The best restaurants in Dublin

08/12/2025: We attended Wrights today as a family before going to the Zoo lights and we weren’t blown away by the food. Most of us got the Turkey and Ham which was delicious but for €26 you’d expect a bigger slice of ham and more veggies. We got 3 Brussel sprouts & 4 Carrots on the plate and half of us got a roast potato and the other half didn’t. We also ordered 2 side portions of Onion Rings and we are still waiting for them to arrive. The staff were lovely but they were all over the shop more than once they tried to give us another tables food & drinks. Overall the atmosphere was lovely and Welcoming but I don’t think we will be back as we can get more for our money somewhere else

12/09/2025: We stumbled across BigFan by accident and what a good accident it was. The restaurant was dimly lit creating a lovely atmosphere and the music was at the perfect volume level. Excellent music selection as well. The menu is a great read with lots of options that cater for all diets. We ordered the prawn toast, the best I’ve ever had, the duck wings, incredible, bao bun with beef and Chinese five spice, truly delicious, the lucky Crackers are a treat with the whipped tofu and yuzu dressing, simple yet delicious. The dumpling soup was rich and earthy and full of flavour. The service was excellent, fast and efficient, the food delivery was quick and brought to you when each item is ready. Make BigFan a must if you visit Dublin. We highly recommend it. I would have taken photos but I was more interested in eating the food than taking pics of it.

13/11/2025: First visit and was absolutely delighted with the genuinely friendly service. Very relaxed atmosphere too. Food was great except the fish was quite bland, only complaint. Cocktails 🤪!! just to enjoyable, 😁 so again, really nice host and staff, best we've came across for quite a while, so would definitely recommend🍸🍹🍷🍺🥧

02/11/2025: Please update your menu online to reflect actual menu presented. All I was going to order having looked prior to going was not listed on the night I was there. Was very disappointed. What I had in the end was fine however.

24/12/2025: the hot chocolate and the Pina colada were delicious ! the music on Christmas Eve was perfect !

21/12/2025: Garbage establishment. Was referred by the hotel staff at NYX to come here for a COCKTAIL… Waited 20 minutes at a not so busy bar, to be told by a bartender, “we don’t do cocktails,” then watched another bartender make 2 cocktails; who then rudely told us, “it depends on who you ask.” Hopefully the quality here weeds it out by the next time we’re in Dublin. Trash.

24/11/2025: The afternoon tea at The Westbury was amazing The food was delicious the service espectacular. If you really love tea. This is the best experience. Totally recommend ♥️♥️♥️♥️ Thank you for all Especially a Lais.

24/11/2025: Been ordering from the Golden Elephant for years, and it has never let me down, even when ordering for delivery your getting restaurant quality food, just had the pleasure of getting my food delivered by Annie, who even rang beforehand to let me know she was on the way, fast delivery and excellent food would definitely recommend 👍

19/12/2025: Absolutely beautiful pint of Guinness, served by a gentleman owner/barman called Declan. Of you want to experience a REAL Dublin pub, This is the pub for you. Full of locals, but welcoming to strangers.

01/08/2025: Off the beaten tourist path, little cafe. Workers are beyond friendly. Place is filled with locals (good sign) and wondering tourists. Solid scone and coffee for me. My son’s breakfast sandwich was solid as well. Compared to the crazy prices around the area, this was a 5 star stop for a no frills friendly breakfast. If you’re expecting something really fancy, this ain’t the place for you.

08/12/2025: I love coming to this place. The staff is always kind and supportive to me. The food is fresh and delicious. I recommend!

06/12/2025: Avoid. Service was terrible. Too slow and lazy. Coffee came out the same time as the food and food took too long . Clean your windows! They look awful and give a bad first impression. I got the La Celtic. It’s literally goats cheese in a wrap, and the goats cheese was far too strong to make it the main ingredient of the dish.

10/12/2025: Angelina’s Dublin was an absolute delight from the moment I stepped in. The food, service, and ambiance were all top-notch. I began my meal with the Crab Flatbread, which was incredibly flavorful and unique. It was a must-try dish. For my main course, I opted for the Cod, which was cooked to perfection. However, the side of garlic fries was a bit of a letdown. They were overly dry and lacked flavor. Despite this minor hiccup, the overall atmosphere of the restaurant was cozy and elegant, and the service was impeccable.
