06/05/2024: Got the açai bowl and caprese sandwich (veg option). Both really good and it’s also a great place to get some work/study done and parking outside.

Pearl Bakes
Dublin
29/04/2024: Margaret made a wonderful joint celebration cake for us - confirmation and 70th birthday. She did a fantastic job!
The cake was moist, flavourful and delicious. The decoration eye-catching and memorable. The packaging was done with such care and attention. And Margaret was a pleasure to deal with.
26/04/2024: I ordered a cake for my baby shower and gave some ideas and colour designs I would like. It turned out even better than I was picturing in my head and Margaret nailed it.
The taste was also incredible, definitely the nicest biscuit cake I've ever had! It was a real hit at the baby shower and everyone enjoyed it.
I'll absolutely be in touch for the next occasion!

Blossom Artisan Bakery
Dublin
14/05/2024: The almond croissant is heavenly. And that coffee is just absolutely smashing
26/04/2024: A hidden gem 💎 I love to explore cafes and bakeries around Dublin and Blossom Bakery is a place I will return to on a monthly basis at least. I tasted a few different pastries and they are all so yummy, the cherry on the cake was the strawberry lemonade New York roll.

Cocktails In a Click
Dublin
03/09/2024: We booked cocktails in a click for day two of our wedding! They absolutely made the day, everyone raved about the cocktails, they were delicious. The service was immaculate and Shaw was an absolute pleasure to deal with from start to finish. Couldn’t recommend this service more and will definitely be using cocktails in a click again for our next event.
15/07/2024: I booked cocktails in a click for my cousins hen party, shaw was brilliant to deal with from start to finish. On the night the lads were extremely professional and everyone complemented them on the cocktails and their service. I would 100% recommend them to anyone looking for mixologists for an event or party!

Boiler House Café
Dublin
17/04/2024: Delicious food, fabulous service from staff and such an interesting and worthwhile concept. Great little hidden gem in Ballymun and so we will be back.
15/04/2024: Great food and service in an industrial style but comfy setting with mix and match furniture! I had a gorgeously light onion quiche with a tasty fresh salad and fruitycutney followed by an absolutely scrumptious rhubarb and custard sponge cake! Also loved thd cappuccino and the hot spiced apple juice!
Have a look around the Rediscovery Centre the Cafe is located in! It's well worth a visit, and you can do some ecologically responsible shopping while picking up some lovely unusual presents!

YOI Ramen
Dublin
02/04/2024: Small restaurant so if you want to be guaranteed a seat you should probably book.
I’ve had the ramen here multiple times and it’s always consistently good. The katsu curry from here is also very nice. I’ve eaten here multiple times, delivery and eat in and I’ve never had a bad meal. Hence why I come back
The price is average for ramen in Dublin. I would actually say this is one of the more affordable nice restaurant in this area
14/03/2024: + the dragon rolls were quite tasty and had a lot of fish inside
+ the futomaki rolls are really big! Usually, you can easily eat a sushi roll in single bite, but this is definitely not the case with these rolls. We didn’t expect this size so we ordered a bit to much food
- the ramen and the spider rolls were ok, but we expected more from a 4.8 restaurant. The ramen was significantly better in Japan
- we personally did not enjoy the spicy salmon rolls. The sauce used to marinate the salmon had a strange taste
Note; the place is rather small. We got lucky and they had a table for 2 without reservation, but I would suggest to book in advance

09/07/2024: We stopped here for a bite of lunch - had a salad and a toastie and they hit the spot! This is a lovely little cafe to come to before or after a trip to the National Gallery!
30/05/2024: Very well attended, super friendly.
We ordered 2 cappuccinos and sat down to drink it with our own sandwiches, something highly valued for low-cost travelers like us.

16/08/2024: It’s a cozy, and bright place. We loved the brunch menu, service and overall vibe. There’s a long table with window looking out into the street.
I recommend the mushrooms on toast which was super delicious. Overall, great brunch place in Dublin city center

Girl and the Goose Restaurant
Dublin
12/10/2024: To find this place one am has to walk through Ballsbridge and look for a green door almost hidden between 2 pubs.
Walking up the stairs leads to a nice restaurant with themed decorations.
The interior is nice. The atmosphere possibly too quiet considering that the room was almost empty.
Food is good and the chef clearly makes an effort: recipes are not obvious and the presentation is lovely.
Taste is not as consistently good as we would have liked. We had one dish lacking salt, one (the special) that couldn't get much taste even after adding salt twice and one that was even too tasty.
I would have preferred to be warned that the special that I ordered had basically the same taste as one of the starters (the croquettes).
Coffee felt overpriced: 3.10 for a cup or Nespresso?
11/10/2024: Perfect food, warm friendly service and an experience we will remember long after this vacation ends. Thank you Girl and the Goose!!

18/11/2024: The coziest pub in the area for a great pint of Guinness and a traditional vibe!
