Quando WoodFire-Pizzeria
Dublin
22/07/2026: Best pizza and pastas in Dublin! I don't know how they manage to stay so happy in front of a big hot fire, and make such great food and keep the price point given the quality of the ingredients. Truly exceptional

Bounceback cafe
Dublin
29/05/2026: Stopped in for breakfast and we got the American Breakfast Burrito and an Egg, Spinach, and Cheese Bagel. It was so good forgot to take a photo haha. If I lived in Dublin this would be my go-to for breakfast burritos.
15/05/2026: Came here our first day of vacation and got the brekkie burrito and a chai lattte. Both were amazing and the two women working were very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!

Perfect Day Cafe - Breakfast, Brunch, Lunch & So Much More...
Dublin
30/06/2026: The staff were friendly and efficient and the food was very tasty
29/06/2026: Have eaten here twice in the last few weeks, and I seldom in Dublin due to the lack of value, however
I love supporting local spots, and this restaurant makes it so easy to do. We went during their peak weekend rush, and despite how busy it was, the team didn't miss a beat. Every staff member we encountered was genuinely warm and attentive. Great food, great people—we’ll definitely be back!
Also a bonus, in it a dog friendly location also.

The food is always excellent and hot, just the way I like it. The service is excellent and the staff are always helpful. So I'll be back again next year

The Hut
Dublin
28/06/2026: Lovely pint of Guinness staff very chatty
Lady toilet might need an upgrade
Worth a vist
07/06/2026: A very friendly welcome. There was hardly anyone there, so we were able to enjoy our first Guinness in peace and quiet. A pint for €6.50 was perfect! The decor alone is worth the trip!

Anvil Saggart
Saggart
14/07/2026: I have been coming to this place since 2020, back when it was One View, and I never had any issues. The service was always excellent, which makes this experience even more disappointing.
We visited at around 5:00 pm on a Friday, and the restaurant was not busy—there were only three or four occupied tables. Despite that, we waited over 15 minutes before anyone came to take our drinks order.
One person at our table ordered their meal about 20 minutes before everyone else, but all the food arrived together, making the earlier order pointless.
The biggest issue, however, was the number of flies throughout the restaurant. I understand that warm weather can bring flies, but a restaurant serving food should have proper measures in place to control them. It was very unpleasant to eat with flies constantly around the table.
If there were that many flies in the dining area, it also raises concerns about the hygiene standards behind the scenes.
I hope this feedback is taken on board because this place used to provide a much better experience.
13/07/2026: A fantastic family gathering on a glorious Saturday summer evening at The Anvil Restaurant in Saggart, celebrating birthdays, a wedding anniversary, and the annual family catch-up in Michael's home village.
The food was delicious, the laughs were plentiful, and—miraculously—everyone managed to talk at the same time while still hearing every story! There was plenty of friendly banter, a few well-polished family legends grew even taller, and nobody admitted to getting older... just more "well seasoned."
Days like these remind us to count our blessings and treasure the greatest riches of all: family, friendship, good health, and the people who know all your faults but still save you a seat at the table.
Here's to making more memories, sharing more laughter, and proving once again that every family gathering deserves a standing ovation... and perhaps a lie-down afterwards!

Bracken Court Hotel
Dublin
14/04/2026: This review is for the dining experience:
We booked an "afternoon tea" for two. The set up was absolutely delightful and area that the "afternoon tea" was served in was perfect for dining with two children as space was spacious yet pretty private, so kids had room to move freely and didn't bother anyone.
I would definitely book that area for dining with kids next time again and I must say that hotel staff are definitely very kids friendly.
Everything on the platter was tasty, tea and coffee hot and strong. We had a walk through restaurant and bar and all seemed very clean.
We will definitely be back, with kids as they had a lovely time.
25/03/2026: A very nice hotel, well located near the fishing port (about a five-minute walk) and Ardgillan Castle (three kilometers). The staff were welcoming and genuinely friendly. The room was well laid out and comfortable, as were the bedding and bathroom. Breakfast was excellent and varied, with fried eggs, toast, different types of bread, and a multitude of condiments and fresh produce—there was something for everyone, and plenty of it too. Dinner was different each night, featuring typical dishes, good wine, and a wide selection of beers. The room was cleaned daily and everything was spotless. We took a road trip and visited Dublin, including St. Patrick's Cathedral, Blarney Castle, Kylemore Abbey, Kilkenny, Belfast (including the Titanic Museum), Glendalough Causeway, and other sites I love and that are quintessentially Irish. We had already been to Ireland but in the South West and we were not disappointed either, two stays with countless and very pleasant memories.

Thai Spice
Dublin
02/07/2026: Vegan & plant-based options are available, but not labeled on the menu (must ask the server). The green and massaman curries were delicious, but overpriced.
30/06/2026: This is a good but unexceptional Thai restaurant. Not bad for Dublin, though. I had the Padh Thai which was generally very well seasoned, prices were fair.
