The best restaurants in Dublin

07/05/2025: Certain staff belittling and bullying other staff, rude towards customers and a snottish face isnt what I expected with my pizza and beer. Typical Eastern European culture.

22/04/2025: I always enjoy pizza 🍕 when it's cooked just right, slightly crisp crust, fresh tomato 🍅, melted cheese, served hot. Independent Pizza truly satisfies! Give them a try! 😉

07/06/2025: I usually only leave reviews when an experience is exceptionally good or deeply disappointing—unfortunately, this was the latter. We had a reservation for 6 p.m., and by 6:04, the waiter informed us we’d need to leave by 8. This time limit wasn’t mentioned when I booked. Two of our friends were running slightly late, and we were rushed from the start—pressured to order quickly and constantly nudged along. About half an hour into the meal, a woman who seemed to be one of the managers approached us. While she started out friendly, her tone quickly shifted. She reprimanded me for two people not showing up, saying they had to turn away others because of it. She also criticised our table because one person ordered only a starter and a drink, and another just drinks—something that felt unnecessarily awkward and frankly quite rude. We also asked several times for more sparkling water and still water, but it never arrived. To top things off, we had to pay using two separate card machines—one for the main bill, and another for a 10% service charge, which wasn’t clearly explained and didn’t seem optional. All in all, the experience felt rushed, judgmental, and uncomfortable. Definitely not somewhere I’ll be returning.

27/05/2025: A cool place serving delicious pizza from the oven, friendly service - a great place, which is not easy to get to 😅 but it was worth it 👍😊 you can have a beer, cider or order a drink here, and apart from pizza there are other options...

26/05/2025: The place is amazing! We had a good night, the pizza was FABULOUS and the waitress Liege (Brazilian) was so kind. I ate an Italian pizza with pancetta and I drank 2 drinks I paid 45 euros for all of it. But my friend had pizza and they drank a pint of beer and they paid 25 euros.

21/04/2025: Delicious dumplings to start & possibly the best Nacho appetiser outside of the US or Mexico. Following by wonderful mains & bottle of Rioja Tempranillo. Outstanding value with great service & pleasant environment. Will be back again for sure.

15/04/2025: Great burger last Tuesday. Now...chips are normally amazing and hot and fresh but last Tuesday ye chips I got had clearly been lying around and only warm when received. Not good at all. It's the first and only time out of many that this has happened so I hope they stick to serving freshly fried chips.

02/04/2025: Hungry, passing Casanova in Rathfarnham! Asked sweet young lady serving for bag of chips!Hand on heart, the best Chips I ever bought! Hot! Crispy! Large portion! Discovered...wallet at home. Young Lady "pay when you're passing" ! only left out 5th STAR ...??? really 4.6 !! Tony G

06/06/2025: Decent meal. Very pleasant atmosphere. So why 1/5? Let me explain. We ordered the tasting menu (starter, main course with rice or naan and coffee/tea included). When we finished the meal we asked for tea/coffee but according to the waiter it costs extra for that because we were served poppadum with the meal. Well....we didn't ask for poppadum and normally it is served with the meal....and if it is paid for, they should explain it to us at the beginning. Just for that I will never come back here again. Thank you for your stinginess and lack of communication because you certainly don't know how to build customer loyalty!

25/05/2025: Went here for a céilí. Was a great day out, the children had a brilliant time dancing and everyone there went out of their way to include them in the dances. We will definitely be back.

18/03/2025: A friend and I popped in here for several pints having completed the Aware Harbour to Harbour walk on St Patrick's Day. A lively atmosphere and charming bar staff. Just be warned - they don't serve food here any longer. But the Guinness is great!
