23/03/2025: Came back to Saba after a long break, it was absolutely superb. Very accommodating service given the requests - they made a delicious penang for me despite it not being on the menu. Bravo!

03/05/2025: Always our go to, family favourite. With such a varied menu it's very easy to keep everyone happy! Great children's menu! We have been going here for years and have yet to be disappointed.

26/04/2025: The pasta was really very tasty, but unfortunately the portions were a bit too small for the price. The service was super super nice, you immediately felt welcome. Unfortunately, the interior design wasn't quite as inviting, but more could be done with it. But I would still recommend it

28/05/2025: went in yesterday they were pouring out flat soft drinks from bottles from god knows where rather than giving from machine, this was the manager asking the staff to do, when I said to him he can't he can't be giving to customers he rolled his eyes and asked what the problem was, never again

02/06/2025: Lovely food and great service. We were well looked after by John Paul and his staff. Complimentary warm bread served with red pepper dip was delicious! Myself and my husband had starters of Buratta and vegetable soup both really good, main course of chicken and halibut didn't disappoint either. Shared the passion fruit cheesecake dessert which was yummy. Thank you John Paul we'll definitely be back! Breda & Tony

16/04/2025: Mi esposa y yo comimos aquí esta noche, he comido aquí varias veces durante mi estancia en Dublín, John Paul y su equipo son excelentes, la comida era y, siempre es increíble, la calidad es insuperable, nunca se apresuró, buen ambiente y un montón para elegir. Ya sea solo, en pareja o en grupo, lo recomendaría encarecidamente.

14/05/2025: Julie was my waitress today. She was pleasant and kind and offered great selections of things to do while I'm here on holiday with my husband. My lunch was the BEST I have had since I have been here.

04/05/2025: You can tell they aren’t use to having non white customers. Was treated very differently to everyone else to the point where I wasn’t even offered water on my table just given the meal I ordered with no form of conversation nor was there any form of welcome on arrival. Please note I had to walk up to the bar Everytime I needed something as nobody would come near my table.The meal itself had some burnt and inedible bits. Very disappointed in the service. Felt so out of places. When I went to them to pay instead of someone coming to me like they did everyone else, I asked for water as there was none of my table and one of the waitresses sniggered. Very disappointed. Would not recommend if you’re non white as the atmosphere may not be welcoming for you

15/04/2025: We stay at The Mespil regularly and just love everything about it. Michelle and all the staff from reception, the bar, restaurant and housekeeping are amazing. It has a lovely homely feel for a hotel in the city. Couldn’t contemplate staying anywhere else.

08/05/2025: Went to this bar last month after receiving a leaflet from one of the comedians performing. Had a lovely night full of laughs watching the comedy and the bartender behind the bar was hospitable and very friendly. Highly recommend.

08/05/2025: Absolutely loved this little gem of a pub in Dublin! The atmosphere is warm and cozy, with Pub music that perfectly complements the setting. The locals are incredibly friendly and welcoming, making you feel like part of the community from the moment you walk in. Greetings to Ian and His Guys, from Germany! The drink prices are very reasonable, and the service is prompt and attentive. What really sets this pub apart, though, is the attention to detail in the decor - it's clear that the owners have put their heart and soul into creating a truly special place. If you're looking for an authentic Irish pub experience, look no further. Highly recommended!

12/06/2025: Lovely interior, lots of space between tables, food is amazing for a great price!! Probably the best fries I've had in a long time. Highly recommend the goats sambo, the cheese was delicious with great complimentary ingredients, the bread was perfectly toasted

10/06/2025: My friends and i dropped into this cafe for some lunch.. all staff was very welcoming and friendly very approachable, i love that its a friendly environment to also be able to bring your dog :). The coffee is made at just the right temperature. The food is really nice also.

09/06/2025: Busy, but feel free to queue or wait for a spot. They work quickly and therefore there is a lot of turnover, which does seem a bit rushed. There are also many tables so they can accommodate many people. This does make it a bit less atmospheric. The service is friendly and the choice is good. Portions are not very big.

12/05/2025: Lovely pub with a nice atmosphere and decent food, but €6:90 a pint is outrageous! Everyone's attitude nowadays is well we're still cheaper than temple bar! Absolutely no justification to be charging almost €7 for a pint!

30/03/2025: Me and 3 friends (we are all from the uk) went to Dublin to watch the shamrock rovers vs bohemians Derby at the aviva stadium....we were looking for a Guinness or two before the match....so walking towards the stadium we came across this pub that looked closed....and then a guy that was hanging around outside asked who we supported to which we replied in an English accent that we were neutrals here to watch a game....the guy ushered us inside to a great bar full of people with a great atmosphere 👍.....really enjoyed our few hours there and would love to visit again next time I'm in Dublin

04/06/2025: Bartender was quite rude, and it seemed as if they sent home our entire group out an hour before closing only because we aren’t originally from Dublin, even though we had resided here for a month already. Decent pizza and drinks but will not return because of poor service. Very unwelcoming.
