The best restaurants in Dublin

21/05/2025: Absolutely awful experience, me and my bf went there for our 3 year anniversary. We ordered 3 Chinese dish, couldn’t eat the grilled fish because it was so sweet. When I was paying the girl at the till was saying oh that’s normal for it to be sweet, me as a Chinese people that have been to sichuan many times I ve never had anything like that. Plus I don’t think the fish or the other pork feet dish we ordered was fresh. She was even asking us to scan the revolut code to make payment. There was a charge of €1.5 written on the receipt but we weren’t told that’s the charge for the take away box.

06/06/2025: Hugely disappointing meal. Prawn pil pil was a thick creamy sauce, nothing of olive oil and garlic . The Pam fried sea bass lacked seasoning and the veg/potato was minimum. I won’t be returning

31/05/2025: Great place to have pints and a very good Sat night, as they have acoustic music in there. It’s really difficult not to be there every Saturday, since I’m in the neighbourhood- 1 min away haha - and can hear the acoustic music and laugh of people having fun in there. Would highly and definitely recommend this pub! Not to mention the garden they have in the back garden, which makes the place even better.

13/03/2025: This is the best latte in the ‘hood, and there’s plenty of competition. The staff are so, so lovely. Always a friendly hello and a treat for the pup. The overnight oats are exceptional, the sausage roll is on point, and the pastrami sandwich is an unexpected standout. We’re so lucky to have a place like Coffee District and its team in the area. Can’t recommend enough.

08/04/2025: Great place to go to, amazing owners. But pricey, but way better value than say Temple Bar. And there’s something special about the building as well!

01/05/2025: Wouldnt recomend, soooo overpriced... and whats with the paying before you eat? Scared of someone returning everything?... when i got my burger i thought they mixed it up with a kids meal, burger itself was not taken care of at all, all over the place and the vegetables were old and dried out looking, i also I got the spicy bonless wings and they were the worst iv ever eaten... they were literally microwaved from cold with the sauce on. If you ask me, I'd check the mcdonalds across the street

30/03/2025: Yummy food, good service and really yummy milkshakes The restaurant is clean and the bathrooms are also clean and its great. A tad bit pricey though.

27/04/2025: Had a great night here with 4 friends. Food excellent. Good service, great buzz. Very good live music -chap on guitar- great sound if a bit loud for us! But good to see restaurants laying on live music. Highly recommend

03/06/2025: Ordered the Jumbo prawn for starter, was very disappointed as it was as flat as a pancake, I've seen others order it and a lady in front of us also order it where the prawn had curled up and expanded after been cooked, I wanted to send it back but it was my daughters birthday and didn't want to upset her, I was also charged an additional €4 for the privilege. I'm surprised they let it go to our table as we were returning customers from a bad experience which they were aware of. The restaurant does need some tlc the chairs were really in bad condition, an over haul of the interior is needed.

17/05/2025: **Disappointing Experience on a Special Occasion** We visited this restaurant to celebrate a birthday, having mentioned the occasion in our booking. However, there was no acknowledgment or courtesy extended, despite witnessing other tables—some with only two guests—receiving celebratory treatment. As a group of six, this left us feeling overlooked. Service was particularly poor. We were accompanied by two children, yet the staff were so inattentive that my daughter had to go to the reception herself just to ask for colors. We waited at least 15 minutes, repeatedly calling for service before anyone attended to us. When the food finally arrived, it came **before** the plates did, making the experience feel rushed and disorganized. Additionally, hygiene was concerning—the cutlery, especially the glasses, had visible spots, leading us to avoid drinking from them altogether. The entire experience felt transactional and impersonal, despite us spending over €150. While the food itself was enjoyable, we were surprised by the poor service, especially since it wasn’t particularly busy on a Thursday evening. The restaurant also seemed a bit rundown, adding to the overall disappointment. Unfortunately, based on this experience, we wouldn’t recommend this restaurant and by no means its a fine dining as casial restaurants nearby clearly trump them in terms of food really sad after being a long time customer

17/05/2025: The salad was decent enough. The two of us ordered 1 bottle of water, had to ask for a glass. In the men's restroom: Got soap for my hands - no water. Tried to charge my mobiles: No power in the sockets. Infrastructure and routines need to be sorted out here.

11/05/2025: We went to Eddie Rockets yesterday. It was to Celebrate my Birthday. I always loved their food. I got a Chicken Fillet Burger. I noticed that the Fillet was smaller. I got Chilli Cheese Fries too and a Chocolate malt Shake. I also tried the peaches 🍑 and Cream shake. My son got Chicken tenders, Fries and the peaches and Cream shake too. It was lovely too. He also got a kinder Bueno Sundae and a Coke Float. Yes I see they have changed the menu. They used to serve Breakfast. I used to love their breakfasts too. But they must not do them anymore. The old uniform has changed too. I used to work there as well. I know I used to work as a waitress there. The staff were friendly. The only other thing was the toilets were bad. My son went to use them and said they were bad. Maybe you should sort out the toilets as well. It's not good to have the toilets in bad condition. It is a good Eddie Rockets keep it good.

25/05/2025: Great food and great service. The staff are very friendly and make you feel welcome. Have been a few times and will definitely be back soon.

20/05/2025: Atmosphere and service were great. Unfortunately the Courgette Conchiglie while tasty - had barely three very thin slices of courgette- this was disappointing. Bolognaise was good, though a little small.
