The best restaurants in Dublin

20/05/2026: This place is local legend. By far I haven't had such good Spicebag. Their chips are not your regular chips! Even Currys are next level. Recommended - Black Bean Chicken/Beef Extra Spicy and Spicebag with extra onions. The lady and the guy at counter are so helpful and they always accommodate my extras in their recipes.

19/10/2025: I had the opportunity to try the Charlemont Bar during my stay at the Hilton Hotel for an official YouTube and Google event. The breakfast was quite varied and of good quality, and I especially appreciated the cappuccino, which was really well-made! The desserts were also quite good. Finally, I'd like to point out that I found the breakfast quality to be above average for 4-star hotels!

23/08/2025: Anytime I get to visit Dalkey, I head to Pepperlaine for the best cappuccino and tasty treat to fuel me up for the day browsing around this lively village. I’m looking forward to popping in over the Lobster festival for my caffeine fix and the chance to pick up a great locally sourced gift for an upcoming birthday while I’m there.

07/12/2025: Popped in on our way to the markets, such a cute little spot, the food and coffee is UNREAL! Highly recommend this spot!

18/10/2025: Had dinner upstairs at ASADOR with friends and we managed to fit 5 people comfortably at a table normally for 4. The staff were attentive and friendly from start to finish. We shared some of the breads and spreads, then each tried a main and a side—every dish was delicious, with perfectly sized portions. For dessert, we all went for the chocolate fondant with ice cream, which was a highlight. Great dining experience overall!

15/09/2025: Myself and some friends popped in there Saturday after we did the Vintage Afternoon Tea Tour on the bus, the girls had gone in here earlier before the tour for a half hour and liked it so we went back there, the place was busy so no seating inside and that was roughly at around 2.30pm so we had to sit outside in the yard which I didnt like at all because it was freezing. I did see a yard heater at the back but not where we were sitting, first off they dont take cash at the bar outside and the guy behind the bar was very smart about it so I had to go inside each time to get a drink and the bar staff there were not impressed I had cash one guy said to the girl serving " she wants a Moretti and she is paying cash " and made a face then snapped the cash out of my hand so bad manners all round. My next issue is the toilets they are unisex so when we went in there was a stink from them of urine and to use the bathrooms I had to close the toilet seat down whilst having my hand wrapped in toilet paper after a man used it and also had to wipe away urine that he had left there on the toilet !! To me that is disgusting and why women and men have to use the same bathrooms is beyond me, as the day went on the toilets just got worse and I didnt see anyone coming in to clean them. The girls serving outside were nice and we did like the glasses that the drinks were served in but for me that was the only positive, I didnt think the atmosphere was that good at all and we were there for a few hours, we left there and went to another bar for food and I dont think I will return again. I can't comment on the food as we didn't eat there, it was €7.90 for a pint of Moretti which is standard over pricing when you are in Dublin City and I am from Dublin and work in the hospitality industry.

02/05/2026: There were two of us, and we each ordered a dish and a pint. The pint of Guinness was very well poured and creamy. The fish and chips were a bit small but tasty, and the lasagna was a great choice—delicious and served with chips and salad. The atmosphere was lovely, with a beautiful outdoor green space that's especially nice on sunny days.

28/04/2026: A great local pub for meeting up with friends, having a bite to eat or even for a party. The staff are pleasant and do their best to keep you happy. The food is good and filling.

04/04/2026: Nice gym amazing staff. However there are children running around the gym while we are lifting heavy weights with possibility of causing and accident harming the child and ourselves. This already happened 3 times. Gym is not a place for children.

24/12/2025: The cleaning practices here seriously need improvement. I watched staff use the same cloth to wipe tables, chairs, and even the seating areas where people actually put the shoes on. That means whatever is on the floor is being wiped right onto the tables where people eat. This is basic hygiene and it shouldn’t be overlooked. I can bet my money the same cloth is used to wipe counters. 🤢

15/12/2025: Great coffee and pastry shop in Smithfield! The cardamom bun (Cardi B) is probably one of the best cardamom buns in Dublin! This pastry runs out on weekend by noon so make sure you’re there early to grab one. The cinnamon bun is also very delicious and would recommend it too. The coffee selection at proper order is quite extensive and I appreciate the variety of options that they have to offer. The staff is very helpful and patient, and there is ample space in the cafe. Love this place!

05/05/2026: A very popular, upscale pub with a good selection of food and drinks. The cocktails 🍸 were delicious. Reservations recommended.

05/05/2026: Depends on what you are looking for with food. I enjoyed the seabed and pot roast on different days. The rest of the menu was not my cup of tea. That's just me though. The atmosphere was grand. I would go back for drinks and appetizer food. Recommended for a great time.

07/01/2026: Always a joy to shop here but I just had to sit down and give a 5 star review of experience there this morning. From the moment I entered the shop where the trolley was already pulled out for me, to the man who helped me at the killadoon milk dispenser, to the friendly girl on the checkout and finally the lovely John who helped me load my shopping in the car. I can't praise this shop enough except to finally say that the quality of product and selection is always the best. Thank you so much Supervalu Churchtown ☺️
