14/04/2025: Beautiful place with a brilliant sunset view. I turned up without a booking and was lucky enough to get a high table for two, looking at the sunset and the rooftops in Dublin. The pizza was delicious and served quickly, my friend also enjoyed her pasta. Great atmosphere, would really recommend you visit!

14/04/2025: We were in on Saturday night (12th April) for dinner to celebrate a friend’s 40th and what a great choice we made! The food was delicious, the setting is lovely but most importantly the staff were amazing! Unfortunately I did not get the names of those serving us but they really added to our experience. Having a laugh with us and making us feel very welcome. We still had some drinks to finish by the time they needed the table back for the next booking but they went out their way to find us a place to sit and make sure we were happy with it. We were visiting for the weekend from Scotland but will defo be back next time we’re in Dublin.

29/03/2025: Fuimos a una cena de cumpleaños, y tuvimos uno de los mejores tazones de burrito que he tenido en Dublín hasta ahora! Mis amigos pidieron nachos, el tazón de burrito vegetariano, el tazón de burrito de chile y el burrito de res estofada. Todos disfrutaban de sus comidas, pero aquellos que tenían el aderezo de aguacate tenían dolor de estómago después de tristemente. Mi tazón de burrito estaba delicioso, y aprecié el diseño de menú simple que te guía a través de la construcción de su burrito. El servicio era amable, y hay buen espacio para sentarse arriba. Es bastante caro a casi 14 € para el cuenco, así que definitivamente solo un regalo de cumpleaños. En general la comida era buena, y me gustó.

31/03/2025: We had our honeymoon in Dublin and we started the whole thing here. Since we were not familiar with the area, we chose this place totally at random, but in the end, we regret nothing. The service was great, the food was great, if we ever come back to the city we'll definitely pay it another visit.

02/03/2025: Qué lugar tan pintoresco. Acabo de volver de Dublín, la ubicación es perfecta para un buen paseo a cualquier lugar! El castillo de Dublín, la casa Guiness Stout, etc todo a solo un buen tramo de 10-15 minutos de sus piernas. ¡O agarra un caballo y un carro! Cobblestones (5 minutos) era un bar de música irlandesa muy divertido. Temple bar era divertido caminar a través. Paul en Mcgettigans es sólo un sueño. Qué tío tan encantador. La comida en Aceitunas e Higos era excelente. Simplemente tanto pasando en la zona. . . . calle Stephen's Green es la más 'área de élite' a 15 minutos a pie. Gran ubicación, gran viaje, volveremos! 11/03/2025: Lounge area is very nice since the renovation, drink prices are reasonable too. Food is very average, nothing special. Servers aren't very attentive from multiple experiences here, usually have had to come up to the bar to order another drink. Bartenders are friendly.

11/03/2025: I don't think I'll ever go again. I couldn't feel the goodness of the ingredients and was generally disappointed. The pork belly meat was dry and rough, the soup was too salty, and I couldn't feel the tanginess of the seafood.

10/03/2025: Amazing flavours, the seared scallops and cheesecake were our favourites. It's a lively cozy little place, we were sitting at the bar so got to see the action in the kitchen.

18/03/2025: The food was excellent, very high quality from start to end. The bread was noticeably good, always a nice sign. Great wines by the glass. Excellent service - very friendly and attentive. Will definitely return - very high end food in a nice atmosphere. We went for dinner very early, at 17.45, but the place was really filling up as we were leaving.

14/03/2025: Although "Laurel" has been open for nearly two years, this was our first visit. Located just above "Kelly & Cooper" in Blackrock Village, we went based on a trusted friend's recommendation, and once again, he steered us right. The special three-course menu for €45 was an absolute delight. From the tempting selection of four starters, we both opted for the seared scallops with pea arancini, pea butter, and pancetta—simply delicious. For mains, I had the pan-fried halibut, while my wife enjoyed the slow-roasted beef. Both dishes were cooked to perfection and beautifully presented. To finish, we chose petit fours with coffee from the five available dessert options—a perfect ending to a fantastic meal. This special menu is available on Wednesday and Thursday nights, making it an excellent midweek treat. While the restaurant was relatively quiet (seating around 30, with 15 diners that evening), the atmosphere remained warm and inviting. The sole staff member attending to us was incredibly attentive, offering excellent service with a smile throughout the evening. The two chefs working in the open kitchen showcased impressive skill, creativity, and attention to detail in every dish. We highly recommend "Laurel" and will definitely be returning soon
