The best restaurants in Dublin

03/01/2026: Unfortunately we wont be back again as the food was so disappointing. We ordered a buttermilk chicken burger, a couple of pizzas and chicken tendors. The chicken in the burger was exactly like a frozen birds eye chicken fillet...not what you expect when eating out. Both pizzas were tasteless and we didnt even finish either of them which says a lot. Staff were friendly and nice!

21/12/2025: So I came here for my wedding anniversary, thought I should try some new restaurants, my expectations were quite low given I come from Mumbai and I like spicy food and how food is catered towards Irish population it tends to be sweet. But to my surprise it exceeded my expectations, taste is super good. I don’t drop reviews like this unless it really taste good. I also got to taste a dish which not on menu and it also taste amazing. Also staff is very polite and understanding. I ordered a dish where it tasted sweet and I asked them to switch it to other dish which as spicy up to Indian standards provided I had asked before order to be spicy. To sum up things, I would highly recommend to come here and try once’s, while ordering and if you want ask the staff to suggest you spicy dish Note I had ordered Non-veg dish. P.S. I had came second time and this time I had ordered veg thali and it was also amazing with jeera rice and I would recommend jeera rice.

22/12/2025: Starter of Ravioli quite small & didnt pack the punch expected. Pasta with Nduja & prawn tasty. Dessert if Tiramisu tasty. Enjoyable evening. Staff attentive

09/12/2025: Perhaps the best Italian restaurant I have been to outside of Italy! Was absolutely blown away by the quality of the food and wine, and amazing, attentive service. The prosciutto and burrata was perfect, and the risotto was one of the best, creamiest risottos I have ever had. Will 100% return on my next trip to Dublin!

21/09/2025: Service was very slow took 30 mins to get our first cocktails. Then the waiter came around with only 30 mins left on our booking so we weren't confident we would get a second round in. Felt 1h45 is too short for 2 cocktails with the slow service.

31/01/2026: Old school Dublin sports bar at its finest - especially for the rugby and soccer. Great place all told.. and the bouncers are especially sound. Get there earlier for a good seat and food before the game.

07/12/2025: Sadly not the best stay, double bed made of two singles but the joint was awful so no point. The pool is nothing like the pictures with only 3 beds so you can’t relax there. If you get a room near the front you’ll be awake all night with traffic and people about. Better choices out there

22/12/2025: The food here ranges from good to outstanding, depending on the night, with the black dal probably the highlight. Unfortunately they've had some serious misses lately, especially the lamb jalfrezi that was unpalatably sweet, as if someone had added a ton of sugar or jaggery. The aloo tikki also tasted as if it had been cooked and left sitting for a while. There's no reason to adulterate food for the Irish palate. Stick with what's been successful at Pickle and previously here.

15/12/2025: The food is good.. loved chicken 65. Butter chicken biryani was good, but I wouldn’t want my biryani to be sweet, but because it was butter chicken, I can understand. The food was on the sweeter side. Prices are quite high.

16/11/2025: Outstanding service and the food keeps us coming back. Couldn’t fault it. Extremely accommodating for our large orders and all guests very complementary of the dishes ordered. Gem of a place , we are lucky to have them nearby . Highly recommend.

15/01/2026: Been to Bunsen with friends recently, and can’t strees enough how satisfied and delighted we were. The staff is th star of the show, extremely welcoming and attentive. Food came to our table extremely fast, and when it did…top notch burgers, simple and easy, and that’s exactly what makes it distinctive, they know what they’re doing. Highly recommend this place. Once again shout out the staff. If you’re going there, make sure to tip them really well, they absolutely deserve!

14/01/2026: I arrived at Bunsen Ranelagh around 6:30pm on a Tuesday. At that time, there was only one table occupied. I asked the staff member (who appeared to be the manager or supervisor, as she was the only one working at the time) if I could wait in the waiting area for my friends to arrive, as we would be dining there. After I had to explain myself more than once, she allowed me to wait. I stayed in the waiting area for about 20 minutes. During that time, only three more tables were seated, so the restaurant was clearly not busy. Suddenly, the same staff member came up to me and said I could not stay there if I wasn’t going to eat. Once again, I explained that I was going to eat and was simply waiting for my friends (AT THE WAITING AREA!!!) to arrive so we could be seated and order together. She was extremely rude, insisted that I check what time my friends would arrive, and I had to justify that I couldn’t reach them at that moment. She then walked away visibly annoyed, complaining to herself. My friends arrived about three minutes later. When one of them greeted her, she didn’t even respond. The service was absolutely terrible. I have been a regular customer at Bunsen for over six years, and I have never experienced such poor and disrespectful service in my life. Very disappointing, especially from a place I’ve always enjoyed and recommended.

08/12/2025: I was there before and I had an enjoyable experience, went back with some friends and it was terrible. Very rude server at the bar.

07/12/2025: Very rude staff. The bartender (a girl) was screaming to us in a very rude way “hoy many of you are” like it matters? And even though.. the way she speaks to us, terrible. After this a man come to our table to scream to us because a friend turn off a candle.. you can come to us in a more polite way to tell us that is not okay to do that we will understand, but is there any need to scream and be extremely rude? Never coming back

19/10/2025: My mother and I stayed at The Green Hotel for two nights and it was really nice. The room was quiet, the beds and pillows were comfortable, and the staff was beyond amazing! We had a situation and needed help. The staff and manager jumped into action quickly to help, and continued to help until the situation was resolved. They were amazing, and so very kind! In addition to the friendly staff, the hotel location was really good. Close to the green line, shops, restaurants, and was within walking distance to everything. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay at The Green Hotel again next time we’re in Dublin.
