13/07/2024: First time having authentic Italian thick base pizza in Dublin. Definitely I am recommending for all pizza lovers visiting and living in Dublin to try from Astopia!

08/11/2024: I love the Caesar salad at this bar! It’s delicious, fresh, and healthy—and surprisingly, even cheaper than McDonald’s. I paid just €13 for a large chicken Caesar salad, while last night I spent €15 on a McDonald’s cold meal! On top of that, the service is great, with friendly staff. Definitely great value for the quality you get here!

06/11/2024: God the food here is sooooooooo good. They have rotisserie chickens on site that they cook themselves. For €21 you can get a huge half of a chicken with bread rolls, chips and slaw, stuffing and gravy. It is so feckin good and amazing value for money. It could literally feed a family of 4. The lasagne is out of this world and so are both the chicken burgers. The only thing I can fault about this place is the kids menus. They do not have any bit of vegetables or pasta on the kids menus it is very American and fried stuff.

06/11/2024: I recently visited The Paddocks and had a mixed experience. The customer service was excellent—the staff were friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was a highlight as well, with a great vibe and music, making it a perfect spot for a night out if you’re there mainly for drinks. However, the food was a bit disappointing. I ordered a prawn dish with rice, but the sweetness overpowered the flavours, which made it hard to enjoy. The cocktail was good, though. I'd rate it an 8/10! Overall, The Paddocks is a great place to hang out and enjoy drinks, but the food could benefit from a bit more balance in flavours.

28/10/2024: Had the curry here and it was very nice, the paddock burger was also really good, the atmosphere was very lively. There were plenty of options to choose from on the menu and the staff were very friendly. Definitely recommend a visit, we had no booking but we were accommodated...

13/10/2024: We feel very sorry to make this comment, but after giving it some thought and following the wonderful trip we’ve had, we believe we should share it. We spent twelve days travelling around Ireland, even staying in five-star hotels, and yesterday, upon leaving the hotel, we had a rather unpleasant surprise. It turns out that when we arrived at the hotel, whose service is spectacular, some friends (as it was our honeymoon) gifted us one of the nights and a stay in the suite. Upon entering the room, we found some chocolates and a bottle of Prosecco along with a card from them (photo attached). Yesterday, during check-out, we were charged for the bottle (which I understand is a standard hotel bottle, and we didn’t make a fuss about it or mention anything at the time). However, we spent the whole day thinking about it. No one told us that the bottle was chargeable, no one informed us of the price, and instead, you left a note from our friends. Sadly, we left the hotel feeling disappointed, and, regrettably, we will not be returning. A bitter end to our honeymoon.

12/10/2024: The staff at Fitzpatric Castle Hotel are all incredibly kind and helped with any questions we had! The hotel is incredibly clean and in a wonderful location! Mapas was absolutely amazing. The staff were incredible kind, warm and absolutely lovely, and the food was absolutely delicious. We ate there each night, and I couldn't believe how delicious each meal was. My Wife highly recommends the vegan flank stank. I had basically one of each non vegetarian meal and they were all fantastic. Thank you Mapas for such an incredible experience with amazing and caring service!

11/09/2024: Prefect pub to end our trip with! The inside is amazing. There were 8 of us and we were served quickly. Nessa, who has worked there for 26 years, was fantastic! There is an entire vegetarian/vegan menu, just ask for it. Everyone enjoyed their meal. The sticky toffee cake is more like a spiced cake. Still good, but not what we expected. Get the bread pudding if you’re getting dessert. Amazing!

11/09/2024: The food was mediocre, chicken was dry, corned beef was dry, we were packed in like sardines with empty tables available. Dessert was left unfinished by most at our table. Service also was mediocre, we asked if we could spread out to another table the server said I need to ask. No one ever got back to us. The dancers were the highlight of the entertainment. Musicians were okay but hokey with rehearsed/scripted comments.

18/08/2024: We went for our 1 year marriage anniversary and welcomed with a delicious sparkling wine and wishes by the manager. The place is very cozy and well organized, and a wonderful service was provided by the team. The food was very good and for a good price. Excellent place to go, we will return in the future. We had an excellent experience!

They should be proud that Republic of Independent IRELAND guarantee highest quality accomodation on the " international world arena". No shame... I hope that people placed there rather... don't complain - at least , that's what I think 🤔 Everything at least buttoned up ❗

10/10/2024: Work nearby so met a friend for lunch here. Had avo toast and croquettes with brisket. Absolutely delicious. Blows any other avo toast I've ever had out of the water with so many delicious toppings. Staff were lovely. Will be back for sure.

08/10/2024: Great takeaway lunch - fantastic baked ham sambo, really good coffee and the orange buns are delicious!! Really friendly staff - great lunch addition to the village.
