18/08/2026: Me and my girlfriend come here from 8 years now.. Cafe Sofia serves the best Irish breakfast in Dublin.. its been the same quality and taste all over the years… and very lovely staff and the owner Amy simply rocks..highly Recommend it

08/07/2026: Went here for lunch on Tuesday. Surprisingly very few people, so we could choose any place. Best napoletan pizza in Dublin that I've tried so far. Kids menu. Great atmosphere for a lazy lunch. Service varies

02/09/2026: Staff are lovely and professional. Food is quite nice, just wish they used real maple syrup instead of maple flavour syrup.

23/08/2026: We ordered the buttermilk pancakes, and they were absolutely delicious! They also provided maple syrup at no extra cost. The food came out quickly, even though the cafe was full. The tables are usually set up for two people, but I noticed that the staff were very accommodating and happy to push tables together for larger groups. Would definitely visit again!

29/09/2026: Best South Indian Thali I've Ever Had! Had an absolutely amazing experience at Spice Village Tenture! Without a doubt, this is the best South Indian Thali I have ever had. The thali was incredibly authentic, with a fantastic variety of dishes, each packed with rich South Indian flavors. From the perfectly prepared sambar, idli vada and Doas to the delicious curries, chutneys, and fresh accompaniments, every item was bursting with taste. The portions were generous, and everything was served fresh and hot. What impressed me most was the balance of flavors and the quality of the ingredients. It truly felt like enjoying a traditional homemade South Indian meal. The service was excellent, the staff were friendly and attentive, and the overall atmosphere was warm and welcoming. If you're looking for authentic South Indian food, Spice Village Tenture is a must-visit. Highly recommended, and I can't wait to come back again!

22/09/2026: It's a really nice bar but is unfortunately very let down by it's staff who lack any customer service skills at all. They simply don't want to be there and certainly do not want anyone else there either. I've been here a few times now, there is one young gentleman from Dublin himself who is great but the rest of the staff are as rude as they come with no personality whatsoever, truly bringing this lovely establishment down. It's a shame.

03/08/2026: Siam Thai Rathmines is one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in Dublin. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly welcoming, attentive, and genuinely friendly, making us feel looked after throughout the evening. The décor is absolutely stunning, creating a stylish and relaxing atmosphere that’s perfect for any occasion. Their cocktail menu is fantastic, and I highly recommend the Emerald Bloom—it was beautifully presented, light, refreshing, and one of the nicest cocktails I’ve had. The beef satay skewers and duck tamarind were definite highlights. Not only were they absolutely delicious, but the presentation was exceptional and really made the dishes stand out. It’s clear that a lot of care goes into every detail, from the food to the drinks. The combination of exceptional service, gorgeous surroundings, beautifully presented food, and amazing cocktails made for a brilliant evening. I can’t wait to come back and would highly recommend Siam Thai Rathmines to anyone looking for a memorable meal. Five stars

13/08/2026: I had the joy of eating at Assassination Custard with three friends. It was one of the best meals I’ve had this year. The menu was creative and exiting, and brought together dishes with a broad range of tastes and flavours. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable, and happy to chat. The small size of the restaurant adds an intimate yet airy atmosphere. I’ll be bringing friends to Assassination Custard for a long time to come

31/07/2026: There is a reason a small place like assassination custard can last 11 years and that's the quality of the food and the service. An amazing husband and wife team serving up uncomplicated small plates of amazing food that are so flavourful. Order three to four per person and you will be well fed. Either of the team will talk you through the menu which changes daily due to what is in season and market availability, It Is a small room with a great communal vibe to it, unpretentious and homely. I don't take pictures of my food, I smell and taste it before I consume it. So no pictures here, whatever you order you won't be disappointed. A great place to visit in a group of four, get the large table order lots of different plates and share.

24/09/2026: Loved the pizza - I got the Locard and hubby got pepperoni, we both thoroughly enjoyed them. This is inside a pub and must be popular bc reserved tables inside and outside tables were 90% full at 1700 on a Thursday. Music playing was not my thing. Stayed for the yummy pizza and very much enjoyed.

31/08/2026: Terrible experience. I was misled by the fact that the menu states that their gluten-free dough is made in-house rather than being a pre-made base. This led me to believe that they knew what they were doing when it came to gluten-free pizza, cross-contamination and coeliac disease. When ordering, I was told that despite the dough being gluten-free, the pizza would be cooked in the same wood-fired oven as the regular pizzas, without even using an aluminium tray. At that point, I asked them to remove my pizza from the order, but I politely asked them to make this information clear on their website, because as someone with coeliac disease, I expected a completely different level of awareness and organisation. The response left me speechless. I was told that there was no need to cook the pizzas in separate areas because gluten is “neutralised” by high temperatures, and that other people with coeliac disease had eaten their pizzas without any problems. If gluten were actually neutralised by heat, what would be the point of preparing gluten-free dough in the first place? Coeliac disease simply wouldn’t exist… The staff’s arrogance and the fact that they tried to lecture me about how my own condition works, after 26 years of living with coeliac disease, was absolutely infuriating. You cannot fool someone who has been coeliac for 26 years with the story that gluten is neutralised by heat — but someone who has only recently been diagnosed might actually believe it. Disgusting.

30/08/2026: Went a few times and never ever likely. All is good but the guy who i assume being a manager, who bosses around and is rude. He litterally threw me and my friend to a table, threw the menus at us, did not allow mw to say a word too interested to his own. I have the impression that were I a huge guy with a football shirt the treatment would be different. I went more than once, because one time could be a bad day. But he always treated me like that and the last time was awful and we left without even consuming. I miss it being the Bru House honestly

13/08/2026: This pub probably has the best food in all of Ireland. We had the Irish trio of fish and chips, shepherd's pie, and lamb stew. Everything was incredibly delicious! You wouldn't expect to find such a good place in the heart of Dublin, a place that isn't just for tourists but actually values ​​good food! Delicious food at typical Irish prices and super friendly staff! Highly recommended!
