24/11/2025: First time we have stayed at this hotel and as first impressions go , outstanding from check in , to the rooms to the bar staff everything was outstanding, rooms of a lovely size, bed super comfortable, tea coffee making , a safe in the room, the barman sami was super friendly and chatty, which is want you what, reception friendly and welcoming, we will have no hesitation in staying at this hotel again.

04/12/2025: Another lovely experience after a few years break since my last visit. The kimchi rice is absolutely delicious! Highly recommend the prawn dumplings too but everything on the menu looks good.

18/10/2025: We are two Korean families living in Germany, and we visited Dublin for our holiday. During our five-day stay, we went to Ninja Sushi Asian Restaurant four times — twice for dine-in and twice for takeout. That probably tells you how much we enjoyed this place! Although it’s a Japanese restaurant, like many others in Europe, it’s run by Chinese staff. Because of that, the ramen has more of a Chinese-style flavor rather than a traditional Japanese one — which was the only minor downside for me. Apart from that, everything else was excellent. The rolls were large, fresh, and delicious. The basic Japanese dishes such as takoyaki and tempura shrimp were of high quality, and the donkatsu rice bowl, yaki udon, and yakisoba were also outstanding. The food was served very quickly, which made the experience even better. The lady owner and the staff were very kind and flexible. Once, due to our family situation, only our children came to pick up the food for takeout, and the owner kindly allowed us to return later to pay — which was incredibly considerate. Overall, both the food and the service were fantastic. We truly enjoyed every visit and would highly recommend this restaurant. If we come back to Dublin again, we will definitely visit here again.

24/12/2025: Had a Christmas party for 10 people last Saturday. Very disappointed with the food and the fact we were seated outside in the conservatory with a pillar between our 2 tables. Inside looked lovely but felt it was overpriced too at €36 per person for finger food. Will not be returning

23/12/2025: The bar-restaurant is set in a former church from the early 1700s, the only surviving Baroque-style building in Dublin, blending historic charm with a modern vibe. There is a perfect occasional traditional Irish step dance. Food was decent overall. The garlic butter prawns starter and fried chicken burger were good, and the lamb was tender though slightly gamey. Worth a visit for the setting and experience.

28/10/2025: The place is really nice and the waitresses are very friendly. The service is great; the only downside is that there are hardly any vegan options, but they made a vegan meal for my friend and me.

26/10/2025: Delicious hidden gem, the banana bread French toast was so lovely, staff were lovely, thanks for being dog friendly, we were so grateful to have somewhere as nice as this to get cover from the rain and have delightful food.

15/12/2025: I've been ordering from Rua for years, and have had a long-standing 5-star review, but sadly I feel I have to downgrade. In recent time the delivered pizzas have become very very inconsistent in their quality, and tonight's one was the worst I've had for years. The base was doughy and not fully cooked, the ingredients weren't the usual quality, and had too much piled in the middle. Poor overall. Really hope to see that consistent quality return, but I won't be ordering a delivery again for a while.
