Midori Japanese &Thai
Dublin
26/10/2024: Just ordered some food from them. The Jap Chae was without any exaggeration uneatable. The beef was so chewy I had to spit it out and throw the whole thing in the bin. Absolutely disgusting. Never again.
18/10/2024: Food and restaurant are nice but forget about delivery. We had bad experiences waiting for over an hour for our food which arrived in a very messy way… no help from the restaurant as phone was not connecting at all and when eventually someone picked up the call cut off.

Tommy O'Gara's
Dublin
16/08/2024: Great old fashioned pub with friendly atmosphere.
16/08/2024: Lived in Stineybatter for 7 years. Frequently visit the pubs in the area and hands down, I can honestly say, the coldest cleanest pint I’ve had of lager in the area. They definitely look after the lines in this place.

09/10/2024: Churros are really good. One makes for almost a dinner. The only problem is that it takes 10-15 minutes to get served.

Sophie's
Dublin
08/11/2024: Sophie’s Restaurant in Cork offers a stunning experience with breathtaking views and an elegant ambiance. The linguine pasta was exquisite, the food fantastic, and the service prompt. A must-visit for a memorable meal!
08/11/2024: I had a lovely evening at Sophie’s Rooftop – the food was delicious as always, and the ambiance was fantastic. Unfortunately, I was a bit disappointed with the service. Despite my request to make the dessert a special birthday moment, the staff missed this detail. I understand they were busy, as the place was packed, but watching other tables receive birthday candles made it feel even more disheartening. I’m hoping this was just a one-off, and that next time will be as perfect as I know Sophie’s can be!

Beshoff Bros
Dublin
03/11/2024: The best fish n chips in Ireland 😋😋😋
02/11/2024: Good fish and chips, but only in the context of Irish chippers. Irish chippers tend to have heavier, thicker, batter than those I grew up with in England, and I'm not a huge fan of that. The cod was nice, batter crispy and not too heavy, but not as good as Feeley's in Carlingford. The chips were actually slightly better, a little bit firmer, but portion size was smaller. The comparison is worthwhile, because they are both among the best chippers I've come across in Ireland, and both are a bit more expensive than the average. Don't take the atmosphere rating too seriously though, it's an open fronted Chipper with a counter and two serving staff; atmosphere isn't really something you should expect.

King Sitric
Dublin
03/11/2024: King Sitric Seafood Bar is fantastic! The lobster is delicious, and the staff is incredibly friendly, making you feel right at home. We had a great laugh about a hotel guest who came down in his robe just for a beer in the afternoon—definitely added to the fun atmosphere! A perfect spot for seafood lovers!
03/11/2024: I went to this restaurant with two of my friends on a Sunday evening. The girl that greeted us at the door was very friendly and the interior was nice. However the positives end there. The menu contained no battered fish and chips option, only breaded, as they pre-bread all their fish in advance, so we asked if the battered fish from the burger could be served with chips. We were told this would be okay. We ordered 2 battered fish and chips and one fish burger. However not 5 mins after ordering we changed the order to 2 fish burgers and one battered fish and chips. When the meals arrived (not at the same time) the “battered” fish and chips was not battered, simply steamed fish served with chips. When we informed our waiter of the mistake he was immediately defensive and blamed us for changing our order , when this was not the part of the order that was changed. He was incredibly hostile and turned us off the rest of the evening. After waiting for 10 minutes we were informed the restaurant was out of fish, once 2 of our party had already finished the fish burgers (which were average at best, 70% bun and 25% fish and 5% lettuce). This left our third friend hungry with no meal. When we went to pay we were grossly overcharged (86 instead of 55) which was only rectified when we went to a different server. The server responsible for our discontent took no responsibility. We were very unhappy with our experience here. Would not recommend.
