The best restaurants in Dublin

07/04/2025: The food here was incredibly good! Bought three dishes for €30, and all the dishes were delicious. I also think the people who work here are incredibly nice! another plus was that they played premier league AWAY! Recommend mushroom taco and crab tacito(?).

06/04/2025: We had an amazing experience at Tap House! My sister-in-law came all the way from Portugal to celebrate her birthday, and it couldn’t have been more special. Karen took such great care of us – she was incredibly kind and helpful, managing to find us a spot and making sure everything was perfect. The burger was absolutely delicious, and the chicken wings were hands down the best we’ve ever had! To top it all off, they have an extensive selection of beers served at the perfect temperature. Highly recommend this place – we’ll definitely be back!

28/03/2025: No Gluten Free bread. When I asked what I could eat in the cafe the server went to the kitchen and asked. When they returned they said nothing. They usually have GF brownies but they were sold out. 11am. So this is not a GF friendly café.

20/02/2025: Empecemos diciendo que este pub era un hallazgo raro en las concurridas calles de Dublín. Era el único pub tranquilo que encontré ese día, y honestamente, no tengo idea de por qué. El ambiente era cálido y acogedor, con un interior encantador que lo convirtió en un gran lugar para relajarse después de un largo y agotador día en la ciudad. El personal era amable y atento sin ser intrusivo. No estaba seguro de qué IPA pedir, así que le pedí a mi camarero que me sorprendiera con cualquier IPA que tuvieran, y él hizo una excelente elección: Five Lamps IPA, que resultó ser una recomendación realmente sólida. Para la comida, me decanté por el pescado con papas fritas clásico. Si bien la porción era generosa, el plato estaba tan lleno que cortar el pescado sin derribar algo era un poco complicado. El sabor era decente, pero por alguna razón, la masa tenía una nota harinosa abrumadora, lo que le quitaba la comida que por lo demás era agradable. Al final, fue una experiencia agradable. El servicio era genial, el ambiente era relajante, y la bebida era puntual. Pagué 30€, incluyendo una propina de 3€, que me pareció razonable para lo que obtuve. ¿Regresaría? Probablemente, pero probaría algo diferente en el menú la próxima vez.

23/03/2025: I have been going here for coffee for quite a while a couple of years in fact every Sunday and occasionaly during the week.The service and product in general around average nothing to complain too much about until today that is 23rd March.It is a long time since as a customer I was addressed the way I was today.Suffice to say I will not be back.

26/03/2025: It's a big stadium. It takes about 8 minutes to get there after getting off the subway station and following the crowd. The acoustics are great! I always like the KENT band! It's a bit crowded to get into the subway after the concert, but it's generally smooth. You can also choose to stay in a hotel next to it.

19/04/2025: 5 stars – Unreal Send-Off at 37 Dawson Street! Had my leaving party here and it honestly couldn’t have been better. The place has serious character (that mosaic horse? Iconic), and the atmosphere was electric from start to finish. We had a gorgeous reserved area that gave us the best of both worlds — space to catch up with everyone but still right in the middle of the action. The bar staff were so friendly, the cocktails were deadly, and the shots were flowing all night. Huge thanks to the 37 Dawson team for looking after us like VIPs. Made memories I’ll never forget. I’ll definitely be back!

03/04/2025: Cathal and Charlie were the bar staff for our funeral, they took great care of all the guests especially the elderly, they went above and beyond any expectation in their care, their manners, and their service. They brought a little sunshine into an otherwise cloudy day.

31/03/2025: We recently hosted our son's first birthday party at tis restaurant, and once again, it was an absolutely amazing experience! This is the second time we’ve celebrated a special occasion here, the first being our baby gender reveal, and both times have been nothing short of perfect. The venue itself is stunning, and our guests were constantly complimenting the beautiful space. The food was exceptional, beautifully presented, and served hot, everyone loved it! Chef Alun Griffiths really knows how to create delicious dishes. A big thank you to Garry Murphy, the manager, for making sure everything ran smoothly. The staff was also incredibly attentive and professional, making everyone feel at ease throughout the celebration. I highly recommend The Leap for any event or just a wonderful dining experience.

05/04/2025: went in here after the helix. best bag of chips I've had in years. and the batter sausage great too. I'm not in chippers very often so am glad found a good one here. friendly and the price is reasonable considering you get a good portion.

08/04/2025: The food was really excellent – ​​our pizzas were great! The restaurant is small but very charming, and the staff were consistently friendly. In the end, there was unfortunately a somewhat unpleasant situation when it came to payment, which we should perhaps pay a little more attention to in the future: We paid separately, and my friend wanted to tip over €6 (her meal cost just under €30) - which we found to be very generous. Unfortunately, this accidentally turned into €16 because the waiter probably understood “46” instead of “36”. Our English is actually very good, so this was a little surprising. Who gives €46 when the meal costs €30? I had already given a tip beforehand. He then paid us back the €10 in cash because the €46 had already been deducted from the card. Nevertheless: The food was great, and we would definitely come back because of the great quality - next time we'll just pay a little more attention to the processing at the end.

06/04/2025: It was really embarrassing. Eight friends and I wanted to have dinner, but it was fully booked inside, so we decided to eat outside. It was cold, so we suggested he put two tables near the heater, just if it was possible. He replied, “Would you like to work here?” I was really shocked by how aggressively he responded. One of my friends told him I was just trying to help, and right away he started acting crazy, saying we wouldn’t be having dinner there anymore. We were all shocked. He basically kicked us out of the restaurant. I would definitely not recommend this place, just because of how badly they treat customers. It’s embarrassing that people like this are working in customer service.

17/03/2025: It's a lovely place. I go there at least once a week to get a pizza or a burger meal. The staff is very friendly, and the food is amazing. I just don't go there more often because I ain't got money for it 🥲 Highly recommended! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

14/04/2025: Wonderful dinner experience at Dada restaurant. Friendly and efficient staff, stunningly beautiful interior, and delicious food. The generous portions were flavorful and extremely tasty. I am looking forward to returning to try even more dishes! The Moroccan dips and bread was a perfect starter - hummus, white bean, green pea, and cucumber yogurt paired with warm bread.

13/04/2025: They charge for the water that was already on the table more than 7.5 euros (1.5 per person), this is an additional charge to the already 16 euros of mandatory service for large groups. It was just water. I don't agree, seems shady.
