08/06/2026: My first day in Dublin, after crossing over the river, I saw this awesome pub and stopped in. Small but very nice place. Had a couple pints and the owner was pouring them. My first taste of Smithwicks was excellent. Very nice guy. Didn't have any food and not sure that they had any.
05/06/2026: Reuben was like a WIZARD! 🧙🏼♂️🪄🍻🥂🍾🎉 great banter, definitely glad we stumbled upon this place, awesome live music too!

01/06/2026: Had a great experience at the Coach House at the weekend. Terrific atmosphere on Sat for the champions league final, then had a superb meal on Sunday. My wife and Aunt had roast beef and I had the beef curry, meat was cooked to perfection. Very attentive bar and waitress staff, and cracking pint of Krombacher. I'd highly recommend this place to anyone passing through or staying in Balinteer!

The Orchard Restaurant At Beaverstown Golf Club

18/07/2026: Beautiful parkland course. Greens in wonderful condition, a testament to the groundstaff. Members were friendly and welcoming. Invited to play through. Great value for such a good course.

20/07/2026: We had a private event upstairs in the Taphouse on Saturday and it was amazing. The staff were brilliant, our guests loved the food, and the Terrace and Glass Room were the perfect space for our party. Can't thank the guys enough for a great evening!
19/07/2026: We had our friend’s wedding celebration at the pub, and everything was perfect! The food was great, everything was very well organised, and all the staff were so helpful and friendly.

08/07/2026: Lovely place to fill your stomach to the absolutely limit. A huge variety of food and cuisines to choose from, good for families friends or any other occasion. Price is quite impressive considering that you have so much different foods to choose from. Very recommended to try👍

30/07/2026: The food tasted bad; there was a strong chicken smell. Also, the price was exorbitant for two people, and the service was below average. We ordered a takeaway dish, and they brought us an empty box and a bag—disappointing. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

28/04/2026: Lovely staff. Average food. The quality of the steak matches the one from the supermarket. The only thing that makes it a bit more special is that you get it done on the stone. Some roasted veggies could be added as it only comes with mash/chips/baked potato (literally one).

20/09/2025: Wonderful bakery right next door to our Airbnb, went there often. Excellent meat pies and pastries.Fresh bread and they'll make you fresh sandwiches. Enjoyed everything that we tried here over our two weeks. Favorites were steak pie and cottage pie. Fair prices.

13/07/2026: What a fantastic bar. We have been coming here after the GAA games in Croke Park and have always received fantastic service and hospitality by the friendly and attentive staff. The finger food handed out free of charge is an incredible gesture and we will continue to return. 5 stars
