The best restaurants in Dublin

16/12/2025: Bouncers were rude and told us it was reservation only. Despite people we knew did not have a reservation being allowed to enter.

16/12/2025: The bar smellls musty and like wet? Possibly mouldy. The drinks were small and expensive. I’d avoid.

29/07/2025: My friend and I went there on a Saturday evening without reservations and the whole place was booked, but we managed to have our pints at the bar and the staff were super friendly about it. The interior of the place is so cool!

26/07/2025: Wasn’t expecting to hit the dance floor on a Thursday night but the DJ had us up and moving! Amazing drinks, vibes and music x

14/10/2025: We had an amazing experience, had my birthday there, since the booking until the actual birthday party we had a Great service. Sandra was very friendly and helpful all the time as all the other staff. The place was really nice and the food was great, amazing service, I’m really glad we picked Dockers, would definitely recommend!

09/12/2025: Portion size very modest, plate not even half full. A great institution relying on past glories and reputation. You can't beat the location but if you were eating really there is value elsewhere.

07/12/2025: Received possibly the worst food of all time here - absolutely terrible. Hard to believe a chef put it on a plate to be honest. Said it to the waiter and he said “yeah fair enough”. Says enough about the place really - better options around

24/11/2025: We visited the Cellar Bar to watch the Ireland Rugby Match and get Drinks. This is a lovely bar, welcoming, beautiful and comfortable. We enjoyed our drinks, the match and the experience. There was table service and food. We did not order food as we had another reservation. However, we will definitely return for food, as it looked and smelled amazing. The cellar was a experience I would highly recommend.

26/06/2025: I went to this shop today and it was closed – it had just shut 10 minutes earlier and they were cleaning up. Sweetie, her name, saw me waiting outside and noticed I looked a bit disappointed. It’s my anniversary today – mine and my wife’s – and we really wanted to buy a cake. Sweetie kindly opened the door and let me in to buy one. As a customer, I felt truly valued – the service was 10 out of 10. I really appreciate what she did, and I hope the managers see this review and thank her personally

27/12/2025: A typical Irish pub, a warm and welcoming atmosphere, with wood and soft lighting, and beers to die for. Food is not served, in typical Irish style. Highly recommended!

19/11/2025: Order: chicken chop suey with fried noodles. Received: chicken chop suey with fried rice. It is a busy and noisy area, so mishearing happens. Not ideal, but not tragic. 5/10 Food: one of the better chop suey dishes I have had from Chinese takeaways. Not excellent, slightly too salty, but they followed my instruction no celery, and the tray wasn't overloaded with onion. Solid effort. 7/10 Portion: standard size, nothing exaggerated, but fully fair. The best part: only 10.80, while others charge 13-15+ for the same dish. 10/10 Service: simple packaging - plastic tray for the main, aluminium tray for the side, basic brown paper bag. No napkins, no chopsticks, no cutlery. Functional but minimalistic. 6/10 Price: for Dublin standards, extremely affordable. Genuinely surprising in a positive way. 10/10 Overall: 8/10. Good value, good taste, and very fair pricing. Despite the mix-up, I will definitely return.

06/11/2025: 10/10 every time, open tray 4 in 1 is deffo the best in Dublin. Get some amount of chicken. Deffo on the pricier side for a 4 in 1 but actually not the worst for the amount you get. LOVE, struggle to get from other Chinese since having this.

20/12/2025: This is our favorite place. The food is always delicious and beautifully prepared. The staff are very friendly, attentive, and make you feel welcome every time. We always enjoy coming here and will definitely return again.

17/12/2025: Dinner and desert in Dublin City centre for 2 less than €70.00. food was good service was great good lively friendly atmosphere. We will definitely be back, maybe try breakfast next time too. This building is very ornate it used to be Clydesdale bank loads of interesting features and a giant safe in the basement.

14/12/2025: Tremendous food. Beef was super tasty and vegetables nicely, not overcooked with a bite. Nice fluffy potatoes all brought together with proper meat gravy. You can tell the chefs are decent chefs from this and then the dessert arrives. Apple pie with apples perfectly cooked with bite and not overly sweet. Then the brownie. Many places do a lazy brownie which is super simple and charge you a packet. These guys do a brownie that is rich and gooey full of comforting chocolate. But they don't stop there. They add hazelnuts for texture. But they dont stop there. They roast the hazelnut to enhance the flavour. Then they add a tasty chocolate sauce with yum ice-cream. These guys know flavour. Congratulations team

15/11/2025: Very rude staff; we were refused service without any explanation. The administrator, Asain, treated Ukrainians with clear disrespect. It was extremely unpleasant — I absolutely do not recommend this place. I believe such behavior may be driven by racist attitudes, since we were not even given any reason for denying us service. Very disappointing.
