30/11/2025: Very nice pub, reasonable prices and a good atmosphere. The music isn't too loud, which allows for conversation with friends. Very well located.

25/03/2026: I am a tourist from Canada, and my friend who lives in London took me to Pearl Liang. It’s a decent place for a business lunch or a family gathering for dinner. The food overall was great, except for the signature crispy aromatic duck—it was a bit too dry, almost like eating tree bark and the dessert was just okay as well. That said, the service was excellent, very attentive and professional 👍. Overall, still a pleasant dining experience.

15/03/2026: Very well priced considering the area.Waiting staff very polite unlike Chinatown.Our favourite dish was the braised pork with sauce.We will be coming back and with more friends.

18/10/2025: Had dinner upstairs at ASADOR with friends and we managed to fit 5 people comfortably at a table normally for 4. The staff were attentive and friendly from start to finish. We shared some of the breads and spreads, then each tried a main and a side—every dish was delicious, with perfectly sized portions. For dessert, we all went for the chocolate fondant with ice cream, which was a highlight. Great dining experience overall!

15/09/2025: Myself and some friends popped in there Saturday after we did the Vintage Afternoon Tea Tour on the bus, the girls had gone in here earlier before the tour for a half hour and liked it so we went back there, the place was busy so no seating inside and that was roughly at around 2.30pm so we had to sit outside in the yard which I didnt like at all because it was freezing. I did see a yard heater at the back but not where we were sitting, first off they dont take cash at the bar outside and the guy behind the bar was very smart about it so I had to go inside each time to get a drink and the bar staff there were not impressed I had cash one guy said to the girl serving " she wants a Moretti and she is paying cash " and made a face then snapped the cash out of my hand so bad manners all round. My next issue is the toilets they are unisex so when we went in there was a stink from them of urine and to use the bathrooms I had to close the toilet seat down whilst having my hand wrapped in toilet paper after a man used it and also had to wipe away urine that he had left there on the toilet !! To me that is disgusting and why women and men have to use the same bathrooms is beyond me, as the day went on the toilets just got worse and I didnt see anyone coming in to clean them. The girls serving outside were nice and we did like the glasses that the drinks were served in but for me that was the only positive, I didnt think the atmosphere was that good at all and we were there for a few hours, we left there and went to another bar for food and I dont think I will return again. I can't comment on the food as we didn't eat there, it was €7.90 for a pint of Moretti which is standard over pricing when you are in Dublin City and I am from Dublin and work in the hospitality industry.

05/02/2026: Great coffee but too many rules comes across cranky - Cash only Laptops only on high tables No dogs inside No ceramic cups on bench outside No ceramic cups 30 mins before close Only clean keep cups (no exceptions) Life’s too short! Compare with Shoe Lane close by. Dogs welcome, cash or card, ceramic cups outside, will clean used keep cup, lap top users welcome anywhere.

20/01/2026: The most fabulous coffee in Dun Laoghaire, probably the whole Southside! Fabulous gourmet sandwiches and soup also. Have been there many times and it’s always an absolutely divine experience. Highly recommended!

22/03/2026: I got a chicken burrito, that they happily customised for me. Great atmosphere with plenty of seating inside and out. Unfortunately the burrito was a let down, lacked flavour and chicken pieces were too big for my liking.

21/03/2026: Probably my go to place to take my friends who visit me. We love the food, the burritos are unmatched here !! Highly recommend if you like Mexican food and you like spicy !! If you are a student they have a really great discount !

20/02/2026: Frozen fish with a mealy texture, swimming in oil. This isn't a restaurant, it's a canteen.

16/02/2026: This is a hidden gem. We wanted an authentic Irish Breakfast before we left town and were not disappointed! The staff and environment are humble but wonderful. A beautiful representation of Irish hospitality on our way out of town.

22/12/2025: We get all of our Birthday Cakes from this bakery, they're always absolutely delicious. They always ask which way you want the cake, with a few different options of toppings, cream etc... Very friendly staff and the cakes are always very reasonably priced. I wouldn't go anywhere else for our Birthday Cakes.

27/11/2025: Quite a decent bistro with mainly seafood dishes. Reasonable price during weekday night for 2 course or 3 course meal, even though their famous lobster roll would need an extra pay. Food is okay, drink selection could be a bit more.

23/11/2025: Very overpriced. Food was a good standard but ultimately the quality and portion sizes dont reflect the price point. Service also didn't reflect the price. Staff seemed disinterested.

09/10/2025: The place is mainly take away, but oh so delicious. What I loved most was that most of the food was dairy free. Something hard to come by in Dublin. Had the pea and watercress soup and it was so very delicious. Great smooth creamy and not overly salted ! Also had the sirloin sand which and it was very tasty with the truffle mayo. Which was light in feel, I could’ve had it with less mayo but I personally just don’t love mayo. Will have to return to try their other foods.

23/08/2025: Anytime I get to visit Dalkey, I head to Pepperlaine for the best cappuccino and tasty treat to fuel me up for the day browsing around this lively village. I’m looking forward to popping in over the Lobster festival for my caffeine fix and the chance to pick up a great locally sourced gift for an upcoming birthday while I’m there.

24/12/2025: Good climbing facilities and a decent variety of routes. Staff are helpful, but the place can get crowded, making it less enjoyable during peak hours. Overall, an okay experience.

16/01/2026: Their ice machine wasn't working, and the flat white had a very flat flavor. Service was nice though.

19/03/2026: Very welcoming staff. Sat quickly, food arrived promptly too. The restaurant was spotless and there was a very nice atmosphere

18/03/2026: Came for a meal recently with my family it was relatively quiet with only 2-3 other tables sitted. We took our order swiftly but the food took about 25-30mins to come which isn't acceptable especially that 2 of the meals were kids sliders and myself with a chicken side. The food came out and my little one said that the fries don't taste right so I tried one and almost puked. They tasted old, bland, and absolutely gave a burnt taste. I alerted the waiter and she replaced them within less than 20 seconds which makes me think they knew of the issue but wanted to take a chance. The cheese sauce was also luke warm-gloopy and thick and too overpowering and not the usual quality that you'd expect. Another big issue is how the food was placed like no bowls or anything baskets inside cups and just ridiculousness impossible to eat anything without getting messy. A big shame as this location is usually one of the better ones but sadly I will not be returning to this location as It has happened to alot of people the past couple months.

25/03/2026: Burgers were delicious. Beer was delicious. Atmosphere was fun & just lots to look at. Creativity went flying while dining there! Not a place to miss if in Dublin.
