22/03/2026: Stayed at the Talbot Hotel in Stillorgan and had a great experience. Niamh at reception was especially helpful and went out of her way to assist with everything. Really nice hotel overall. Highly recommend.

22/03/2026: Stayed here for a few nights whilst decorating going on at home! Excellent hotel in every respect. Room was contemporary with beautiful bathroom and superb TV. Food in the Brass bar and breakfast in the restaurant were of a very high standard. Staff were attentive and very professional, helpful and friendly. Highly recommended in an excellent location.

15/03/2026: Irish coffee, rather cold and bland despite the whiskey; they didn't add sugar to the cream, and the coffee was that lukewarm, watery brew you get everywhere. €9. The place is very nice, but the service was listless. There weren't many customers. They didn't even bring me a saucer or spoon and were surprised that I wanted to pay in cash.

16/03/2026: About an hour from Dublin Airport, stunning scenic views of the Irish Sea are very close by. The food is fantastic, amazing lamb burger with feta & the best fries I've ever had. Staff is friendly &. accommodating. My favorite thing was the shower. I've been without conditioner for my entire stay in ireland and most hotels have the hand soap/shampoo/ body wash all-in-one. Fitzpatrick Castle knows how to treat their guests. The White Company- Noir scent amenities were luxurious and smell so good. My belly is full and my hair is happy. I wish we had more than one night here. A+++

04/03/2026: I had a wonderful experience at The Garden Rooms. The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was just as impressive. The staff were very welcoming and attentive throughout our visit, making us feel truly looked after. Wael was a fantastic server — friendly, professional, and attentive to every detail. I would definitely recommend and look forward to coming back!

06/01/2026: A café promoted even by HOTbox. After a sauna, all we wanted was to have a coffee. We arrived and found a sign saying “Ring the bell.” A girl came to the door and asked us, “Do you want to have a coffee?” We said yes. Her response? She flipped the sign to “Closed” and said they were closed. So what is the point of promoting this café and listing opening hours from 8:45 on weekdays if, in reality, you’re not open at all? Very disappointing and confusing experience.

30/10/2025: A wonderful café in Dublin! We had lunch here — chicken with vegetables and potatoes, and a burger with fries. Everything was beautifully presented and tasted amazing: the chicken was juicy, the vegetables fresh, and the sauce perfectly balanced the dish. The burger was rich in flavor, with melted cheese, fresh veggies, and a nicely toasted bun. Cozy atmosphere, quick and friendly service. Great spot for lunch — I’ll definitely come back!

19/01/2026: We were in Dublin for a few weeks in early January. This was the pub my friends and I came to nearly every night. Nice atmosphere, but what truly set this place apart was the service. Bartenders Garrett and Ryan took care of us every night and they couldn’t have been more welcoming and personable.

23/03/2026: Going through the duck egg blue door into a lovely ambient atmosphere sat down and was served straight away by the lovely Rebbeca. In just over 5 minutes I was served my food which I ordered one of the roast of the day (Corned beef with all the veg and parsley sauce).The food was very tasty and nice and hot. I then ordered dessert (Raspberry cheese cake) which was to die for, was very tempted to lick the plate.🤣 Overall it was a very pleasant experience. Staff were very friendly and attentive. I would defintely recommend this establishment for food and also for evening drinks.

23/03/2026: Brought my cousin in for a coke as he is now in a nursing home , and wanted to visit his old haunts on a day out , he never took much pride in his appearance as he suffers from Parkinson’s and a couple of other things ,, and could have easy been refused service due to his very bad appearance,when we arrived the woman that served us was so welcoming and remembered him and he was cleaned up a lot since his last visit and she still remembered him and said they were wondering was he ok as he hadn’t been in for over a year , I would like to thank them for never refusing to serve him and making him so welcome on his return, beautiful food beautiful staff , and the premises is extremely clean ,, many thanks for seeing the human being behind it all , outstanding customer service

07/03/2026: Was given a voucher due to wrong pizza being delivered. Haven't been able to use the voucher over the phone as anytime you call on the weekend it says the number isn't recognised! Have the voucher about 3 months. So frustrating
