The best restaurants in Dublin

06/10/2026: I came in with a group of about 20 people and we reserved in advance. It’s a super cute space and the service was generally good. I would’ve liked if they had offered water upfront without us asking. I asked them to keep an eye on the tab because I had a limit and they did, but they didn’t include the food in that tab and also didn’t tell me the gratuity was automatically included. So it didn’t work out exactly the way I wanted, but whatever. I would come back for drinks.

17/08/2026: Was once our go to restaurant for brunch. We have had brunch here numerous times. Unfortunately they changed timing of brunch so some of their best dishes such as Croque monsieur and their eggs benedict, Best in dublin for me, are no longer available after 12. Such a shame. While the menu after 12 is fine it is just isnt the same on a saturday afternoon. Efficient service, depending on your waiters mood, still a nice ambience in a beautiful building. Spanish olives were nice. If a bit over seasoned. Crab roll (both had) was pretty but forgettable, not particularly satisfying. Though this was probably influenced by disappointment of not seeing the dishes we knew so well on the menu. Will still go back here but need a new venue for Brunch!

30/08/2026: I highly recommend Sushi Planet! 🍣 We order from here regularly and are always happy with the food. The sushi is fresh, delicious, and the portions are generous. Everything is always carefully prepared and packaged. I especially like the consistent quality — everything is great every time. The staff are very friendly and polite, and orders are prepared quickly. You can really see that they care about their customers. Definitely one of our favourite places for sushi in Dublin. We’ll definitely be ordering again! 👍🍱

29/08/2026: Terrible food!!!!! The prawns crackers were stale. The beef fried rice was nothing like Chinese food. The satay had plain chewy bland chicken What a shame to call that Chinese food!! Total disappointment!!!;

04/10/2026: For a small, 10 table restaurant, the service was very poor. We sat there for 30 mins after our mains chatting, and nobody gave us a dessert menu or asked did we want another drink. First time I've ever experienced that! We got the bill and left. Felt very transactional, won't be back.

04/10/2026: A typical pub where you can enjoy Dublin food and watch a sporting event or live music. We were a group of eight, and we went for dinner and to see the live music. The food was good, the service was good, the music was good, and the Guinness was the best part. In our case, we ordered four pints of Guinness, four pints of Rock Shore, two Irish stews, two truffle burgers, one roast beef, one chicken burger, one sausage with mashed potatoes, three apple crumbles, four ice creams, one brownie, one Irish coffee, and one Baileys coffee, for a total of €316. The bill they brought us included a 12.5% ​​service charge. We were surprised that this charge was handwritten, as if it were only applied depending on the customer, whether they were foreigners or from the city... it wasn't very clear to us.

03/10/2026: The food was amazing! We were a big group celebrating a birthday, and everyone really enjoyed it. The waitress and manager were very friendly and nice. Highly recommended!

06/10/2026: Cody old pub style dining and bar. Great foods and service in this rustic place. Bangers and Mash, soups, smash burgers, fish & chips are all great!

16/07/2026: Highly recommend! The coffee, salad, and staff were all amazing. We popped in for a takeaway oat flat white and the chicken avocado salad, then enjoyed them on the green across the way. The coffee was divine, the salad was delicious, and the girl serving us was so kind and accommodating, especially as we had our newborn with us. It was definitely worth the visit, and we’ll be back to try more of the menu!

11/08/2026: One of the best oat flat whites around but unfortunately no vegan treats available to go with. There are a range of non vegan pastries and bites but not a single plant based treat on the menu except for an Açai bowl. I would love to see more plant based options appearing on the menu

17/09/2026: Been here a few times now and it’s never let me down. Food is always unreal, beer’s are class, and I love the hustle and bustle of the place — proper busy city energy. One of my favourites.

01/06/2026: Had a great experience at the Coach House at the weekend. Terrific atmosphere on Sat for the champions league final, then had a superb meal on Sunday. My wife and Aunt had roast beef and I had the beef curry, meat was cooked to perfection. Very attentive bar and waitress staff, and cracking pint of Krombacher. I'd highly recommend this place to anyone passing through or staying in Balinteer!
