15/10/2025: Really nice pub! The service is great and people are nice. Slightly expensive tho for a gin and tonic > 9€. The atmosphere was great and not too loud, just perfect!

02/10/2025: Just an outstanding pub. Wonderful servers, great place to go for a pint, good music, and wonderful affordable food!

30/12/2025: Fantastic pizzas, delivered hot. Shame that the chicken was over cooked that the crust was rock hard. The garlic sauce was over powering. Will order the pizzas again.

13/12/2025: First time ordering from here. Got a pepperoni pizza. Really tasty. Will order again Update: Order all the time now. Really can't fault the pizza BUT on the odd occasion its completely different pepperoni for some reason that isnt as nice . Normally the nicest pizza I've ever had

23/05/2026: Awful. €36 for a Chinese style platter. Tiny portion of ribs, stale prawn crackers, and soggy chips. The chicken is diggers chicken you buy in a big bag in Dunnes with McDonnells curry sauce. It's like something you make at home if you're blind. It was my son's confirmation but after I got the food, I walked out and left the family there. It's sad cause it used to be nice. Not any more. I don't drink but my friends say the pints are muck too. There is nothing else around that area so they have a monopoly and don't care as they are busy enough.

11/04/2026: Shoba was so attentive to our group and let us move tables depending on the weather even though we didn’t have reservations which was hugely appreciated! We stayed way longer than we meant to because we had such a fun time and were at such lovely tables! Thank you Shoba!!!

11/05/2026: My partner and I walked to Farmer Browns this past Sunday 10/05/26, hoping to enjoy the evening sun with some food and a drink or two. After waiting patiently for a table outside, we finally managed to snag a spot in the sun at approximately 5:55pm. ​Unfortunately, the experience went downhill immediately. A waitress came to our table, cleared the previous occupants' glasses, and walked away without acknowledging us or providing menus. After waiting a few moments, my partner went inside to order drinks and inquire about food. She was met by three staff members who barely acknowledged her presence. When she asked about ordering, she was told the kitchen had already stopped serving food and they were only doing drinks (??) despite the posted Sunday kitchen hours stating they serve until 8pm. ​To say we were appalled by this is an understatement, so we decided to take our business elsewhere. It felt as though there was a complete lack of supervision or proper management on-site, and the staff simply decided to close the kitchen early for their own convenience. ​Management should take note of this, as it was a significant lapse in service and basic hospitality. We won't be rushing back.

10/04/2026: Been multiple times at this stage and the burgers are always amazing and leave you feeling full. Great atmosphere too later in the evening.

04/10/2025: Great place for some good light lunch bites, friendly staff, fairly cheap, buzzing atmosphere, food was delicious and quite varied in the range of menu items. I'd definitely recommend a trip in here if you fancy a coffee and a chat or a light bite. I'll be returning.

24/11/2025: Went for a day spa with lunch. Absolutely fabulous

23/11/2025: Stayed here again last week after a great stay last Christmas. Unfortunately, the service and food in this hotel has taken a nose dive in the last 12 months. Bar was packed when we arrived and there was no bar staff working for at least 10 minutes to serve anyone. I’ve never seen this before. The dinner inclusive menu has really been stripped back to basics. The food last year was gorgeous with plenty of choice. However this time round there was a choice of about 4 mains of which one was steak with a €12 supplement. I had fish and chips both times and the difference in quality was stark. No comparison between the two dishes. Breakfast the following day was a joke. It was like Dublin airport with eveyone coming and going. There was a queue of about 10 people waiting for one toaster where everyone had to toast their slice 3 or 4 times to actually get it to toast. Needless to say your hot breakfast is cold then by the time you sit down. We mentioned it to staff but it seemed to fall on deaf ears. I know this hotel is part of a huge chain and definitely lacks that touch where your custom is valued. Will not be back.

05/10/2025: Had a lovely meal on Sunday. Staff are fantastic. Make sure to either book a table or get there before 1pm as it fills very quickly. That's the only quibble I would have.

11/05/2026: Popped in for Bank Holiday lunch !! DIVINE charcuterie board , divine glass of white wine …. Shelly & Piadro were excellent and attentive , will definately be back 👍

06/05/2026: V happy all over Steak offer of 25 with chips and a beer . And pepper sauce excellent value and tasty Nachos diff than normal but very nice A greatvspot for a family also kids welcome nice seating too . Very happy all round

14/12/2025: Went here for a xmas party and it was honestly really good. Has a good vibe to the place which is nice, all the staff super friendly. We were up the top near a fire and it was amazing felt like we were at home. Decor great. The guy who was singing was really good. The food was okay, I ordered tenders and I just felt they were a bit over done but my colleagues all loved what they got. The chips were amazing and tasty. I would definitely go back.

13/11/2025: First visit and was absolutely delighted with the genuinely friendly service. Very relaxed atmosphere too. Food was great except the fish was quite bland, only complaint. Cocktails 🤪!! just to enjoyable, 😁 so again, really nice host and staff, best we've came across for quite a while, so would definitely recommend🍸🍹🍷🍺🥧
