The best restaurants in Dublin

03/11/2024: Outside restaurant!!!. Eating there is like playing the roulette. inconsistent food quality. I paid extra for onions rings because last time I ate there, the onions rings were of proper size. Today I got 2 mediocre onion rings; it felt like an insult. The junior meal with 2 chicken goujons And chips at €9.95 is a joke compared to the little kids menu for 5 nuggets & chips which is actually cheaper. Junior meal at €9.95 you deserve at least 3 goujons! Definitely not going there again!

06/11/2024: Been here a few times , staff usually ok , ordered a glass of savignon and it was awful, hardly any taste off it , I think it was watered down or else a very cheap wine , paid 8 euros took a sip and left. Before I left I said it to barman and he just said ok , he should have shown me what wine he had first, it was a wine from Romania, he did not offer to change it , I will not be back

31/10/2024: Great falafel and fried cauliflower. There are 3 Umi locations in Dublin but I like this one the best. It's usually quiet with a relaxed vibe.

29/04/2024: The milkshakes at Blackrock are divine I was told the flavour is real fruit and chocolate amazing! You have to try them and the salted caramel ice cream.

The cakes are not only beautifully designed but also delicious, making every celebration even more special. I have always received my orders on time, which is crucial for any event. The pricing is very reasonable, especially considering the high quality of the products. Additionally, the staff has always been friendly and accommodating, making the ordering process a pleasure. 18/10/2024: Lovely place, lovely atmosphere. Food was great, starters, and desserts were amazing. Steak was not the best, just normal, a bit fatty and over cooked

18/10/2024: Let me start from the good things. Staff wass pleasant and tried to make us comfortable at any given moment. The atmosphere and the location were spot on, I’ve eaten before inside but the terrace is great too. Now, food: prawns were good, I’ve also enjoyed the bread and butter served before the starter. We were a table of 7 people, 6 of us got a T-bone steak and none of us was satisfied with both quality and cooking. The meat flavour was below average for an “award winning steak” and while some of us asked if the steak was actually grilled because the meat looked almost “boiled”, others ordered a medium rare and received a medium to well done steak. Dessert was fine but not able to bring up the dinner to a decent level.

10/10/2024: The food looks good, I just ordered a coffee though. The place itself looks lovely but the service was poor. Staff are moving at such a slow pace, despite a growing queue of customers. Not enough urgency or friendliness from them.

01/04/2024: I've visited this place a few times already. It's fantastic – the food is delicious, and the service is amazing. The manager, a gracious lady, welcomes us warmly and goes the extra mile to ensure we have a wonderful experience. When she noticed my toddler reaching for the steel fork, she quickly offered safe wooden spoons instead. She even provided a child seat for her. The moment we stepped into the cafe, we felt right at home. My daughter thoroughly enjoyed herself, giving flying kisses to the staff on the way out.

30/03/2024: The quality of the food was average, there was no Diet Coca! The taco bread was crep and soft!!

28/10/2024: The food was great! The attention is good as well, but they were very fast to atend us as well to prepare and bring us the food. The sake they offer is not the best as other places, but the food is worth and not mad on prices. The ramens are top class and the futomaki as well!

10/10/2024: Devastated to say after five years of just loving this place, I passed by last night and it has permanently closed. What a great crew and super neighbourhood restaurant. Gutted. It seems increasingly impossible to run a business in Dublin due to runaway costs.

18/08/2024: Been here before and had a wonderful meal and experience. Decided to go again and do you know what ? Absolutely even better !!!! I had a. Crab and prawn pasta dish which was fantastic while my wife had chicken which was succulent. The prices are very fair and not exorbitant. This is a gem of a restaurant which does everything right with great service and excellent food. Chef could win Masterchef. We’ll be back soon. Highly, highly recommended.
