. Was in here with my friends to just have some drinks and hangout. Bartenders were very rude to us and we overheard them talking about the Americans in the corner. We saw that they were charging us more than double what they were charging other customers. I was ordering a whiskey ginger ale but stumbled over my words a bit and said a ginger ale and whiskey - was promptly told that it’s a called a whiskey ginger ale in Ireland and then charged €15 for it. Spend your money elsewhere. They will charge you more than triple if you are American.

14/11/2025: Lovely food. Great servings and fast delivery. The staff are so nice and love a good chat. Everyone waving to the managers as they pass by. It feels like a community. I recommend the mocha! There are vegan options also. Such a cute aesthetic too.

03/10/2025: Meant to take a photo of the beautiful salad, sandwich, coffee and sweet treat I bought, but it was too good and I ate it too quick. Amazing spot!

02/10/2025: the salads are tasty, but they are eye-wateringly expensive - €9 for a tiny bowl. Go to tang just around the corner for better value.

19/05/2026: Truly authentic Italian food and experience. We were a big group and tried different appetizers and mains and all of them were really delicious (more than they appear on the photos). Excellent service and nice vibe Special thanks to Massimo. Highly recommend the place!

12/05/2026: Lovely pub with great staff and our weekly getaway after parkrun. Staff are amazing and food and drink is gorgeous. There are different places to sit in inside and outside and it is one of few pubs that also works very well in larger groups

17/02/2026: We had an absolutely fantastic stay at The Morrison Hotel, and can honestly say it is one of the best hotels we have stayed at in Dublin. The location is excellent, right in the city with easy access to everything, and having parking directly at the hotel is a huge bonus. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming and helpful throughout our entire stay, which really made a difference. Breakfast was outstanding, with a great selection and very high quality. The room service menu was far beyond what you would normally expect. We ordered beef Wellington, monkfish pasta and several desserts – everything was delicious, reasonably priced, and delivered to the room within 20 minutes. The rooms themselves are modern, newly renovated, spotless and very comfortable. You can clearly tell that a lot of thought has gone into both design and cleanliness. Overall, this is an excellent hotel in every aspect. We would highly recommend The Morrison to anyone visiting Dublin and would not hesitate to stay here again.

14/02/2026: We spent one night in this hotel located in the centre of Dublin. Everything was perfect : very clean, the bed is huge and comfortable. I would definitely come back.

10/05/2026: Absolutely fantastic food and atmosphere. The customer service was outstanding and Randall couldn’t do enough for me and my family. You can really tell he cares about the place and the people who visit it. The food was fresh, full of flavour, and beautifully presented. The atmosphere was warm, relaxed, and perfect for winding down and enjoying a proper meal. One of those rare places where you feel welcomed the moment you walk in. Highly recommended — we will definitely be coming back again.

05/05/2026: I only had drinks but it seemed like the glassware hadn't been washed very well, it smelled terrible. The atmosphere was otherwise good though.

05/05/2026: We stopped here for dinner while staying at the Hilton airport hotel and did not have high expectations going in. We just wanted something beyond the typical bland budget hotel restaurant…. And we were blown away! Ordered one of their meal deals and the amount of food we got for the price was just incredible. Great flavors and great service. Would highly recommend when in the area.

19/05/2026: Last year we visited Pitt Bros for the first time during our holiday, and it was fantastic. We were really excited to come back during this trip — and once again, it did not disappoint. The food was delicious, the price-quality ratio is more than fair, and the atmosphere was great. The team was friendly, welcoming, and clearly working hard to give everyone a good experience. To top off the evening, we even received a complimentary soft serve ice cream, which brought back some great childhood memories. A really nice touch to end a lovely evening. Definitely a place we’d happily return to again when visiting Dublin 🍖✨
