Nando's

Dublin
04/02/2026: Absolutely loved the juicy chicken — perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The steamed broccoli was fresh and tender, making the whole meal feel balanced and satisfying. I’ll definitely be back for this again!
04/02/2026: The chicken was delicious, and everything in the package was great too. Highly recommended!

The Library Bar

Dublin
15/01/2026: Great and lovely stay on such a fine site with incredible views and very kind service
07/01/2026: A lovely hotel with great service, if a little care-worn round the edges! The food in both restaurants was great and the added bonus of fireworks in Dún Laoghaire from our balcony on NYE!

Old Music Shop

Dublin
02/02/2026: We had a lovely enjoyable afternoon tea here where the food, tea and coffee were delicious. The favourite was the toasted fruit cake. The selection of savoury and sweet were all tasty. The staff were very friendly and attentive.
08/01/2026: We came for afternoon tea with my 8 years old daughter as her very first experience of this tradition. Until a certain point, everything was lovely: a calm atmosphere, beautiful table setting, and the feeling of taking part in a special ritual together. However, the moment that changed everything was when she noticed that other tables had plenty of fresh strawberries on their afternoon tea stands, while ours had none at all. For an adult, this might seem like a small detail. But for a child — and especially when it’s her first introduction to afternoon tea — it matters a lot. Her immediate question was simple and heartbreaking: “Why do they have it and we don’t?” From that moment, my attitude towards the place shifted. Afternoon tea is about care, attention, and making every guest feel equally valued. When that balance is broken — particularly for a child — the experience loses its magic. Perhaps it was a mistake or an ingredient shortage, but no explanation was offered, and no alternative was suggested. Sometimes a small gesture or a few words can change everything — but that didn’t happen here. The venue itself is charming and has great potential, but for us this visit ended with disappointment. When it comes to a child’s first impression, details are not minor — they are the foundation of trust and memory.

Giulio's Baldoyle

Dublin
02/12/2025: I bought two pizzas and they were very delicious. The flavors were great, the crust was just right, and everything tasted fresh. I’m very satisfied and would definitely order again!
20/11/2025: We ordered southern fried chicken. It was the best and juciest chicken we have got.

Delahunt

Dublin
06/01/2026: I booked Delahunt three weeks before my wife’s birthday on December 28th and answered an email on Christmas Day to confirm the 1.30pm booking. When we arrived, the restaurant was locked up with nobody inside. We rang the phone number, but there was no answer. Given the time of year, most restaurants in the vicinity were closed, and we ended up eating in a place that was fine, but not the kind of venue you’d choose for a special occasion. On our way back to the city centre, we saw the lights on in Delahunt and people inside. Enquiring as to what happened to our booking, we were told by a senior looking person that he didn’t know about the reservation system and he would get back to me by email with an explanation. No such contact has been made. I sincerely hope that anyone who decides to visit Delahunt is not subjected to the same shoddy and couldn’t-care-less approach that we have experienced. The restaurant had three weeks to cancel my booking, but did not have sufficient regard for their customers to do so, or to follow up with an explanation or apology. The Delahunt website says that no shows to the restaurant will be charged €20 a head, which seems eminently fair. It’s telling that they don’t hold themselves to the same minimum standard of behaviour, having done a no show themselves on our reservation.
06/01/2026: we had eight people, and we’re given a private room. Our server was French and an excellent knowledge of the food and wine pairings. The food was first class. The restaurant deserves a Michelin star

La Dolce Vita

Dublin
10/01/2026: Where to even begin? 1) Michelin-star prices for frozen microwave dinner quality food - supermarket budget own brand frozen calamari with the consistency / texture of minced meat, 5 pieces for €13 - seafood "risotto" made with basmati rice, 4 small frozen prawn tails and no other pieces of seafood, copious amounts of cream and salt, taste and texture more akin to a cheap curry - ravioli in canned cream of tomato soup masquerading as a sauce - chewy, supermarket budget own brand quality olives on soggy bruschetta - tiny pizza with a soggy base, dried cheese, hardly any toppings, could well have been frozen, for €23!! - no bread / anything similar for the table - 2 coke zeros both served flat, I suspect poured from a 2L family value bottle rather than from cans 2) Hidden 10% service charge for a table of two 3) Poorly ventilated, stuffy and smelly space - you will leave with your clothes and hair stinking of deep fried fast food 4) Had to ask several times for water for the table - it eventually came after we had finished our meal, I suspect just another subtle way to squeeze more money out of you by ordering drink refills instead It's baffling how this tourist trap has gotten any positive reviews outside of bots / fake accounts by the owners / friends of same or perhaps tourists who only had time for airplane food on their flight to Ireland to compare it to.
04/01/2026: Had dinner here this evening with my son, my God it was amazing. From the time we walked in until we walked out the door our waitress Alex was very attentive, serving with a big smile on her face making us feel so welcome and looked after. For starters we had the king prawns, chowder and shared a garlic bread, it was devine....from the first bite until the bowls/plates were empty the flavours were amazing 🤤 i'd have asked for seconds only we had mains on the way.Mains were Raviolli and Octopus Spaghetti, both were exquisite, again the flavours were amazing, the chef really knows how to put flavours together. A couple of glasses of Pinot Grigio to wash it down we moved onto Dessert, we shared the profiteroles,my favs, presented well and tasted delish. A great hidden little gem with great food, service and atmosphere, easily accessed from multiple bus routes, limited parking also available. We will definitely be back again to try the rest of the menu 😁

O'Neill's

Dublin
01/02/2026: Typical Irish pub, very nice. We went here for lunch; there were seven of us. Some dishes were very good, others not so much. You have to get a table and order at the bar; when they have it ready, they serve it to you at the table. It took almost an hour to serve us.
28/01/2026: If you are looking for good, this isn’t the place. The pic of Fish & chips may look good but it was warm and soft, nothing crispy, they may be under heat lamp for a while. As for the lamb on the dry side.

Al Vesuvio

Dublin
02/12/2025: I’ve been going to Al Vesuvio for years, and it used to be one of my favourite Italian restaurants in Dublin (I’m Italian). Unfortunately, the quality has consistently declined recently, and my most recent visit was very disappointing. The pasta arrived lukewarm, the tiramisù was mostly cream, the cappuccino wasn’t good, and the portions felt very small for the price. It’s a real pity, because the venue and atmosphere are genuinely lovely. But after this experience, I wouldn't recommend it.
23/11/2025: Perfect. Thank you. Really very good. Very fresh ☺️

Cill Airne

Dublin
04/12/2025: We had our Christmas party here on the 29th of November and I couldn't fault the experience. The staff were attentive and friendly and the atmosphere was brilliant. I would highly recommend the bar area for a staff party. Thanks again and we will be back!
02/12/2025: Great place, cozy and delicious food! Great Guinness! Incredible service by Igor, if I'm not mistaken. We'll be back soon.
