Order: Chicken chop suey, fried noodles, no celery, no hot spices.
Order accuracy: Perfect.
Portion size: 6/10.
Taste: 5/10 — very flat in flavor, both the chop suey and noodles.
Composition: 6/10 — too many mushrooms, the carrot was almost raw, but fortunately not too much onion and a good amount of chicken.
Packaging/Serving: 7/10 — strong paper bag, but no napkins or chopsticks provided.
Overall: 6/10. For €13.50, I've had much better dishes — but also much worse. It fills you up, but doesn't leave you particularly happy.

You can tell they really care about the service. The food was fresh and full of flavour, with decent portion sizes and good value for money. It’s the kind of place you leave feeling full and happy. I’d definitely go back and would recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxed, quality meal.

12/06/2025: One of the best Indian takeaway in dublin. I have been ordering from Swaad for almost more than a year now and the taste is the same every time I order from here.
The food makes you feel like home and by far the best tasting food I would say. Their channa masala, Chole bhature and Dal makhni is a must try along with their chilli cheese naan! It is worth spending every penny at Swaad. Keep it up Saurabh and team and thanks for serving us the best Indian food! 🎉🎉
12/04/2025: This was the third time I have gotten food from this Indian restaurant,
The first time was by delivery and they left a main course.
The second time we drove down and ordered . They told us fifteen. Mins and forgot our order when there were others getting their orders .
The third time the order was again late and then the chef didn't know if it was lamb or chicken which was cooked.

26/05/2025: Horrible experience here today. Arrived here today with my 86 year old mother. Table was booked, waited quite a long time before someone arrived to greet us. Not a good sign. Downhill from there. Plenty of tables free but host insisted on putting us at a tiny table right beside door and on top of a family next to us. I literally said to him we need somewhere a bit more private to talk and he was very rude and unhelpful,I said we could even go to a table outside. he said we would have to wait even though there was about 10 tables free. Horrible attitude. Have respect for your customers especially if elderly. We ended up walking out. Will never return.

It wasn't bad. A mandatory 10% tip is included in the bill.

06/06/2025: Have been going to Delahunt since it opened and have been many times before moving away and always had a very good experience. Revisited first time in 3 years and I am delighted to say that it is still fantastic.
The menu is short, which means everything is fresh, with something for everyone. Quality and cooking skill is still high-level.
Only complaint I have is, we had a cocktail before dinner upstairs in the wonderful lounge, once of the best cocktail rooms in Dublin but we felt that the cocktails were too small for the price.....finished in 3 sips!!
Overall highly recommend Delahunt.

09/04/2025: Went here recently for a few drinks, the heating was on and the bar was like a sauna which made it very uncomfortable, at one point I went to the bar and was left waiting because there was nobody serving. Both not ideal when it's a Saturday night and the place is hopping!
