07/03/2025: 10/10 restaurant. Went on a date here and the service was amazing and the food was lovely. Great selection of wines, beers and cocktails. Wide variety of food with vegetarian options. Staff were so friendly and attentive.
06/03/2025: Very little space, lots of people, there should be fewer seats, it's even hard to move from your seat. Very cramped. The food is good, but the desserts are very poor, unpalatable, small portions, I don't think I can eat.

15/04/2025: We visited Hardcastle during our time in Dublin and found it… fine. There wasn’t anything particularly wrong, but nothing really stood out either. The food and service were okay, but compared to other places we tried in the city, it felt a bit underwhelming.
If you’re looking for something familiar and comfortable, it’ll probably hit the mark. But if you’re after something unique, exciting, or truly memorable, there are definitely better options nearby.
Not a bad stop if you’re in the area and want something safe and predictable, just don’t expect to be wowed.

28/03/2025: We went in there this evening to try and get some food. It was quite busy but the host/manager said to sit at the bar until a table was free (~15 mins) which was fine, but then we were definitely just forgotten about.
We just left after our second round, once we saw others getting seated after we came in…
If they had just said from the outset “sorry, it’s busy, nothing’s free” - that would have been fair enough. But it felt pretty sly to let us sit at the bar and order drinks, on the premise we were waiting for a table for food, when that clearly wasn’t the case.
Won’t be going back!

16/03/2025: Tuve que escribir un comentario para estos chicos, soy un cliente regular en línea para llevar y no solo es la comida siempre tan deliciosa y fresca, su servicio al cliente es irreal. Hubo una confusión con mi pedido, que nunca sucede, y lo tenían ordenado tan rápida y generosamente. Definitivamente la mejor pizza alrededor de estas partes.
08/03/2025: Delivered the wrong order. Not helpful when called to solve the issue. Took over an hour to arrive, and when I re-ordered the right food, it took just as long. Sadly wouldn’t recommend!

26/03/2025: Good location and nice staff but very old and dated. A lot of strong bad smells on the way to the private room upstairs that we had booked for an hour or so between a wedding ceremony and dinner so did the job.
When we walked in at first the atmosphere was a bit tense. The barman recognised that we were there for the wedding party and quickly gave us directions upstairs where it was more private.
Wouldn't be my first.choice in Temple Bar but be an ok stop for one drink.on a pub crawl maybe.

30/03/2025: I love this place, I always come here before going home, but is getting bad, the glass of wine is 8,50 but it is a small glass of wine, I work in temple bar and the glass of wine is 7,50.... and they are closing too early, sometimes 23:00 is the last order! I Still love this place but they have to improve, staff is changing every month! Owner, pay attencion

I ordered their Chicken Benedict.
I will go back and order the same again for sure.
The side salad was very fresh and tasty, eggs perfectly poached, great crispy bacon, and that buttermilk chicken is excellent.

25/03/2025: Had lunch here recently. Very good service. Food of course was very well made and so beautifully presented. Taste wise, very delicate and what you would expect in a restaurant of this calibre. To be honest, of all the restaurants offering this style of fine dining in Dublin, it's probably not my favourite but everything is very well done. Fresh bread is incredible but you probably won't leave the restaurant feeling very full so it might not be for everyone but if you like this style of food and atmosphere then you wouldn't be disappointed.

06/04/2025: This is a very small café that sells pastries and baked goods. The place looks really cute, but there isn’t enough seating. The atmosphere is lovely. I had high hopes for the pastries and tried the pain au chocolat and croissants—the chocolate they used was quite dark, which isn’t really to my taste.
15/01/2025: Really good prices and friendly staff. The almond croissant is the best I've ever had.
