The best restaurants in Dublin

03/10/2025: I've given up ordering for delivery. Every second time I get a delivery there's no dressing. Not much of a salad without the dressing.

01/11/2025: 5-star pizza! I haven’t tried their pasta dishes, but their pizzas are absolutely fantastic. The Fiorentina one is a delicious work of art. Staff are very helpful and friendly also.

04/01/2026: Excellent neighborhood pub that has the merit of being welcoming and showing sporting events. I highly recommend it. All the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. And the prices are more than reasonable.

24/12/2025: The cleaning practices here seriously need improvement. I watched staff use the same cloth to wipe tables, chairs, and even the seating areas where people actually put the shoes on. That means whatever is on the floor is being wiped right onto the tables where people eat. This is basic hygiene and it shouldn’t be overlooked. I can bet my money the same cloth is used to wipe counters. 🤢

15/12/2025: Great coffee and pastry shop in Smithfield! The cardamom bun (Cardi B) is probably one of the best cardamom buns in Dublin! This pastry runs out on weekend by noon so make sure you’re there early to grab one. The cinnamon bun is also very delicious and would recommend it too. The coffee selection at proper order is quite extensive and I appreciate the variety of options that they have to offer. The staff is very helpful and patient, and there is ample space in the cafe. Love this place!

27/10/2025: I happened into this place at the corner, thirsty for a pint and hungry for a meal. It was perfect. All I knew of Irish beer was Guinness - I wanted to try something different. The bartender was super friendly, I wish I knew her name, she helped me pick a local lager by lining up a taste of three for me and I picked the Ambush. She was great. The fish and chips were the best. Comfortable inside not too crowded not too empty friendly good music but not overpowering and it was ideal. So I came back two days later and had exactly the same, the bartender remembered me welcoming back, I sat at a table and read my book, had my meal, drank my beer - a cold rainy but perfect night in Dublin.

30/12/2025: I'm Nilson, and on the last Friday of the year I went to the restaurant for dinner for the first time. And I can only thank you for the excellent service and the wonderful food. For me, the best barbecue in Dublin. Thank you very much to everyone who works there.

31/01/2026: Amazing food and wine and the atmosphere is cosy and intimate, perfect for our last meal of our Dublin trip. If we come to Dublin again we will definitely be coming back!

26/01/2026: Lovely food! Group of 7. Some of us had the steak and we said we should have ordered a few servings of chips to share. Desserts didn't appeal to me but everyone else seemed happy with them. I had tiramishu which came in a glass. Small area but food was great and service was professional and friendly. We will be back.

26/06/2025: Great for a quick lunch or a light dinner. You order at the counter, pay and wait at the table. The atmosphere is modern and clean, with nice paintings that catch your attention while you wait. We tried the soup of the day, very creamy and tasty, accompanied by a simple but satisfying BLT sandwich and a turkey bagel.

05/02/2026: Here you can eat the freshest calamari and asparagus. Five stars for the service too. We had Alain at our table, a super friendly and knowledgeable waiter who speaks excellent English and, surprisingly, also excellent Italian. The atmosphere is very nice; a nice stop here in Howth!

13/01/2026: Had the day two of our wedding in the upstairs function room of the Strand House. The platters that were served were beautiful and came out on time. The staff were always very pleasant in the lead up to the event and on the night. The management were very accommodating no matter the request or query.
