O'Neill's
Dublin
29/10/2024: Fantastic atmosphere, the typical Irish place with many details, clean bathrooms and very good food. We ate on the recommendation of some girls who were also there, meatloaf, sandwich and hamburger, all with abundant garnish and accompanied by beer, of course!
28/10/2024: Delicious lunch in a very friendly atmosphere, large selection and many corners to sit, centrally located.

15/05/2024: Went here for my birthday. Lovely staff amazing atmosphere they provided cheese and meat platters. The wine and spritzes were divine. Couldn’t recommend enough for an event or just a chill glass of wine on a Saturday.

Borza
Dublin
20/11/2024: Without a doubt the worst fish and chips I have ever had in my life. Menu says chips are €4.50, cod is €7… charged €14 and the staff reasoning is the €7 is for a ‘1/3 piece’. It was like biting into a brick of batter. Asked for tartare sauce / lemon and was told ‘they’re not a charity’. Genuinely terrible overall.
20/11/2024: We got the smoked cod and chips and it was excellent, I am looking forward to trying the pizza next time.

The Bretzel Bakery & Cafe
Dublin
16/07/2024: The staff are EXTREMELY rude. I’ve been going to this bakery for roughly a year and recently there’s been extreme attitude, scoffing, and eye rolling when asking for a bagel with cream cheese. The first time my partner and I thought oh they’re just having a bad day, everyone’s human it happens. Today I ordered two bagels with cream cheese and one with salmon and they forgot one. That’s fine, miscommunications happen and I’ve worked in the service industry for nearly ten years. I completely understand. What I can’t abide is the younger irish employee snapping at me yelling “they’re coming” when she tried to take my full coffees off the table and I just said oh I’m still waiting on that bagel if that’s okay. There is no excuse for rudeness especially after making such a fuss over the ordering of bagels. Someone else dared to order a bagel with cream cheese after me and the irish girl walked back and said “I’m sorry” (very audibly) when she handed her colleague a singular bagel. It is a bagel, not anything difficult or taxing.
To make it worse when I talked to the other employee she tried to blame me saying I ordered it wrong and I said whether it was a miscommunication on my part or yours there’s no excuse for rudeness and I asked if bagels were a big operation because there’s been serious attitude twice now after ordering. She also said they are just very stressed, meanwhile when I came in they were leaning on the counters chatting and giggling and after I ordered the queue never grew beyond 5. I understand stress, I understand a bad day, but this needs to be nipped in the bud. I have serious reservations coming back as the food doesn’t warrant the terrible service.

The menu offers a good variety of options, including vegetarian and vegan choices. The portions are generous and satisfying.
