23/07/2026: I’ve been to Il Fornaio on Dawson Street a good few times now, and it’s always been brilliant. The food is consistently delicious, and the drinks are great too.
The staff are what really make the place though—everyone is so friendly, welcoming, and attentive, making you feel at home from the moment you walk in. Fantastic service every time. Definitely one of my favourite spots in Dublin. Highly recommend!
19/07/2026: Came here with a few friends for some spritzes and had such a great time.
We were looked after by Anda, and she was honestly so lovely.
She made us amazing spritzes, was really friendly, attentive, and had such a positive attitude the whole time.
Great drinks, great atmosphere, and even better service.

07/07/2026: We stopped by for dinner. Disappointly there was only one gluten free options, a curry. It was fine, if a bit overpriced. A pub of this calibre should cater for food intolerances. Not one for coeliac diners.
05/07/2026: Have visited here quite a few times. Match day was on so we had a carvery meal which was really nice and the staff are great.

Where it also has a pool table. Bar is very well run! Carla and Ann Marie are brilliant. I bring my Journey Irelands pub tour there and often my tourist get to pour their own pints and get a Certificate

19/05/2026: A buschetta and a machiatto will set you back about €9.80 (to be honest nit expensive even thou was a small portion).
But here i will add that the buschetta was really salty, but really salty.
The place I will say is 100% italian as were lots of italians for lunch and i can hear italian spoken in the restaurant by customers and by some staff.

03/05/2026: My first time at the bar, and it just stands out for me: friendly atmosphere, great selection of beers, and the people at the bar were friendly; made friends and conversations with the locals.
Also, there was brilliant live music on the night I was there, and it has that real Irish feel to it. 🇮🇪

01/07/2026: It's our favorite Pub in Dublin now! 💚
We ended up in here on the first day of our Ireland Tour and got to watch the FIFA Game 2026 Austria vs Argentina (sadly we lost 😢) and returned at our last evening (10 days later) to watch England vs. Kongo ⚽ and of course drink our favorite beers 🐑🍀
The barkeeper is so nice and even remembered us! Cheers! 🍻

12/07/2026: Booked table for my mother's 83rd birthday for Friday night. When we arrived, 8 of us, we were told the table was booked for Saturday night, which if DEFINITELY wasn't. The 2 Italian owners were extremely rude and dismissive, absolutely horrible.
Would never set foot in the place again, as I told all my family and friends.
08/07/2026: Absolutely love Ragazzi. I’ve been a regular now for 7 years and Alessandro and his team are amazing. Great food, very friendly service and fab atmosphere inside and out. Highly recommend if you are in Dalkey.
